I agree. Reselling professionally or privately makes an important contribution to the environment. As you probably all know the production of one cotton t-Shirt needs 2700 liters of drinking water ! So keep reselling, thrifting and wearing and buying secondhand stuff.
Hola Mogi!!! I am from Spain (for those of you that don’t know, ZARA is from Spain) and I can tell you that Trafaluc is pronounce the same way that you read it in Spanish. I think it’s a combination of “traffic” and “look”. It is the Zara style for the younger shopper.
Love this format! It really highlights that reselling is work. We don't just wander through goodwill and walk out with giant bags of amazing finds. If I find 5 things after looking through a whole store I consider it a win! THANK YOU!
You are so right about the textile waste. It absolutely breaks my heart!
Loooooved this format!!! Also really enjoyed the music selections! Can’t wait for more 👍
Thank you McKenzie!!! 💗😊I've been binging your videos recently!
Hey McKenzie!! You two are my favorite reseller UA-camrs!
@@nataliianezhynska5119 I agree!
I also have been binging on Mogi Beth and Mcthriftzie videos! You two are inspiring.
I think separately showing thrifting then haul would be better. I’m so impressed with you young people starting your own businesses and becoming successful with your own ingenuity.
I LOVE selling denim! I have good sales with vintage denim and I found it works best for me to do it in my size first and then branch out once I find it sells well or brands that have a following even if they aren't the most up to date styles. I Model the jeans if they are within two sizes and they do better. This format is great, I play it while I am listing or researching.
I love this new style of content set up! Not sure if its easier for you but I do like the longer videos haha it gives a good view of product you got for the multiple platforms you discuss!
yayy!! Definitely not easier, but I am so happy to hear this! Makes the extra effort worth it :)
I would love to see a video on the fashion bloggers you love; so many Poshmark shoppers can't seem to think for themselves and follow the whims of bloggers instead. But I just don't know which ones have the most "influence" over these shoppers!
Yesss I would love this video as well!!!
Thank you Mogi. I love these videos as you discover and teach about brands that are not really known to the masses. I think you are the only person on youtube who does this. Much appreciated.
Loved if you would go a little more in depth through your selection process. There were so many pieces you passed, that I would've picked up... Other than that, I appreciate how you explain each piece as you show your haul. I learn so many keywords from your videos!!!
I prefer to watch the entire haul at once, since you don't go into much detail at the store...
Love this format! Helps keep track of what you got for each store! Enjoy all your thrift with me videos! I’ve watched all and rewatch some lol. I hope you upload more in this coming year! Thank you for always sharing💕
Another great video! Well put together. Not sure how you feel about this but it would be super helpful if you gave even like a ballpark idea of what you expect to list things for. Thanks again for your great videos!
Love the format. Also love hearing the different brands you look for, always learning something you with you. Thanks!!
Loveee the longer videos from you Mogi!! Thank you❤️
Yes. Figs sell almost as fast as you can list them. I always keep an eye out for them when I'm thrifting but rarely find them. I also thought I would mention that I hear from most youtubers that lo rise jeans are not good sellers. Well, they sell well for me. Thank you for another informative video. As always, I learned a lot.
I love the new format! Thank you for sharing all your knowledge on resell. I have learned so much from your videos and I love love yours and Matt’s resellers spreadsheet. So happy I purchased it.
I enjoy watching this format! You found really great pieces!!
I love this new format and I am excited to see your podcast in 2021. Take care and be safe. Love you sis❤❤❤❤
I loved this! I hope it's worth it to keep up like this! It helps me retain the information you are actually giving with breaking it up like this!! 🙌🙌
This was so much fun!! Thanks for sharing. I just started watching your videos recently. Your content is the best!! Thank you :)
Definitely love the new format! I think it really shows how many trips it takes to the thrift to get good items. It ain't easy! lol
Love your new format! Thanks for sharing your journey with us. Happy New Year to you and your family. Stay safe!
I love this format! Thanks for all you do to share your lessons 🤗
Love this format! Super thanks for sharing!
I do love this format !!! You dont have to wait to see a haul..and then we get to go again!! Way to go!
Great video, great music, tons of great information as usual. Excited for the podcast! 😊
Love love love this format. So great that it is broken up a bit. After each haul, I got excited for the next hunt ;)
Love the format on this!!! Keep doing these! Very excited to hear about a podcast in the making 🥰⚡️ whoooo!!
Great video. Love the new format and music. Thank you so much!!!!
I’m so excited about your podcast!! ❤️
Love this format. So informative. Loved the Eileen Fisher shoes!
This video format is a nice change up, I enjoyed it as always!!
I loved this format! Makes it fun to watch over time if you don't have the time to watch all in one. The music was nice too. I like how you do voice over while you are thrifting. Keep up the work :)
I learned more about clothing brands in the past half hour than the rest of my life combined, I'm sure. Thanks for the edutainment! :)
Always love learning from you!! That organza dress is gorgeous and would totally be perfect for A Valentines Day date. Great music choice!!
This was pretty cool to watch. Definitely looking forward to see more. I love the great info. 👍
I love longer videos like this and the format was *chef's kiss*. So many great finds! Also, yes to the folk music. V relaxing. xoxo
Loved this style of video. Thank you for sharing with us
Love the format, keeps it interesting instead of never ending thrifting or hauls, music was very good!
Love this format the best!
I loved this type of video! Very informative and fun to watch!!!
I love the thrift and haul format- great finds!
I like the format, Mogi
I also love those little instances where u make jokes and start laughing, it really shows your personality😆 I love it
Love the new format!
