3:47 One of the many reason I like your channel and one of the VERY few I'll find time to watch as soon as you upload. Look at how his Dad starts the process. Then you come by and take over. Now I don't know the exact reason why you did or what y'all said but I like to think you said something like "Dad let me do it. You already put in your time, now let me put in mine." Even if that's not what was said or the reasoning, doesn't matter. You still took over and you're defiantly putting in your time. No doubt. One of the hardest working men in their 20s I've seen in a long while.
Very interesting. You have to be good at doing just about everything on a large, modern farm. You and your dad just take it in your stride. And we NEVER tire of seeing your fine cows. Keep em coming and God bless you all.
I love how you strive to keep your barns and surrounding areas so neat and clean. I have always thought that a good first impression makes a positive difference in everyone’s attitudes. And thank you for including Dutches in this video as you went about your work. I don’t know why. But she always makes me smile, and seems to add an interesting flare to your videos. Yes, your Eagles are having a good season. It always seems to make watching football more fun when your team is having a good year. Have a blessed rest of your week!
Your Farm/Dairy is looking Very nice, AAA !!! Duchess is so sweet, I can only imagine how great it is for you, to have you Dad working an teaching, learning experiencing your life on the Farm ! Thank You Eric for us along on your journey !!! GOD BLESS Y'ALL !!!
Cows can be so curious! You would think, for as small as your camera might be they would not notice it. But, they sure seem to notice it and have to check it out. Agreeing with others... your dog is so cute and fun to watch.
What a great farm dog in the making you have there with Dutchess. Such a cutie...and totally enamored with whatever is happening in the videos. What a great addition to the farm and family.
Eric , Dutch sure is growing. Thank for the info on how to get stuff off of your sales and yes it does cost more to ship it. Ditches thinks your digging up the bones he buried in the dirt. Here in Indiana it’s in the 30’s for the rest of this week possible chance of snow flurries. The new barn look really nice and well maintained . The farm is looking a lot better keep up the work love the video’s.
Finally shipping to canada Thank you very much Eric ! I have to say this is by far my favorite farming channel online period !! I appreciate your hard work< not just on the farm but for your efforts at producing these videos ! I have such a profound respect for all farmers because of your videos ! Again thanks for the shipping to Canada !
The barn is just about complete now, looks like the gates will help you a lot. The rain looks nice, we're going on over a month with no rain, the fall grass has just stalled. Thank goodness we had the late summer rains or we would be hurting for sure. Thanks for sharing, have a nice week.
Get yourself a set of levelling irons for ground work for bobcat will help the task alot better. And for winter prep a silage blade or plow make life easier. Maybe get both at a discount from same company. Or test drive something for winter for the bobcat or other tool. (66 looked guilty when putting the bar up like you knew she might of been pushing cows of the drink station lol.
I agree, a rain chain will work well for that section. Try and get a zinc plated one. Be sure to anchor it tight as you can. A 3 " lag bolt at the top drilled into the facia, years of use.
Think it will be to much water from that roof, he want it in the pipe in the ground or it will be all over the yard 😄 Maybe stick a fencepost in the ground and attach the spout to it 🙂
Great video I was always wondered what kind of metal that was the all your guys's stuff was made out of in there thank you so much for taking me along can't wait to see more of you guys's footage take care and God bless
You do wonderful work and I appreciate your time you take to film and edit your videos best regards from Ohio former dairy farmer so I relieve my life through your day to day life
Those isle scrapers are awesome! I'm interested to know if you have seen any differences in the cows such as hoof health, milk, utters, etc. I would think it would help with something other than just not having to walk in the manure as much. I love seeing people working smarter, not harder! Great job on the welding!
When I was a kid oh so many years ago we had a half Angus half Holstein cow. She was a perfect homestead cow! She gave a huge quantity of milk and gave us calves for finishing.
The barn looks awesome!! I’m sure you’ve already seen this, but the cow at 8:39 looks like she has a big knot on her belly. I don’t have cows, so it might not be anything but I wanted to let you know just in case! Have a great rest of your week!!! Much love from Oklahoma! 💗💗💗
Just an idea right where you showed it would be hard to touch a downspout from the rain gutter. You can put a post tall enough in that area and attach it to the Post instead of the building. And they also make those rain chains.
For the gutter, can you run a closed pipe from the old end under the new gutter to drain where the new one drains and then go down, that way it doesn't come straight down where you can't anchor it. Not sure what the other end looks like but alternatively, switch to the other end if possible. Just some thoughts. Love the videos, keep them coming! Take care.
Suggestion: Use a heavy chain to drain the water from the eavestrough, you can anchor into a block of concrete or a cinder block. I have seen it done on older buildings that didn't have anywhere to mount a downpipe to the wall.
Just ordered that new hoodie on bonfire to get it up here in Toronto Canada. It's nice to have a way to support the channel if you reside outside of the USA. Love the vids
That barn extension looks so good. Roomy stalls and handy functions. Its nice to get all the little leftover details finished up. Are you guys getting any of that cold weather where you are?
Jack russell's can be killers on chickens. They were bred to hunt rodents so do have keen hunting instincts. The extra height on that gate will help cut down a hormonal cows options. Corrugated iron... even the small bits can come in handy sometimes What about hanging chains down to direct the water flow?
Hey Eric, greetings from Germany I Saw a Nize Video about a bobcat skidloader, it is the only skid steer loader with two steering modes that can be switched at the touch of a button: All-wheel steering for smooth driving and normal skidsteering for maximum maneuverability. Its the Bobcat a770
Hi Eric and dad awesome video yes I always enjoyed your video always working you’re diary farm is awesome good seeing Megan she been working for you for awhile and as always you and you’re dad and families be safe 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Add a piece of chain with a bolt down to the pipe inside of it on the ground. The water will flow down the chain into the pipe and out like it use to when the pipe was there. Simple, cheap, affective and out of the way of the curtain.
Good luck with the merch going world wide, I'm sure it will sell well - many in many countries following your farming. (England). My own idiosyncratic pet hate is having words on my clothes, so I won't be buying - but its a rare condition.
Put a second post in just for a down spout! It would be worth it! Put it out from the building a little ways. That way it won't interfere with the curtain. My Uncle always said I. Came up with good ideas!
44 degrees... Is that just to keep the milk cold? Cause way down here in Florida we don't even get out of bed when it's 40 degrees. 🤣 Keep up the good work and the farm improvements are looking good! You should consider piping music in for the cows and see if it makes a difference in milk production. No, not heavy metal. I'm thinking like classical or easy listening, jazz, or something soothing.🤔
Hi, the Hoodie sweatshirts look warm. Can you describe the fabric content? Is it polyester, a blend, etc? (Affects shrinkage, warmth) 32° in Northern Texas this morning, could use one of those! Thanks.
Thanks for the video. I have not seen Cayce in video in a while. What is going on with him? I noticed your welding looks a lot better since I started watching you a long time ago.
Dutchess sure does love being a farm pup! She's happy three and she's so adorable.
Right!! I say the same thing every video lol she is a very good girl…checking out the chickens was very cute

