"The soul of Alduin, firstborn of Akatosh, deserves recognition. We grant you Arvak, a loyal steed in life, and in death a mildly entertaining mouse, though the show grows old. You will have more use for it than Us." - The Ideal Masters - My take on using Arvak over Shadowmere. Pros - Looks cool - only horse that can be on Solstheim - Can be summoned at any time (136 magika tho, that stuff 'spensive!) Cons - Lower stamina / Can't run as long - Not immortal - TV Tropes having a field day Up to personal preference, but It's role-playable enough and a sick looking horse.
I had the same idea lol, an Altmer who was shunned and disowned for being incapable of magic. Because of his inability to wield magic on his own, he took to the magical sciences instead (alchemy and enchanting since I don't think they require your own magic to do) and expands his arsenal by collecting unique staves across Skyrim. On a side note he gets along well with Neloth because of their shared interests in staves and enchanting.
I played a Redguard like that in Morrowind. She was an enchantress/rogue who could only trap souls (only spell I cast, even though I knew far more), and used trinkets she crafted to fake it. Pretty fun playstyle, and I'd love to see a Skyrim version.
I literally just found this channel yesterday and I was taken a back by your in depth role play angle as I use Skyrim as a visual medium for stories that I right so im Alway trying to come up with various back stories but I must say the special abilities you create for each character is awesome
I'm only three minutes in but had to stop the video because I couldn't stop yelling about how AMAZING this backstory is. This is literally the ONLY channel that does not make me want to skip the backstory on any build. They're Just. Too. Good. This must be what a bedtime story feels like!
I like to roleplay the Bone Hawk Amulet as a Death Whistle in early levels. The Dismay shout would act as the whistle's scream. I wish the shout didn't have a cap, it would be super cool to keep using it.
More bosmer builds please. Maybe you can do a green knight? A bosmer raised in high rock. He could be a descendent of the Cameron, usurper and yearn to be a noble person. He can climb the steps of high hrothgar and by reading the plaques gain animal immunity.
Here i was looking for a build I could enjoy and you guys publish this video! Haven't completed the build yet (at level 20) but it's so damn fun! Thanks for the videos and builds ideas :)
Something I really love about these builds is that they tend to influence one another either with special moves, skills, role playing or just being in the background, It’s a nice shoutout to those that came before.
I just love what you guys are doing with these videos. I have been playing some of these builds. I only play legendary difficulty but with a few small tweaks they have all been viable. Keep it up. Creatively playing this game is why it’s still very much alive after all these years.
Very cool build, both in concept and in practice. If I end up trying it myself, I think I’ll change the race out for a hulking, darker-skinned Orc with the skull face-paint and black eyes, to really capture that reaper look. Also, Berserker Rage…
I would consider saving 1 or 2 points from the basic Stealth perk to flesh the Reaper out in more interesting ways. Let's remember: it's really easy to sneak, and sneaking trivializes many encounters. Although, since the Savage Reaper is basically the titular character of a Slasher film, it would make sense that he always shows out of nowhere to deliver a reaping axe to the neck.
Well, this isn't the kind of build I expected to include Call of Valor lol. Very cool stuff, though, definitely one of the most interesting Khajiit builds I've seen. The premise of the Void Nights and Ideal Masters not only has great aesthetic connotations, but also fitting because there are no moons in the Soul Cairn. Also, I appreciate the mounted combat tips.
Incredible backstory and aesthetic! I just found your channel and promptly binged all of your high quality videos. I just bought skyrim for the switch because my playstation broke, and I am so excited to get into some of these vanilla builds. I really appreciate the work you guys are doing; keep it up!!
The visual of this build alone is impressive. The look could easily lend itself to a Khajit Necromancer build. 🤔 So that’s my next play through. Great job on this build. Love the lore especially.
maybe next time a sort of Dawnguard Agent build? A stealthy way to kill vampires with a dagger? I played one once, woodelf using a dagger and bow , using also pickpocket and speech to acquire information. its a very fun playstyle.