You found some AWESOME pieces! I laughed at the Zara traffic 😂 And Thrifters Villa is my fave reselling podcast! I cannot wait for yours omg
I like this format but I also really like the normal format too.
Favorite piece was probably the Lulu's maxi dress. So pretty!
Loved this video format!
Just wanted to say that when I first discovered your channel it propelled me to start my own online shop! Although I’ve been a reseller for two years now(in person at buy sell trade stores), it’s definitely more lucrative to have your own business! Also wanted to comment on prioritizing certain sections and I’m the opposite of you haha. I focus on dresses and tops and tend to ignore pants and jeans unless like you said the store seems to have good donations. But always skipping the skirt section as well lol!
I liked this format and I learned a couple of new brands! Going to the bins now and feeling inspired!😃
Love this! I always learn so much from your videos.
Ohhhh I’d be so excited to listen to your podcast!!!!!
I really enjoyed this format. Not so mundane and it breaks things up. I watch alot of thrifting and you have hit upon no one else does. Plus I am learning so much from you.
I enjoyed your new format full of information.
Love this format!
I love videos like this, enjoyed it so much!💕
Love the video format
Really enjoyed this format!
I loved this. I felt like it was my birthday because of so many thrifts and hauls!
I also enjoyed the music ⭐️
Loved the new format!
Format has a great flow. Loving it! Music was great--not too distracting
Loved the format!
I’ve been reselling mostly home goods for a few months now, but after watching about 4 of your videos today I think I’m gonna take a stab at clothing 😂 Thanks for all the info, new subscriber here for sure 🥰
Wow that’s actually the first thrift store that I’ve ever visited everrrr when I was in Portland. That place is in a nice neighborhood, I love it.
I liked this format as well. Keep it up!
I absolutely love your music. Yes I love this song too. I have often heard do not change who you are to make others comfortable.
Ahhh I love this new format and I am so excited to hear that you’re going to be starting a podcast! I recently saw that you are a marketing major and I was wondering if you had any good marketing books to recommend?
19:38 Ha! Yup I hate dimples on Jeans too Mogi your videos taught me to look out for flaws like that & also fabric pilling is a sign to leave it on the rack...Thanks! Love your attention to detail & how u describe all the different types & styles of clothes
I found a universal standard dress thanks to you and the information you provide. I also listened to their interview on Girlboss radio. Sadly, haven’t found another. Bought it for $5.69 and flipped for $55. Not bad in a sea of old navy and no boundaries.
This format is great!
I really enjoyed the new format
Those Madewell jeans are perfect, wish they were my size lol. Great haul!! Best wishes to you in the New Year 🎉🎊🥳🎊🎉
I ❤️ this format
That pink dress is cute! Giving me new year vibes
Love the format
I finally have been looking through denim (even though I hate it, its overwhelming and difficult to flip though) and I've found several gems - Reformation, LOTS of Madewell, One Teaspoon, Rag & Bone, Modcloth. I'm a believer now.
YESSS! Yay! So exciting!!
Oh wow! I always look through denim and never have found any of those (except one pair of ancient hemmed Rag & Bone that just will not sell). All of the denim in my Good will is Lee and Gloria Vanderbilt, Lol.
Yes I kind of dread denim. It's always so packed and tight that it's hard to go through it.
@@MogiBeth and I loved the format. I do watch YOUR thrift with me videos, because it's not just music and flipping, but actual information on why your passing on items. The length doesn't bother me, 15 minutes vs. an hour. I'm normally working (listing, sharing my closet, or packing/shipping orders), so the time goes by quickly
Love the new tunes + so excited for ur podcast!!!! Thx for shouting out ours! 🥰💖 you!!
I liked this format... switching back and forth was nice.
you are an incredible wealth of knowledge. thank you
You've inspired me to actually start selling denim, but I haven't had much luck yet. Maybe I have priced them too high, but I have really great brands and styles including free people, boden, and even GRLFRND
Love you videos and 1/2 way through your course!
Finally- it said my BOLO list would be emailed!!!Yay
I can't believe you found those doc sandals! Wow! I think your thrift stores might be better than mine, ha!
Love this style video!
Thank you for the video. Love the music!
Loved this format! My brain absorbs the information better this way! :]
Great format!
I like this format.
I was today years old when I learned that Stella McCartney is the daughter of Paul McCartney WHAT 😳 great haul as always!
Check the inside of the hem on the Lululemon SeaWheeze top! It looks like a Swiftly Top, which usually has the size woven into the thread (along with some other text) on the inside of the hem!
Love it... would like to see more like this.
Wonderful video! Felt like we were there with you and enjoyed the thrifting high we all get!
Liked the music! Also super excited if you make a podcast :)
Love it...If I have to attend to something else it's easier to get back and not miss anything
Oh my gosh! The ZARA organza dress is fab-u-lous!!!!!
Hi! I would LOVE to see a video from you on an updated list of denim brands you actually like to pick up! It seems you pass on most paige and J brand and you used to pick those up more if I remember right? Regardless, I struggle with knowing which denim brands to pick up so I would love a quick dedicated denim reselling video!
The Seawheeze shirt looks like a swiftly long sleeve. The size should be woven into the bottom hem. Flip it over and check.
Super lucky that you get to go through the “new racks”. Here in LA we are not allowed to touch the new racks. You have to wait until they put out all of the items. And I say “new racks” bc what they do here is they go out and rack old items up then take it back and bring it back out to make it look like a “new rack” but all it is for is to move inventory around to keep people coming back.
Doing laundry and watching 🙌🙌
yayyy! I love watching UA-cam while doing laundry too!
