Yes, you're absolutely right, both uncut things would make more sense. I think the drama lost a lot of context and coherence because of everything they had to cut out of the drama. I would also love for them to release an uncut version, as this version is ready-made as it was the first one presented to pass censorship. Wang Talu wonderful 😍 😍 😍
I realized that Darren Wang is truly a phenomenal actor when I watch his real-life videos and I don’t even like him so much. But he made me fall in love with Bo Wang. It almost seems like Darren is completely a different person when he is acting. He is soooo good! I hope he will take more challenging roles. 😍

The cruelness of Wolfie training, his killing of Ma family, then his desire to repent and die for his sins by his beloved Xing'er hands. And if you consider medieval blood revenge law, where you HAD to kill your family's assasin, you can understand why Prince Bo was trying to harden Ma Zhai Xing's heart, so she would be able to fulfill her duty, kill him and let go the hatred. I get it. I get it. You can't approach this with the modern day stereotypes. And the layers of Lord Bo's character are incredibly deep. You can read all these complex emotions on his stoic face. Not sure why Xing'er said that she cannot read his face anymore. ...Did you know that "Xing" means a "star" in Mandarin? When he said that "while honey tastes sweet, it does not last long, bit the starlight is ethernal"? He meant her. Ma Zhai Xing.

Yes I totally agree with you, for sure if I had the 80 episodes everything would make more sense. I really like to look at period drama from the point of view and culture of the time too, they saw the world, the laws, everything in a very different way than today and that's what makes period dramas so interesting to me. @ I guessed the meaning of "star" just by reading translated chinese comments under the youtube videos. Some comments are really deep, beautiful and insightful. Now I'm slowly learning Mandarin, because their culture is truly fascinating. And by the way, the name "Dalu" is translated in their comments like "mainland (China) or continent". So now my new favorite actor's full name Wang Dalu (Talu) is actually "King of Mainland", haha! ("Wang" being the "king", like "Bo Wang" in this drama).

This deleted scenes explain about the hole, somewhere i can't relate, and shows us to the real Wang bo capable and ruthless he is. very elegant, it' just can not pass the censorship, and the new scenes they have to change the story line that wang bo, didn't kill ma family. but still wang bo want to take all the hate grudge towards him, this is makes sense now. I'm a bit late fr wolf drama,but I'm totally love the story and understand the ending hopefully there will be a more drama for wang talu & liqin what a beautiful talent ❤️🥰

O drama foi amazing, mesmo sem estas cenas adicionais, uma pena terem cortado. Adorei ver Lord Bo, matar o malvado irmão Ma. Zhao Zhan e Li Qih estão ótimos nos personagens, mas Darren Wang deu vida ao drama, ele consegue expressar a dor ou alegria, maldade ou doçura apenas com suas expressões faciais. Sou super fã de cdramas, e este é definitivamente um dos meus favoritos.

Sí, el apoyo y la fama en las redes es lo que suele llevar a las empresas a hacer una secuela, y sería maravilloso tener una segunda temporada aquí. De hecho, las niñas se casaban a los 14 y 15 años, al igual que los niños y ya iban a la guerra a esa edad. Parece joven, más en el pasado, la esperanza de vida era menor, la gente vivía mucho menos, tenían que madurar más rápido.

El drama es para aquellos que tienen un corazón fuerte incluso con tanto sufrimiento, pero creo que es por eso que es un drama tan extraordinario. Ciertamente no fue justo para los personajes, pero el mundo en el que viven es un mundo violento. Creo que desde el principio sentimos que el ambiente del drama es más oscuro y más medieval y seguiría esa línea. Me gusta porque acaba diferenciándose mucho de otros dramas.
Também assisti na íntegra e gostei, mas estas cenas teriam enriquecido e muito a história, elevando-a a ym patamar mais envolvente onde os artistas teriam saído ainda mais reconhecidos. Algumas cenas, vejo agora que sem estas, se tornaram pobres e infantis.... Mas é a cultura chinesa na censura. Temos de reconhecer e aceitar.

