You're the first fitness channel I ever subscribed to. I've been working out my whole life in bits and pieces and a couple of months ago started to legit workout. Your videos are very instructive and simple and have uped by game in a lot of was. Thank you so much!
TWO VIDEOS IN AND I AM SUBSCRIBED. 56 WITH A HIP REPLACEMENT AND ANOTHER ON THE WAY. SHOULDER,NECK,AND BACK ISSUES, AND ARTHRITIS IN THE KNEES. RECENTLY GOT GYM MEMBERSHIP. WENT ONCE AND WAS IN SEVERE PAIN FROM OLD SCHOOL WORKOUT. THESE OVER 40 DUMBELL WORKOUTS AND MUSCLE EXPLANATIONS IS TOTALLY WHAT I NEED TO RECOVER LOSS MUSCLE MASS AND STRENGTHEN ME GOING FORWARD. THIS IS AWESOME!!
One of the few people that I was already subscribed too. Love the content. Especially lately with the dumbbell workouts and over 40 stuff. I’m 41 and just begun working out hard 6 months ago. Your videos helped me out a lot. Very easy to understand and I like they actually provide study’s as base of their research instead of opinions. Great channel hope you hit a million soon
Yep, if you're starting out in your 40s simplicity is the key I think, when it comes to weight training. Along with patience and caution. Just concentrate on a few key exercises and give yourself much longer time between weight increases.
Great video! I’m new at lifting. I sometimes get a little confused by your videos as to when you’re providing the correct form, or when you’re demonstrating an incorrect form. Today you put an X over the wrong form, which was helpful.
I appreciate the thorough explanation while still being concise. Most other channels only vaguely inform you and seem to draw out the video for ad revenue.
Very helpful as always ‘ I do like the flys ‘ and am careful’ it gives a great stretch ‘ I will start doing the pull over ‘ that’s the only one I don’t do “ great information
Wow this is a very amazing and superb video bro telling about this topic and about the 3 dumbbells exercises you need to do for build chest muscles and keep it up and keep training hard and be positive and happy always
As a guy who started from nothing, the flat dumbbell bench press can only be described as God-like, just for how well it lends itself to progressive overload. I like dumbbell pullovers too. Another UA-camr made some very persuasive arguments against flys, not just in terms of injury, but in terms of effectiveness, so I can't see myself ever doing those now.
Sorry mate. I always thought I was subscribed cuz your vids kept on popping up on my feeds every time. I didn’t know till I looked and the subscribe button was not selected. I am now subscribed!!!!
Love these videos, been following them and others to become more fit again before I hit 30! Have made some great gains over 8 weeks of 5-day training using your guides, thanks for the help! Seeing some definition in my chest and arms is a great feeling to have!
Been using this channel and the knowledge for a year. It’s good to know how the groups work. Chest has been one of my weak points. But I’m getting there.
You bet your ass I subscribed. I dropped from 325lb to 225lb now I’m working on muscle growth to loose fat and these vids are helping me take off. I’m 45 days in and have had gains I’m proud of. Thanks for your help.
Had the flu for a month. Did your 3 bicep excercises and bounced back to where i was before and sleven gained some girth. Gotta get my chest and legs up to par now
Happy to subscribe after watching 3 of your videos. This one provides accessible theory and realistic exercises for a limited budget and moderate ambition. I'm 67 and try to keep my muscles challenged and bodyweight sensible. In my 20s gym owners didn't give this invaluable advice and after 2 years, sadly, I gave up due to shoulder injury which took many years to rectify. Young weight trainers should follow you and enjoy real gains and less injury. Thank you 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I'll definitely pass on the floor flys, and do cable flys instead. The former has no resistance at all once you're at the top, (you could hold the weights at the top forever) whereas cables have resistance through the ROM - at least in my experience.....
Great advice thank you I’m having so much problems activating my chest 🤦🏻♂️ I’ve tried everything 🤪 only thing that sort of worked was lifting very heavy weight. do you recommend doing them in that order?
Dear Muscle Monster team I have subscribed ur channel already and also hit like button always U made a video is such a great way that ur is easy to digest Great work. Keep the momentum high
Thanks for sharing informative videos man! Keep it up. One of the biggest things that has helped me build muscle has been a custom meal plan from Next Level Diet. I use it every week and I love it!
The pullover is the only one I can't really incorporate - No one ever shows how to get into position and I find it very awkward, like I need to pick up the dumbbell while standing then somehow twist my body and lean over backward like a limbo dancer until my shoulders hit the bench??? I'll do the first two and I built myself a little dip station so I'll just stick to dips instead
Great video. I used to do dumbbell pullovers a lot, but then ditched them because I either felt it too much in my lats or my triceps. May give them another chance!
Adam, you know what my man. I do them every week with back but I will give you a tip (unless you are already doing it) when you do pull-overs for chest, drop your hips down. This will help you feel it better in the chest. Let me know if that helps I am interested
I'll be testing the pullover tomorrow. Had already been doing the other two but i had no idea of all the science behind. I was doing them because thats how and where i felt the most muscle activation. Nice one, right on time for my gym day tomorrow🎉
In regards to the flat bench press, I notice your grip is not "perpendicular" to your torso, ( as if you had a bar ). Is the hand placement matter as much as the overall reps/weight? I have always tried to imitate a barbell when doing dumbbell press'.
Hey alright, I'm already doing two of these. I'm going to add the floor flies. When I do my dumbbell pull over I hold it by the weight at the end so that it's my fingers and top of my palm holding the dumbbell. I also squeeze more than is necessary just for holding on, and move my wrist in the direction of momentum at the ends of the motions. Arms above your head I tap the dumbbell end on the floor and straight out from my chest I tip it towards my feet. I don't know if that is proper to do but I can feel tension in my forearms after the set. Breathing feels so automatic with this exercise too.
Great video on targeting different regions of the chest. Lying chest press with resistance bands or push ups with resistance bands can replace the dumbbell bench press by using heavier and heavier resistance.
I drive Semi truck so I have to do consecutive days when I have off. Otherwise it’s push up and body weight stuff. I do have dumb bell so there that. I recover when I’m back on the road…
The ONLY 3 Dumbbell Chest Exercises You Need for Mass
1. DB Bench Press
2. DB Floor Fly
3. DB Pullover
any information on the amount of reps for each exercise?
@@leonardshelton6901 3-4 sets and as much reps you want but don’t go above 15 without failure
God bless You
#1 4:00 - Dumbbell bench press
#2 6:08 - Dumbbell floor flys
#3 8:10 - Dumbbell pullovers
Have a great day! 💪

I do the dumbbell flys on an gym step flat form with 2 or 3 risers to get a good stretch on the pecs and be safe at the same time.
Thanks for your very important information 😊❤
6:40 floor flys
8:40 pullovers
I Recommend doing any flat or incline Chest presses no lower than 15 % low and 30 % incline. 🏋️♀️

When are You're going to have maxed out available
According to me dumbbell inclined press, dumbbell flat press and dumbbell fly- best 3 excercise
Agreed. Pullovers are not necessary what so ever. Just for the sake of making another video for more views.
Subbed! ✋🏻. Lezzgo!
Subbed 😊
Anybody know how many sets and reps to do of each thanks !
Great video on targeting different regions of the chest. Lying chest press with resistance bands or push ups with resistance bands can replace the dumbbell bench press by using heavier and heavier resistance.
Make on minimalist excercise for every body parts
Add sets and reps plz
