I have never even considered making my own crankbait and now I’m shopping for all the tools to do it!

This would have to be one of the most fulfilling things that you could ever do as an angler! Great job Ott, you’re way more patient then I am!

Very cool, enjoying watching the entire process. My wife said that you was making her nervous when your drilling out those holes for your line tie!🤣😂🤣

I picked this up during all the time home during the pandemic. It definitely gets addicting when you swim the first one. Glad to see you put these videos together.

If you want to be sure you are on center to drill for the weight, use an ice pick or something like it to start the hole and then use a drill with a pointed end. You can do the same for drilling the holes for the hooks. Works for me.

So much going into a crank bait
    Love the buoyancy test tank.
Top secret . I bought all your baits on line. But to watch you make em PRICELESS !!! You need to make for breast cancer ,and autism paint scheme. Just putting it on there
    That would be neat.

If you ever make it to Eastern Iowa, marling baits is my best friend. Let me know and we can head over to his shop and make a bait or ten..

I have a question does using putting cranks in water before having sealer on or having it painted put moisture into the wood and would have to wait a certain amount of time until it drys off or could it cause cracking issues or does it need to be in the water for a substantial amount of time to absorb the water.

Hi, I'm Adriano from Italy, I'm asking you if the wood you use is balsa or other type of wood. Thanks bye.

Ott, thanks for the video on making a crankbait. Lake Fork starts tomorrow but I believe you are group b so you start Sunday. I will be watching on live stream all week. Can you let us know where to get the items to build the crankbaits? 🐟🎣