Your barns are so clean. I love how open and light they are. Can definitely tell the cows are wonderfully cared for.
We can always count onv Eric to give us a super video. Love just watching the day to day chores on the farm. Thanks.
Everything is nice and neat. Love the new barn extension. Cows look really healthy. Great work Eric, Dad and Duchess.

Eric for the downspout that you can’t attach to the wall cuz of the curtains, hang a rain chain from it and let it dribble down the hill

Rain chain into a subgrade drain attached to the rest of your draining system.
That was a nice “thank you” for sweeping out our bunks at 7:47! Lol!
Great video I was always wondered what kind of metal that was the all your guys's stuff was made out of in there thank you so much for taking me along can't wait to see more of you guys's footage take care and God bless
0:38 thank you! Needed that laugh.
That Duchess looks like a great little dog, please keep her safe around the farm.
Glad your getting the barn project wrapped up.
I love how Duchess is always around making sure everything is being done properly :D
Holstein cattle are always aware of their surroundings, hence the cow checking out the video camera. Good lucking operation..
You do wonderful work and I appreciate your time you take to film and edit your videos best regards from Ohio former dairy farmer so I relieve my life through your day to day life

I love how curious the cows are. Love watching your videos and I always make sure I drink Clover Farms Milk.
Entertaining episode Eric. Your work smart not always so hard is paying off. Efficiency is key for sustainably. Duchess is a hoot.
Cheers 🇨🇦
good looking farmer welds...as my old man says (former rancher/dairy man) "jack of all trades master of none!"
I apprecate your compassion, for those of us ex-pat farmers overseas.
Looks good Eric and Dad!

