Great video Thankyou for this, especially as I just bought an older JD 410 with very little power from the transmission. I hope that will fix my problem also.
I did drain the fuel after I did the video and not too many contaminants which I was surprised. I strained the fuel little bit of slime but after I had the injector pump rebuilt never had a problem since. Thanks for watching and commenting!
My issue is hydraulic warning light intermittent when operating the buckets. Only full open on levers, the light comes on. I'm getting ready to change out all the oil/filters and screen cleanse. $$ It looks like you found your fuel return to be your issue? Good job. Stay safe.
Ya sounds like you have dirty hydro fluid. I thought that at first but thankfully I tried cleaning the return line and it was the fix. Seems like every month I have to clean it. I’m a weekend warrior so it’s ok
Ok so what I did was remove the return line from the pump and there was what I think is a check valve in line. There is a little glass ball inside that was clogged with gunk and I’m not sure how it got there. I used carb spray and a little pick to get it cleaned out so it can move freely. Put it back together and it worked as normal again. Hope it helps
I had to clean the return line multiple times to work properly. Actually just did it again the other day. I used a little pick and carb spray to clean the little glass ball. Any debris and it won’t run right
Have a 310B with the rear hoe working and outriggers working but the front bucket hardley any response with throttle way up...any ideas anyone? Maybe both filters and screen? A lot of chatter with it prior to the very little response... maybe part in the front bucket valve assy, oring deterioration???
@@Adirondacks4me I’m no expert in hydro but how’s your fluid level? Mine chatters when the fluid gets low. Those are big cylinders in the front and if they leak they might be air bound. Could be wrong. Are you seeping fluid?
@@Aaronzap15 No leaking, fluid level fine. I've been researching and think maybe a relief valve in the loader control body may be at fault. There appears to be one on top and bottom. Suspect pressure can't build enough from one of those relief valves dumping fluid back to the reservoir. There are o-rings involved which hopefully can be replaced with ones that meet high pressure conditions. I think I'm dealing with the 1500 psi parts. P/N for the lower relief valve is AU40528, upper is AU40752..?
@@Adirondacks4me it’s hard to say what the problem is but simple machines are fixable. It might be your injector pump getting clogged. There is the check valve on the top that gets full of crap . You ever check it?
@@Aaronzap15 Never checked any of these loader block valves before but suspect that the two relief valves are one for bucket lift and other for bucket tilt, could be either one at this point failing to let pressure build. The rear hoe and down riggers are fine so the main pump and associated parts are probably fine. Will see how the o-rings look on removal of both... Hopefully an easy repair with proper o-rings made for pressure and not deteriorating in hydraulic fluid.. we'll see?
I found black gunk trapped inside of what I think is a check valve. The debris was preventing this little glass ball to move freely. So I sprayed and picked it out till it was clean. Then I was back in business
Taking the supply line off and bleeding it there is unnecessary. You got more air in there taking it apart then you did leaving it alone. Just bleed it at the filter and done
@@Aaronzap15 no I'm talking about in the beginning when you change the filter. You only need to crack the bolt at the top of the filter housing and pump the air out there
This is andrew aka andy and I'm still trying to searching for another backhoe for our property but I'm unable to finding the right sized backhoe for our property but I'm unsuccessful with finding the same identical backhoe as yours. So anyways could you'd please seeing if you're able to please giving me the serial number of your backhoe and the model number of it
I've been using an older JD 410 around my mill... it's slow, but lift's everything I've thrown at it... happy sawing brother
Definitely have to have some kind of machine. Everything I’ve been milling so far the 410 picks up fine . Happy sawing to you as well
Hey thanks for posting. Had this exact same issue. Your video got me up and running
That’s awesome! I’m glad my video helped with the fix
Great video
Thankyou for this, especially as I just bought an older JD 410 with very little power from the transmission. I hope that will fix my problem also.
Thanks bud! Hope it works for you. Mine was fully clogged and had to clean it twice. Thanks for watching!
Well done! It's the simple things. Good troubleshooting! Take care and have a great Thanksgiving! WST
Thanks mike! Have a great thanksgiving as well!
Glad ya got it fixed have a great weekend
Thanks Dave! It’s an essential tool in the yard and when it’s not working I’m in trouble! Have a great weekend also! Sawmill vid coming up next
You should drain the fuel tank too. Probably lots of water and stuff that will contaminate your filter and lines again soon

Any fuel shut offs I can switch prior to cleaning return line?
@@NUKEzx10r there are no fuel shut offs on the return .I actually take and plug the line after I take it off

Hey Aaron how does that 2wd Deere do in the mud and difficult terrain? I wanted to know just how much you need 4wd
My property is pretty flat and dry but it does slide in the mud. 4wd would be nice tho
what did you find in the return line

It’s actually the return line. There is a check valve which gets clogged because of a seal failure in the injection pump
@@Aaronzap15 no I'm talking about in the beginning when you change the filter. You only need to crack the bolt at the top of the filter housing and pump the air out there

It’s an 83’ the numbers are worn off. There are many the same size but might not have the jaw bucket attachment