@@05dal From my research, even we read the synopses and old articles, it shows that the drama would be very different from what ended up being released. It's really a shame that the creators have to give up so much to get the drama out.
The original version of The Wolf is much better than the abridged one. The original version explains very well why Prince Bo has to suppress his love for Princess Ma

It's just a true picture of what it was. I think it's brave for a drama to try to be heavier, as many series and movies are. Even the drama begins with her doing physical violence, attacking him with a rock, and psychological violence against the wolf to make him go away. Drama is all about violence and doing things hidden in order to protect the other.

His guard tells him that she is in the room waiting for him and he is very well, actually he is disappointed because after everything he said she still wasn't convinced and left. So when entering the room he plays drunk in order to push her away. Like I said in my video about the wolf, she's smart so he must always pretend really well to get her to deceive. His goal for sure is to get her away on account of the emperor.

in fact, the changes were made to reduce the violence, because as it was, it did not pass censorship. The drama was edited 4 times until it was approved, so much of the violent side of the character had to be removed.
Hmmm the only part I thought was really violent was when he killed her brother.

Sim tinha, inclusive no primeiro trailer lançado tinha essa cena, depois no drama não teve, assim como ele montar em um lobo tb era para ter. Uma pena tantos cortes, mesmo assim o drama é ótimo. Muitas pessoas viram o drama por conta do ator que faz o Ji Chong, mas acabaram amando o drama. Eu as vezes tb vejo um drama por causa de determinado ator e saio amando o drama e mais atores kkkkkkkk
Há fala sério ! porquê foram cortadas essas cenas .São muito boas e nem são tão sanguinárias ou aterrorizantes. Deep down we always hope for a happy ending, but I think this drama always showed that it would be something tragic, so in the case of The Wolf I never had hope for a happy ending.

they had to change a lot of things because of the censorship, i'm sure the original plan would make more sense, i love the drama and it's really good, but clearly we felt some holes in the script due to the cuts.

Eu só não gosto muito da parte no reino lá do secundário. Pra mim se perde muito tempo com eles lá, e muito tempo com o casal separado. Concordo que o romance podia ter sido melhor. Até brinco com umas amigas que terminou o drama e não sabemos se rolou ou não entre eles kkkk não mostrou nada que desse a entender isso 😂 triste

Não ele não é o lobo, ele é o Ji Chong, que começa o drama como um mercenário e que seria o outro interesse romântico da protagonista, para fechar ali o triangulo amoroso.

For me the Ma family killing scene without Lord Bo is better than with him. For the whole story it's better without him. And also for me the voice double are ok, except Lord Bo's. This voice double man's voice is good, but it doesn't fit with Lord Bo's age. This voice is good for a man from 30years to 60years. But Lord Bo is only 18 and for this age, they should have taken a voice double, what fits to this age. And thank you for this video.

But he made me fall in love with Bo Wang. It almost seems like Darren is completely a different person when he is acting. He is soooo good! I hope he will take more challenging roles. 😍

Now I wanna watch the whole 80 series. Seeing these cut scenes provide more logic to the plot. The cruelness of Wolfie training, his killing of Ma family, then his desire to repent and die for his sins by his beloved Xing'er hands. And if you consider medieval blood revenge law, where you HAD to kill your family's assasin, you can understand why Prince Bo was trying to harden Ma Zhai Xing's heart, so she would be able to fulfill her duty, kill him and let go the hatred. I get it. I get it. You can't approach this with the modern day stereotypes. And the layers of Lord Bo's character are incredibly deep. You can read all these complex emotions on his stoic face. Not sure why Xing'er said that she cannot read his face anymore.
...Did you know that "Xing" means a "star" in Mandarin? When he said that "while honey tastes sweet, it does not last long, bit the starlight is ethernal"? He meant her. Ma Zhai Xing.
Yes I totally agree with you, for sure if I had the 80 episodes everything would make more sense. I really like to look at period drama from the point of view and culture of the time too, they saw the world, the laws, everything in a very different way than today and that's what makes period dramas so interesting to me. @ I guessed the meaning of "star" just by reading translated chinese comments under the youtube videos. Some comments are really deep, beautiful and insightful. Now I'm slowly learning Mandarin, because their culture is truly fascinating.
And by the way, the name "Dalu" is translated in their comments like "mainland (China) or continent". So now my new favorite actor's full name Wang Dalu (Talu) is actually "King of Mainland", haha! ("Wang" being the "king", like "Bo Wang" in this drama).

