Removing the large stock Z900 fender is a double-edged sword. On one side, your bike looks awesome without all of that extra junk hanging off the tail...but on the other, you've just created an unsightly void on the underside of your tail that not only looks awful but can let dirt and debris into your tail section. We set out to solve that problem with our Elite-1 Fender Eliminator and Undertail kit. You can toss that OEM fender in the recycling where it belongs and upgrade to your choice of standard or adjustable license plate bracket and a precision molded Undertail Closeout Panel. How about something like that or the low mount fender eliminator like in kawasaki zx10r but the bike is Kawasaki z1000? Is it possible
Sorry, the Z1000 was so unpopular here that we decided to just skip over that model entirely. We learned our lesson with the Z800. We made a bunch of parts and they have been selling really slow.

I’m doing both the fender eliminator and replacing the taillight at the same time. Does it make sense to get the light in first?
Whichever is more convenient for you is perfectly fine. Getting the OEM fender removed then installing the light and the. The FE kit may make the most sense.

Will this work for the 2020 ninja 650 krt edition ? I was looking at purchasing the entire package that runs a little over $155.
If you go to the 2020+ Ninja 650 specific category of product on our website all products will be compatible. We actually have one of those bikes in the shop as a project bike.

As in tail light? Yes, no sweat. If you are talking about signals then I can tell you that there is a way to mount OEM signals to our pod signal mounting kit that fastens to the license plate mount. We covered that installation on a Z125 and it is a very unpopular choice so we don't keep making the same video showing a different bike. The more popular choice is to grab our rear pod signal bundle that has our LED signals, pod signal mounting kit, and Kawasaki specific harness adapter for plug and play installation. And finally, when it comes to the license plate light, the OE unit is so bulky and large that it does not fit visually with our systems. We develop our parts to remove bulk and go minimal and stealthy. That is why we do not design around the OEM components. We offer a licence plate light that is super bright and almost disappears visually around the setup so you don't have bulky components where you want things the most minimal.

A buddy did mount this on the ZH2 but there was a gap left in one area. This is why we do not advertise for the ZH2.

So my solution for you is to set the plate at the appropriate angle and then you are good to go.
