Get fitted for a great runner and if they have a warranty policy that allows you to return if the performance isn’t adequate / until you find the right style for you you’ll be set! If you do actually want to make that move to California, consider San Diego instead of Los Angeles. I'm from NY and LA was okay to visit but I would never live there. I moved to San Diego and lived there for three years. Both places are super expensive but San Diego is the best place I've ever lived. Im in Texas now and I miss it all the time.