Duchess is as nosy as your cows. lol. You and your dad have done a nice job with the barn extension. Stay safe.
Looks really good and the finished addition looks 👍👍👍👍👍👍 great
Looks like your floor cleaning robots are doing a good job!
Good video brings back memories of the dairy farm I grew up on in central NY
Nice to see how you and your father work together!

Hi Eric and dad awesome video yes I always enjoyed your video always working you’re diary farm is awesome good seeing Megan she been working for you for awhile and as always you and you’re dad and families be safe 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Rain chain would work great. We have them on our place.
Good one, rainy days and sunny days
Great update, every little bit makes a big difference 👍
Jack russels are great dogs. Hard working and extremely loyal.
Y'all do a great job on your farm
Always like the cows and the cleaning up videos
Go Birds & Go Phils!!
The new barn looks great.
Yay beanies are back. Ordering mine now!
Dude you deserve ALL the subscribers! Love your channel! Hope your dads shoulder is doing good! Keep up the good work!

You can use a 4” PVC pipe with a couple different fittings for the downspout and angle it where you want
31 last night here in North GA. Here comes old man winter.
Thanks for sharing your vid’s with us!
Good luck with the merch going world wide, I'm sure it will sell well - many in many countries following your farming. (England). My own idiosyncratic pet hate is having words on my clothes, so I won't be buying - but its a rare condition.
Very well done videos and I admire you a lot. Keep up the good work.
I completely get the next day Eagles nap. My Monday was also sleep deprived but also worth it!
Eric: Your vids make network TV boring! nice to watch hard working functional families succeed! Keep em coming, PLEASE!
I love Duchess. We have two terriers... I think they will get on fine with Duchess! LOL! You need to do Duchess Merch!
For the downspout, can you add a secondary non structural post to secure the downspout to?
Hi Eric great video
I love your farm it’s a great one
I’d really like to meet you guys some day and check out your farm
Looking soooooooooo good!!!
Use a thicker cord when having to go longer distance. It carries the amps better.
For the down spout put a 4x4 post two feet out from the building and run it down the list.
Great catchup video my dude. I also ordered an indigo hoodie via your link for the UK. Keep up the great work. 👍🏼
Another great video! Keep up the good work!
Always good to see you Eric! Thank you for taking the video, editing, and uploading for us to see! EMILY APPROVED VIDEO !!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Keep up working hard Eric and team!
Put a second post in just for a down spout! It would be worth it! Put it out from the building a little ways. That way it won't interfere with the curtain. My Uncle always said I. Came up with good ideas!
Water chain or similar off that old part of the gutter system instead of a traditional downspout?
LOVE ALL YOUR VIDEOS ERIC
Good evening, good work for you and more prosperity and progress in your future
Great video never get tired of watching
Another great video Eric.
Now, lets tear everything up and install robot milkers.
Your welding job looks good.
Good job man
That Barn looks good Eric
Another awesome video! Thank you!
Attach a treated 4x4 or 6 to the fascia board, bury the bottom end, then attach your pipe to the post
Hi, the Hoodie sweatshirts look warm. Can you describe the fabric content? Is it polyester, a blend, etc? (Affects shrinkage, warmth)
32° in Northern Texas this morning, could use one of those! Thanks.
You took into consideration what I said in a few videos back about the light 👌
I didn’t know that any US truck manufacturer still had crank down windows. THAT was a surprise!
Thanks for the video. I have not seen Cayce in video in a while. What is going on with him? I noticed your welding looks a lot better since I started watching you a long time ago.
Thank you for making the merch available for the rest of the world. Great content as always.
Love your work mate
