I just watched parts 1-4 videos, these were great! Very reminiscent to the other towns dotted along the Jersey Shoreline. My family lived north in Asbury Park/Longbranch. From the early days here well through the 1960s were the absolute best days of the Jersey Shore. I wish I could have seen it all myself.
They probably built these magnificent, multi-storey buildings with those huge stones they carried along on their horse carriages through the muddy streets. Right?

I was going to say the same thing. I just found this channel and I love it. But I'm with you, I would love to see any interior shots of these places and especially these large Hotels during these days.
@@jamesdoerr3005 That's amazing! So your family was there in person. I wish I could have seen the hotel in person. My fathers family lived more north up in Asbury Park/Longbranch area, but my father remembers as a kid visiting Atlantic City and vaguely remembers seeing both the Dennis, Marlboro-Blenheim and also the Traymore as huge and beautiful as they all were. The last time we visited New Jersey back in 2010, I myself cannot believe how bad and depressing these towns look.
@@jamesdoerr3005 So it was Bally's that now stands where the Marlboro-Blenheim was. And its still a large open, vacant piece of land where the Traymore stood since 1972. Just a total waste now as this city could be so much better than it is now!
@@starxlr7863 Well when the casino's came in they where doing a lot to rebuild the city.But then the state any Atlantic City Council started to screw it up.They tried to say half of the Blenheim but the contractor screwed that up.So it all had to come down.
These beaches are heavily segregated as you can see in the pictures of people swimming there are no black people amongst them the only blacks here are the ones who are acting as servants.
