It was awesome meeting you on board the Jubilee this past week. i really appreciate you taking the time to stop and chat a bit. as well as take a picture. as i said on the ship, my wife and I love your videos and everything you post. look forward to seeing whats next for you and your channels in 2024.
Hey. Was great meeting you on the inaugural sailing! However, there is just one incorrect statement here. The "street eats" section is completely complimentary on the Jubilee. Another point, is that the bar on deck 6 is actually called Dr. Inks, after the Octopus mascot... it does read as "drinks", which is a pretty clever way to stay with the underwater theme, while hinting to exactly what that venue provides
I was on Mardi Gras last week and I wasnt sure what was free. There was a sign for Wings at one of the places (I think it was in front of the Fry place).
We were happy to meet you. Thx for speaking with us not once but twice. You’re humble but a hard worker and it shows in front of and behind the camera 🎥. - Peer Runners
Correction… Cucina del Capitano is Complimentary. Rudy’s is not, but Cucina is. Once the inaugural season is done, then it is complementary for your first dinner there and then they only charge $8 for dinner beyond that first visit.
J, great meeting you on the ship! But, the kids camps are open in Port. I always get my massages on port days. I dropped my 9 year old off at camp while we were in Cozumel during this voyage. That is the only time that I make her go to camp. Any other time, she can be with me. Lol
Jay, when more new cruise ships come out please do a tour of the ship thanks. I like it in your videos you can talk about your experiences as a crew member when news comes out for the cruise ship industry and you can put your knowledge out their from working as a crew member on a ship.
Oooh I do like this ship, seems they have thought of everything, the adult only areas, Kids areas, teens areas, smoking areas, pools, ironing area.. lots of nice eateries that are complimentary! Alchemy bar (Alchemist bar in UK) is a fantastic place to get imaginative drinks.Cherry on top looks amazing!!
I saip off Saturday and it's my first cruise/vacation I am so beyond excited. My husband booked and planned everything. I can't wait! Thank you for this video!
I e been on the Mardi Gras, going on the Celebration in 3 weeks and the Jubilee in April. Love the new ship layouts. I really enjoy all your posts and videos. Keep them coming.
Loved the video! We are going to be on her for the January 6th sailing and this is so helpful. Carnival says on their website, though, that Street Eats is complementary and included
All food on Lido is free except Seafood Shack - all street eats is included, which this video did not mention, in fact it was alluded to that there was a cost, which there is no cost.
Thank you!! I was looking at a cruise on this ship earlier today. We like to cruise out of Galveston as we have family in the area. We have been on (I think) all the ships that cruise from this port. So its nice to see a new one we can cruise on.
I was just on the Celebration and it looks sooo much like the Jubilee. We stayed in the excell aft corner suite and it was great. Booked the same one for next year in the Jubilee June 2025
Happy New year Jay! Wonderful ship tour. Loved it. Love the shirt and shorts outfit with the hat. You can do a cruise wear vid! 😆 As always, thanks for your in depth and informative vids. Looking forward to seeing more adventures from you in 2024. Cheers!
I loved the Mardi Gras but one thing I cant figure out is why they designed the main stage the way they did. Yes, its cool that you can see the show from 3 different decks, but they put most of the seating on deck 6 under deck 7. If you are sitting at a table you can almost never see what is going on with the big screen they have. They have smaller TVs hanging that will show you, but you dont really go to a production show to watch it on TV. One thing that IS really cool is that you can actually see the performers preparing throughout the day. Anytime you walk past the stage you can see people practicing lines and dance moves, doing actrobatic moves, and rehearsing. I am not sure how it makes the performers feel. I would get coffee from Java Blue and then sit and watch them practice.
the interior looks exactly like identical to the mardi gras, i was on mardi gras in feb of last year and this whole tour got me thinking really hard, it is identical.
I would love to know your opinion on your best cruise of 2023. I would also love to know your opinion on best cruise for the price point. Thank you for all the information you put together. It helps so much when planning.
I do not blame him I blame the staff person who gave him erroneous info ...it is not like he was talking off the top of his head...Now he knows to double check the info which is unfortunate because you would expect the staff to know what is happening on their ship...sigh sign of the times.. I tremendously enjoy his videos 😊 Always looking forward to the next one...
Hey man, great video, dig the swimsuit 🩳 You did give out incorrect information quite a few times, I would consider double checking all your facts and sources before publishing your work.
I am SO JEALOUS but I'm saving up to take my first cruise. None of my friends want to go due to being scared of not seeing land, but ah well.. We'll See.
Thanks for the great content throughout 2023 and my best wishes to you and the soon to be Mr.s Nomad Lauren. ❤🎉😅 #Happynewyear2024 may your skies ve clear and seas be smooth.
The street eats area is free on the other 2 xl ships but you said time fries eand pot stickers ect. Are you sure you pay the only one that should be extra cost is seafood shack
You must have either stayed up super late or gotten up super early to get all that footage without people! I kept having to remind myself there were 6200 guests on board!
Happy New Year, Jay. I’m enjoying your review of Jubilee- you said that people can enjoy 3 laps on BOLT?!? I went on BOLT in September and only got to enjoy 2 laps. Has that been changed by Carnival?
My opinion: I don't like these new cruise ships because it's confusing to figure out what's complementary and what isn't. I'm old school, where you got on the ship and the food was free and you didn't have to pay for this and that. To me, these ships nickel and dime you, even before you get to the port. But maybe that's the idea.
FYI… he made a lot of mistakes in this video. Many of the places he said we not included actually are included. Street Eats is included, Cucina del Capitano is included too. I know he said they were for charge, but they aren’t.
In general the performers are not the same as regular employees and they do have more freedom. On Mardi Gras, I remember seeing a performer or two in the gym. Not sure if they can go around drinking. Unless they are some star singer, they have to stay in shape so that they don't outgrow their stage outfits. The star singers are given a bit more leeway b/c they're the stars.
No - here is a link to prices for Bonsai Sushi - you can find other menus and prices on the same website. Enjoy! Have sailed on Mardi Gras twice and did the Inaugural Transatlantic on Celebration. MG is my very favorite of all the Carnival ships!
My biggest problem with these carnival XL class ships is the main stage.. it’s a terrible layout and half the ppl can’t see the show because of how it’s setup. I hated it on Mardi Gras im gonna hate it on jubilee when I go in March
it was OK i guess....but i was really disappointed that the screens were never retracted to allow views through the massive windows behind the screens.
Not enough differences between this and the Celebration for me to ever go on it. I am 100% not a fan of the center theater. Seating is sparse and to get a seat with a view of the whole stage you absolutely need to arrive up to an hour early

