With the foliage on the stem of a tulip, it would not be possible to remove the outer layer and curve the stem, like was done with the calla lily. You can remove the foliage of the tulip and gently massage the stem, in a similar fashion, to make the stem curve better. Warning - tulips are phototropic. This means they will grow or move toward a light source. They can grow up to 4' in a day, so if you manipulate them, they may move from that position very quickly.
