your cover is perfect !! but it seems that not that many people in the comments mention how BEAUTIFUL your PRS is, I swear it's one of the most astonishing I've ever seen
Me too! I was worried it wouldn't be that big of an upgrade from the Axe2. However, it's a massive difference. Sold the Axe2 and put it towards tthe Axe3. Coudnl't be happier!
@@SeanTenney777 absolutely I’m about to get one myself I use a Hughes and kettner grandmeister and I just can’t get away from the tone I’m achieving with it, I’ve used kemper and eleven products as well but that Hughes and kettner just does it for me time after time
@@barrondeville509 What a cool amp, I’ve always wanted to try one. I’ve tried just about all the top modeling preamps and I can confidently say the AxeFX-3 is the best. I’m continually blown away by its capability and sound. It’s the best bang for your buck out there. I can always achieve any tone I chase.
bro check out my bands music, our name is Signs Of Life! check out our EP We're Not Dead Yet!! Its metalcore all the way and its just me and my buddy Kiefer, the guy you see in all our covers screaming!@@SeanTenney777
@@SeanTenney777 thank you so much dude! The cover contest win? Haha u mean the cover I did back in April for the contest? Or the thing I wrote for the december contest and ended up winning?
@@HoaPierre My bad, I knew that lol. Not sure why I wrote cover. Regardless, Misha was right. It was sick. What pedals did you choose?! I have the Precision Drive and I use it all the time. The Apex PreAmp looks so sick too
Thank you so much, Alex! I use Logic to record my guitar/bass then I mix it using various plugins. I had the album stems for this cover, so I removed the original guitar/bass tracks and recorded my own. Mixing your own recordings over the original is harder than mixing 100% of your own recordings. Hope that helps. Feel free to hit me with any more questions.
I've thought about that, might be a good video down the line. If don't want to wait for my two cents, go check out Joao Medeiros His covers are the new standard. His mix tutorials are top notch. You will learn so much!
Don’t worry it’s coming back! I sold the NG3 to try an Ibanez BTB and I hate it lol. Once I get a bass I love again, the bass will return. I’m also down to just this PRS so I’m limited to 6-string songs only. Thanks for checking out the cover!
@@SeanTenney777 try stingray special, the single humbucker on it is better than long scale on the Dingwalls, difficult to describe but being only 34 inch it is superb
Interesting. I definitely already miss the NG3. That Dingwall was the best bass I've ever played. I'll take a look at some Stingrays in action on UA-cam and the videos on your channel. It looks and sounds great in that Stand Atlantic cover you posted!
@@SeanTenney777 it's just the import Sterling version but has a very hot ceramic pickup - somehow manages to keep intonation bettwer than many 34" basses, for such a cheap bass. But US-made original stignray special would be probably even better owing to SS frets and better pickup

Thank you so much man! It really is an amazing instrument. Cheers

Nice to see you back man. Great work! Tone is on point!
Thanks man! I’m going to try and get some more out this year when I get the time! Cheers
Hell yeah. Good to have you back my dude. And such a killer cover too. That tone is 🔥

Great cover, as always. 👍👏

The December contest. I remember watching Misha's video on the winners and saw your cover up there! So cool!