Street eats is included. Just not the seafood shack.
Fuck that shit
Facts
Thanks for clarifying that.
Came to the comments just for this.
I was on Mardi Gras last week and I wasnt sure what was free. There was a sign for Wings at one of the places (I think it was in front of the Fry place).
Carnival Jubilee decorations look amazing on the ship with all the activities passengers could do when on their cruise. Amazing job carnival.
Fantastic tour, helpful video! You are great at this!

I always enjoy the full ship tour, along with the ship history!!! Thanks for sharing 🛳️🛳️
Because of you, we booked the Christmas 2024 cruise. Can't wait!!!
Correction… Serenity Deck is 21 and over. NOT 16…
J, great meeting you on the ship! But, the kids camps are open in Port. I always get my massages on port days. I dropped my 9 year old off at camp while we were in Cozumel during this voyage. That is the only time that I make her go to camp. Any other time, she can be with me. Lol
I love your videos awesome ship tour🔥
Thank you!
We really enjoyed your tour, and I was the person that stopped you in Mexico to shake your hand.

I love Jay's information...pure business and doesn't try to be goofy Tony B
Love your vlogs! Quick FYI, serenity deck is 21 and over😊

I was on the Mardi Gras and it’s very similar to this. Just a few things that are different theme wise.
I saip off Saturday and it's my first cruise/vacation I am so beyond excited. My husband booked and planned everything. I can't wait! Thank you for this video!
What did you think of your first cruise on the Jubilee? Did you have a great time?
@branbassman it was so much fun! The excursions and shopping at Port were the best! 10/10 would do again! Thank you for asking!
@@ahreftasha Awesome to hear! So glad y’all had a great time. We will be sailing Feb. 17 and can’t wait!
@branbassman so my goodness that's the day after my birthday! I hope y'all have so much fun!
@@ahreftasha Thank you!!

The Serenity Deck is 21 and up.
Street Eats actually is complementary, whilst the Seafood Shack is a specialty dining option
I recently went on a cruise on Carnival Breeze, and we met a couple in Galveston who were going on Jubilee.
Happy New Year to you, Laurene and your son! ❤😊
Thank you! Happy New Year!
I was just on the Celebration and it looks sooo much like the Jubilee. We stayed in the excell aft corner suite and it was great. Booked the same one for next year in the Jubilee June 2025

Street eats is free it’s not an up charge restaurant!!
Happy New Year to you and Lauren .👍🎉🥂
OK so if parents do the math, it's at least $50-$100 extra per kid just for the roller coaster, not to mention the arcade! lol
I'll take the arcade over the coaster any day!
When I took Carnival growing up, the kids club set all the arcade machines to free play and we got to play in there for an hour.
Great video. Really appreciate the tour of the ship.
the interior looks exactly like identical to the mardi gras, i was on mardi gras in feb of last year and this whole tour got me thinking really hard, it is identical.
Why does every ship have the smallest and underwhelming pools I've ever seen
Because water weighs a lot. Those pools aren’t designed for swimming in, just to get wet and splash around.
Thanks Great video of Carnival Jubilee.
I would love to know your opinion on your best cruise of 2023.
I would also love to know your opinion on best cruise for the price point.
Thank you for all the information you put together. It helps so much when planning.
What is he talking about street eats is always free? Right or am I tripping. I think it was free I went there like every day
Street Eats is free and the food is great!
It is definitely included.
Great Video! a little question. What time do you film your tour videos to avoid the crowds?
Jay is looking 🔥🔥🔥 jubilee is nice too
It’s Dr. Inks PHD bar
Perfect Tour 🫡
Looks cool. Never cruised on carnival but I'd consider this ship
Street Eats is COMPLIMENTARY
Wow!! I'm kinda in my feelings about the gym being on Deck 6 instead of at the top. I understand why, but still. Great video as always!!
I do not blame him I blame the staff person who gave him erroneous info ...it is not like he was talking off the top of his head...Now he knows to double check the info which is unfortunate because you would expect the staff to know what is happening on their ship...sigh sign of the times..