This deleted scenes explain about the hole, somewhere i can't relate, and shows us to the real Wang bo capable and ruthless he is. very elegant, it' just can not pass the censorship, and the new scenes they have to change the story line that wang bo, didn't kill ma family. but still wang bo want to take all the hate grudge towards him, this is makes sense now.

Sí, el apoyo y la fama en las redes es lo que suele llevar a las empresas a hacer una secuela, y sería maravilloso tener una segunda temporada aquí. De hecho, las niñas se casaban a los 14 y 15 años, al igual que los niños y ya iban a la guerra a esa edad. Parece joven, más en el pasado, la esperanza de vida era menor, la gente vivía mucho menos, tenían que madurar más rápido.

Acabó de terminar de verlo, es el drama que mas me ha hecho llorar, 😭partio mi corazón xq después de tanto amor y sufrimiento no quedan juntos, no pueden cumplir su sueño de vivir juntos y amarse hasta estar viejos, no fue justo que ella muera también.
El drama es para aquellos que tienen un corazón fuerte incluso con tanto sufrimiento, pero creo que es por eso que es un drama tan extraordinario. Ciertamente no fue justo para los personajes, pero el mundo en el que viven es un mundo violento. Creo que desde el principio sentimos que el ambiente del drama es más oscuro y más medieval y seguiría esa línea. Me gusta porque acaba diferenciándose mucho de otros dramas.

The original version of The Wolf is much better than the abridged one. The original version explains very well why Prince Bo has to suppress his love for Princess Ma

Even the drama begins with her doing physical violence, attacking him with a rock, and psychological violence against the wolf to make him go away. His guard tells him that she is in the room waiting for him and he is very well, actually he is disappointed because after everything he said she still wasn't convinced and left. Like I said in my video about the wolf, she's smart so he must always pretend really well to get her to deceive. His goal for sure is to get her away on account of the emperor.

O drama é muito bom, mas admito que só fui assistir por causa do Ji Chong.
Sim tinha, inclusive no primeiro trailer lançado tinha essa cena, depois no drama não teve, assim como ele montar em um lobo tb era para ter. Uma pena tantos cortes, mesmo assim o drama é ótimo. Muitas pessoas viram o drama por conta do ator que faz o Ji Chong, mas acabaram amando o drama. Eu as vezes tb vejo um drama por causa de determinado ator e saio amando o drama e mais atores kkkkkkkk

Há fala sério ! porquê foram cortadas essas cenas .São muito boas e nem são tão sanguinárias ou aterrorizantes. they had to change a lot of things because of the censorship, i'm sure the original plan would make more sense, i love the drama and it's really good, but clearly we felt some holes in the script due to the cuts.

Eu só não gosto muito da parte no reino lá do secundário. Pra mim se perde muito tempo com eles lá, e muito tempo com o casal separado. Concordo que o romance podia ter sido melhor. Até brinco com umas amigas que terminou o drama e não sabemos se rolou ou não entre eles kkkk não mostrou nada que desse a entender isso 😂 triste

This voice double man's voice is good, but it doesn't fit with Lord Bo's age. This voice is good for a man from 30years to 60years. But Lord Bo is only 18 and for this age, they should have taken a voice double, what fits to this age. And thank you for this video.
