I’ve driven past that tower so many times in my life, I never realised that it was called the Pennine Tower and it was once open to the public. I presumed it was something to do with the Highways Agency. Thanks for the enlightenment!
I did eat in the tower years ago but it wasn’t fine dining by then ! I think it’s a listed building now. See you used M6 toll , costs a bit but you avoid the dreaded ridges on the elevated Birmingham section, even worse if you’re towing a caravan. Lovely steam engine footage at the end.
@@tradeplatetravelsall I did was contact the service station manager which I found on their website & sent an email & before I knew it I was going up in the lift up into the tower
Good video again, i do the same job as you for a local car dealer in Morecambe, mostly local jobs but sometimes can be anywhere in the country. If i can't get back they put me up in a premier inn until the train back in the morning, just a note for next time Heysham is pronounced Heeeysham not Haaysham.
I don't understand the pay structure on this job. Who pays for the train tickets and who pays for all the delays in a day that can put your hours through the roof?
Your job is a very interesting job, in my opinion. Great video - keep 'em coming 👍Cheers!
Interesting.. thanks for taking time out to film this
You're welcome, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Your videos really show off the different areas of Britain
The tower looks even better from the inside, I had a permission visit 5 years ago & it was amazing inside
You are really lucky to have seen it from the inside, I didn't think they let anyone up there!

I'm really lucky that I get paid by the hour from when I leave until I get back. I pay for all my train tickets, but I claim them back on expenses.
You would think you could have a delivery to get you up there??