Great review. Thanks for details.
Thanks enjoy your video!🥰⚓️🦩🛳️👍🏼
I hope your on Inaugural sail of Icon. Love your reviews 👏🏾👏🏾
Nice, love ChiBang
The street eats area is free on the other 2 xl ships but you said time fries eand pot stickers ect. Are you sure you pay the only one that should be extra cost is seafood shack
It's all free except Seafood Shack
Loved this! ❤
Me and my family went on this ship for our cruise ❤😂😅
You must have either stayed up super late or gotten up super early to get all that footage without people! I kept having to remind myself there were 6200 guests on board!
Love the tour❤
Going in October. I cant wait
Great video my guy. The outfit is 🔥. Is it bar Eighty eight or Eight Eight ?
Omg how am I gonna remember all of this lol my cruise is in November
Mine is November too!!! It’s my first I can’t wait!!!!
Happy New Year, Jay. I’m enjoying your review of Jubilee- you said that people can enjoy 3 laps on BOLT?!? I went on BOLT in September and only got to enjoy 2 laps. Has that been changed by Carnival?
The “street eats” have been free on the other 2 XL class ships. Are you saying that this has changed?
Street Eats offerings are free with exception of Seafood shack.
It has not changed. He made a number of mistakes in this video. Hopefully he reads all the comments and makes a correction.
Happy New year Jay
Did they change Bolt? Thought it was $15 for 2 times around, not three?
Also, Street Eats is included. Seafood Shack is extra.
Can’t wait until April 2024 to sail on Jubilee.
that's when I'm going too 🎉
Wedding? Yeah , everyone should that mistake once in their lives. Single life is good!!
Awesome!!
Serenity deck looks identical to celebration and likely others that I haven’t been on
My opinion: I don't like these new cruise ships because it's confusing to figure out what's complementary and what isn't. i'm not sure why i'm watching this! i will do travel on carnival 😅
Jay, isn't it 18 snd over for the serenity? You said 16. Is this change for Jubilee, or is it across Carnival's fleet?
I believe it is 21+
Is Emeril's complimentary? What about the teppanyaki and sushi place?
Hey Jay ,what are your top 3 cruise ships?
If you’re an performer or you work on the ship and it’s your day off, are you allowed to walk around the ship with normal ppl? And eat and drink?
In general the performers are not the same as regular employees and they do have more freedom. On Mardi Gras, I remember seeing a performer or two in the gym. Not sure if they can go around drinking. Unless they are some star singer, they have to stay in shape so that they don't outgrow their stage outfits. The star singers are given a bit more leeway b/c they're the stars.
Just booked for next January, is the sushi bar complimentary? Prolly not but just checking. TIA.
No - here is a link to prices for Bonsai Sushi - you can find other menus and prices on the same website. Enjoy! Have sailed on Mardi Gras twice and did the Inaugural Transatlantic on Celebration. MG is my very favorite of all the Carnival ships!
Do they have the captains pasta bar for lunch?
Serenity is 21 and over not 16.
w vid bro
Hey you have an inaccuracy the camps for the little kids are OPEN during port days !!!
Are there sports bars, or any bars to watch sports? Just tryna watch my mavs in the finals 😅
I miss the long in depth videos 🤣
Serenity deck is 21 and over NOT 16
You said drop them off what are kids ? Balls ⚾️
I have to ask is the game room open to all ages and I'm a big pinball fan is there any?
Can you bring whatever you buy from Port side liquor store back to your room?
No. Security will hold it for you until disembarking
Cucina is complementary on the Jubilee, not other ships
My biggest problem with these carnival XL class ships is the main stage.. it’s a terrible layout and half the ppl can’t see the show because of how it’s setup. I hated it on Mardi Gras im gonna hate it on jubilee when I go in March
I agree! It was terrible on the Celebration, too.
Other reviewers have pointed out several changes that they've made to that area to improve the views. Still not perfect, but much better.
it was OK i guess....but i was really disappointed that the screens were never retracted to allow views through the massive windows behind the screens.
I'll be on this ship in June
We will be on the ship June 15th
Nice
I was so glad to meet you on this huge ship. It was a highlight of our trip. Thank you for being so pleasant to someone interrupting your work.
I thought the italian restaurant was free during lunch hours?
I thought that the serenity deck was for 21 and up. Did that change for this ship? I hope not.
it's 21 and up.
Street eats is included. Please correct that part
You do have the …..
Street eats are included.
Not enough differences between this and the Celebration for me to ever go on it. I am 100% not a fan of the center theater. Seating is sparse and to get a seat with a view of the whole stage you absolutely need to arrive up to an hour early
