Top qualities you must have to succeed in investing:
    1. An Edge (advantage). Investing is the most competitive endeavor in the world. If you don't have a clearly identifiable edge and learn how to exploit it, you will lose money to other more capable participants.
    2. Resilience. Markets are chaotic and an ability to survive and bounce back from adversity is required.
    3. Self honesty and an analytical mind. A lot of emotions and information will come at you pretty fast at different times while investing. You need to have the tools to sort things out and come up with accurate answers.
    4. You must enjoy the process of investing. Investing is like anything else: If you enjoy the day to day process of investing results will come easier. If you get into investing with only the end in mind your results will suffer.

Step 4, evaluate your position annually and when there are market changes. With this springs conditions, move a bunch of investments from 2% dividend growth to 24% dividend growth in a move to diversify. Diversified from tech into infrastructure. Oil pipelines had a great sale on dividend stocks in April resulting in high dividend yields. The price change she mentioned is completely true. Stock I bought at $5.15 per share is $9.45 today in only 6 weeks. FOMO and buying the top of a rising bubble is a bad idea. All are good advice. Reinvesting it true. Intel stock bought WES which bought DHT. Growth when reinvesting is awesome. Avoid zero sum game stocks which is why daytrading is very bad. Gambling against seasoned pros by newbies is where the pros take the money home in a zeros sum game. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zero-sum_game Day trading is not Dividend stocks. It is zero sum game, same as MLM and other pyramids. Only invest in companies paying profit sharing at good rates. Anything else is the Market Casino. Everyone is selling classes on how to win at slots, blackjack, roulette, and daytrading.

Start out small learn investing for a year. Don't listen to the expert recommendation. Listen to yourself. Don't buy any stock that is under 5 dollar because that is called penny stock. Penny stock are just pump and dump scheme. You need to be a visionary and also be a realistic person also. Take lost when you make mistake if you find a better buy to cover the lost. Don't trade on loan (margin) because if your stock take a dump you going to get a call to cover that loan. I am no expert but I did start when I was 18 now I'm 40 years old.

I have a burning question. If I want to place an extended-hours OCO trade (1 buy, 2 sells) on TOS, exactly how do I do that? During the trading day, I would make a buy of X amount of shares at market price with a TIF of DAY. I would also put in two sell orders, one limit order and one stop order, both with TIFs of GTC. If I made that trade during extended hours, would the parameters be different?

Good advice about checking out someone's free content to make sure their investing/trading style aligns with what you want to do before you buy any training courses. There are lots of trading courses being offered now but, if you are completely new, you don't know that there are many different things you can trade and many different ways to trade them. The people offering the courses don't always tell you that they only trade Forex, or stocks, or options, etc. Do some research and find out what you want to trade before you take a course.

In a Cash Account: can you buy and sell a stock the SAME day, as long as you have plenty of 'settled' cash sitting in the account, that is more than the amount of that trade. Or will you get a Violation? I understand it takes 2 days for cash to settle. In other words, to avoid Violations, don't buy and sell stocks the same day, in amounts, equal or more than what your total account balance(settled and clear) is..? Thanks for your time.

@@riqgeez1 honestly just spending as much time as I can watching UA-cam videos with people that have a lot of good information. Researching on Google, starting small and seeing what works and what doesn’t. The idea is to buy the roomer and sell the news, unless you are long holding. I am getting more comfortable with holding stuff a lot longer now, to many times in the past I’d panic sell and then if I would have waited a few weeks or a few months I wound have lost. Robinhood is a great app, it has all the basics, I also use Td Ameritrade but it’s more in depth. Honestly just study as much as you can. A lot of people expect big gains with little money, once you get comfortable really try to hold as many shares as you can, don’t buy high buy stocks that have dropped off and if you are already in a stock and it drops buy more to average down if you believe in the company.

Do you have any video or videos on Technical analysis. However, let me take this opportunity to say a story. As per daily morning report from broker a person brought few shares of an equity with buy above X with a stop loss of Y and target of T. So he adjusted his ttading portal accordingly. He was lucky thaf he could buy shares since the Trigger price clicked. Hiwever, before reaching the target the stock down trended and hit sell stop loss. But later that day, say after one and half hour the stick trended upward and actually reached beyond T. But in this case there was a huge loss for the person. So it is not always trend analysis in intra day trading.

Ok... so I know this is a dated video... but I just found you so.... I would really really like for you to do a play by play trade of options on Tradestation platform.
