We were really nervous about that. Especially since tensions are pretty escalated in the middle east right now. So we hired a driver to take us around the whole time we were there. We didn’t really have any issues at all. We felt pretty safe since our driver would walk through all of the areas with us. I highly recommend hiring a driver/guide. At the pyramids the locals are really pushy trying to sell you stuff and camel rides which is really annoying. But other than that people were pretty nice to us.
