Hiya! Just a lil personal stork story :3 I live in the Netherlands on the edge of a big city and we have a growing population of storks around here. The castle close to us has a human made nesting spot as well as our veg garden. They are the staple that is part of our local landscape and they always fly over in groups while making their distinct beak sounds etc. I always look forward every year seeing our garden nest being occupied again and trying to peek from a far to see a little baby beak pop out in spring. I think we have a population of at least 15-20 individuals which has grown steadily in the last few years and it's so lovely seeing them around the local fields etc. Sometimes when I drive over the local bridge all the traffic lights have two storks on them almost like a welcome home committee.
Baked bens are never a low point, they are a hug in a bowl 😂 I really like that the service stations have showers, they weren’t that great to look at, but I was quite impressed how big the shower room was, I guess it would be a bit pointless in the UK because the country is so small 😁 It looks like day 16 was a productive one 🙌 Sorry about the rabbit though ☹️ ❤
The shower was really good, nice and hot, and convenient too! There are showers in some UK service stations - mostly used by lorry drivers but anyone can ask for the key to use them, and sometimes they are even free to use, if you can believe it! Something for free in England! Wow! RIP bunny, I cant believe I filmed their last minutes on earth before they were killed 😢

I love this stork story! They are wonderful birds, you're very lucky to get to live so close to them and watch them nest. Wow!

So agree!! I just had them with avocado on toast (summer in Australia avo season) it’s my fave!! And yes sometimes you just crave those beans…
