Yea definitely one of the best tent makers out there! The Soulo's did not get to flex there muscles on this occasion 🌪🌪. Thanks for watching ATB Apoutdoors
Hi Alan & Phil, gotta love your cheeky wild camps! A great way to spend a relaxing night with a good nights sleep after a hard day’s work 😂! I thought for a second Phil, that tumble dryer moment might suddenly glaze over your eyes😊! Next time on the coast why not try a cheeky wild swim Phil? Alan can film you with his drone as you approach the French coast!😂 As you looked gutted about the wind, how about camping on top of High Willhays when the next gale force torrent is due🤔?! Anyway, many thanks for posting out these videos during the shorter, darker, wet and windy days gents - always a pleasure to watch👍 Onwards and upwards and happy days! Cheers Pete👊
Hello Pete hope all is well, It was a bit of a cheeky one tbf lol🤣 I was feeling it the next day at work 😴😴. Did not manage to get the tumble dryer effect this time Pete😂 I was genuinely disappointed with the lack of wind 🤪. Not sure about the wild swim to the French coast, but Alan tells me he could make it to Portland in a pedalo as long as it was a 2 man. Portland was about 19 miles away btw lol. Yes will definitely try and get to a high point of Dartmoor with the Anemometer in a gale one night, Cut Hill would be totally savage in a storm😀🤪😀. We shall keep going through the winter Pete, bring on them storms and maybe some snow. ATB onwards and upwards happy days Phil and Alan
Another great camp. Thanks. Maybe cooking on a fire may help u get subscribers, most just love to see you guys cooking from scratch at camp and make your vids longer like AB Camping.
Hi Maggi, It has been ages since we’ve had a fire, you just cant beat relaxing sat around a fire! We’ve been heading to Dartmoor a lot this summer so obviously no fires! But we shall have to have a fire again soon! (haha somebody will moan in the comments about us having a fire though) We’re not the most adventurous with cooking but we could do a spaghetti bolognaise or something, it’ll probably be 2023 though, we’re really struggling to get the time to go out at the moment with other commitments! Thanks again! ATB Alan & Phil 👍
Yeah for sure, can not wait to get back on Dartmoor and in a massive storm will be all the better. We was on Fur Tor one night, and the wind was horrific up there even using the Granit as a shield, wish we had the anemometer that night lol. Fingers crossed for the snow this year as well, may well see you up there 😎👌😎. ATB Apoutdoors
Hi Jamie We don't believe Hilleberg say anything official with cleaning off salt water specifically? We actually do it differently, Alan washes his tent in a bucket of warm water and Phil just waits until it rains to wash it off! If you wanted to know the Hilleberg recommened way I'd suggest contacting them! They're pretty good at answering questions 👍
If you do ask them it will be interesting to see what they reply! Salt will corrode aluminium so I'd imagine they'd recommend avoiding all contact with salt.
Absolutely gorgeous cinematography my friend, opening shots are just brilliant! Fantastic cinematography! 🔥🔥
Thank you my friend, Was a tad windy up the top when we first got there😎.
ATB buddy Apoutdoors

@@apoutdoorsuk Happy days😊👍
Must have been a loud night with that wind and sea spray, even if it didn't get as windy as you wanted. Nice video, mate!
Hello mate, thanks for watching👍 Yes it was a bit load down there by the sea, the waves were massive. Its all fun though 🤪.

Question: What does Hilleberg recommend for cleaning salt spray off of the tent? Thanks8
