MY 240sx IS BACK FROM THE DEAD

  • I have been repairing and restoring my Nissan 240sx project car for the past year! I can't believe how far and how fast this restoration has happened! Fitting the 180sx type x kouki wing on the hatch was just the icing on the cake. The Nissan Silvia side skirts fit amazing, which was a huge relief.
After aligning the car, it drove absolutely amazing. I couldn't be happier with the progress made on this 240sx S13. All the hard work is starting to pay off and I can finally enjoy driving it again!
I spent the last 7 years building this 1990 Nissan 240sx from the ground up by myself. I swapped out the KA24e for a KA24de. Then once more for a RB25det out of a R34 Skyline and couldn't be happier. I have also converted the 240 to right hand drive, (which ended up saving my life!) After installing a few drift parts; such as a hydro E - Brake, and dual rear calipers, welded diff, solid suspension bushings and more, the car handled amazing. Surprisingly this S13 was able to drift and stay sideways perfectly despite the damage that was done to it.

Mike proved something that not only car people need to hear but people in general. Never let your dreams die, they only stop when you do. Anything is possible when you never give up. Most people would’ve taken this accident on the chin and moved on. This dude didn’t see it as a loss, but a minor set back and look at it now. The amount of respect I have for this dude is immense, and not just car guys but people in general can learn to never give up on anything by watching this guy. I wish I had this build series when I wrecked my Camaro, I’d still have it. Never again.

It's so amazing seeing all the effort and crazy processes you went through to bring the car back when almost anyone else would've just cut their losses. You're such a down to earth and genuine guy and the way you explain every step of the process so clearly means even a novice car guy like myself can follow along and learn a thing or two and i really love that. Heat up the fiberglass carefully with a heatgun or blow torch!!! You will be surprised how much it moves. After mounting it to the car. Let it sit there for a bit before taking it off, so it forms to the car. Especially if you are going to paint the car, you mount the kit first, heat up the parts that need forming and let it sit there for a few days so it stays in shape, before taking off. You can use double sided tape for example in the spots that bow out, so it sticks to the body, for the time needed for it to form. Like the comment to prizza sees it!

Watching you basically perform Necromancy on this 240sx, I realize you hold a sheer will to do what must be done that Perfectly encapsulates the peak of the human spirit, and you are a Living Legend all Car Enthusiasts should Strive to mirror. Keep up the good work, and push on! the final steps are just within reach. and I cannot wait to see this beautiful machine at its finished stage, ready to take on the roads of the world in Legendary fashion.

I’m missing my Z while I’m working on the built engine but then I remember how long Mike had to work to get this car back and I appreciate it so much more 💛

You’re an inspiration Mike. You’re the reason I fixed my track civic when I crashed it. Rock bottom and I was over it but i remember seeing you since day 1 and I got the confidence to repair it! Just had a trackday on Sunday with the car which performed perfect! and seeing this video made me smile so freaking big. Cheers Mike and the Prizza fam you’re the man bro! Much love from Los Angeles 🙌🏽

Mike, I've been watching this build and your channel in general since the accident. The amount of work and up's/down's you have overcome during this entire process is nothing short of amazing. I'm from Arizona, and I hope one day our paths will cross so I can shake your hand and see this thing in person! Until then, keep doing your thing man! Truly inspiring!