This build is hella awesome lol 😂 definitely season four already seeming to be one of the most unique seasons to date lol 😂 like the first two builds are completely brand new and fresh looking I mean I never really hear about poison builds or horseback builds either like damn these give me an entire new perspective on the game I don’t think I’ve ever tried these play styles I can’t wait to now tho as these are going to be insane
I love you’re builds guys ♥️ You should make a character who uses the Blue Hood Bag, it’s on the 3 people in the abandoned shack when Astrid takes you in you’re sleep when killing Grelog the Kind, you could make someone who never shows his face and keeps it tightly around his neck and on his head, y’all definitely be able to find something to mix match with armours
Man, your production quality is high. I've been thinking of doing some Skyrim content myself and I am going to have to hustle to keep up. Its good though. No sense doing things half way. Also I think you missed a very important quest , the Black Star . This would fit the concept and RP perfectly and be super useful to a guy like this. As for mods, if you are on PC and want a solid fit try "Your soul is mine" Its allows you to spend soul gems to get soul points which when spent buff your character. Its a near 1-1 fit for getting powers from the Ideal Masters.
Love the channel, recently found it. I have made 1 or 2 of the builds (I have around 35 current characters I use!). I have also used a combination of mods on PS4 to create / customise some followers based on your builds for my existing characters. Thank you! Would you consider doing a season of characters where you feature user submitted creations? I have a few to submit to see if they make the grade and I'm sure many fans of this content have a few also... Either way, thanks for your great videos.
I have a character concept that I've used in my own playthrough. A loving really refer to her as the Reachman Queen. Adalicia was born to a Britain Noble visiting Markarth and a foresworn during the Markarth occupation. Despite how this may sound at first this was a loving relationship and that actually predated the occupation how they met is somewhat unimportant but I will let you decide. In my original playthrough this was a Noble Lord saved Savage girl from wild animal situation. During the occupation the two had their daughter born with azure blue eyes that neither one of her parents had (or purple with mods). When the stormcloaks attacked the foresworn parent was killed and the noble fled with their daughter eventually going to High Rock and settling into a house owned by a distant cousin. She became the handmaiden to the Lord's daughter and something of a first love to his son. Eventually however all good things come to an end when the family was targeted for death by the dark brotherhood in a single night every member of the family was wiped out during a house party she eventually managed to escape but only by breaking the leg of her best friend leaving her for the assassins. This eventually led to her fleeing East towards Skyrim. Now with live another Life you can have her start off in a forsworn encampment my logic being that they took her in after finding her damn near dead and she wanted to repay their kindness the other option is that the tribe were attempting to ambush a stormcloak patrol only for the imperials to get involved and it turning into a three-way shit show and her getting arrested and taken to the block. Now this character is very lawful neutral bordering on unlawful evil basically she has two goals give the reachmen a better life basically from her mother she learned a lot about alchemy and conjuration from her mother's journals as well as the forsworn and from her father she gained skill with a blade as well as a talent with a bow and stealth from hunting. So high skills should be conjuration alchemy, stealth, one-handed and light armor with archery being something of a fallback option. Her gear will eventually be the etherium crown, savior's hide, forsworn boots, gilded bracers. (wear forsworn bracers till then) Basically first class you're going to want her to do is cidna mine at which point you want her to side with the forsworn and free Madanach. At that point do some role-playing saying that the character marries him and at some point conceived the sun with him that she is hiding in High Rock for his own good. At which point you'll need to do I'll met my moonlight and legend of Red eagle almost immediately to claim Red eagle's bane and the savior's hide becoming hircines champion. At which point role play that madinoch is a shit husband and deal with him quietly role-playing that you tell the rest of the four sworn that a stormcloak did it. Okay so this character is fun because she doesn't necessarily hate nords just the storm cloaks and any nords that are intolerant to other races especially hers. Her quest line is to gain allies to eventually allow the Reachmen to create their own kingdom. So the college of winterhold, dawnguard, imperial side of the civil war quest line and dark brotherhood are the essential ones. She won't join the stormcloaks, companions or volkihar. While lycanthropy would make sense as she's a follower of hircine the companions are just Meathead nords and exactly the kind of people she dislikes at first glance. She hates the stormcloaks because of what they did to the Reachmen. And she hates the vampires because they're a threat to everyone in Skyrim including her people. She joins the dark brotherhood purely as a form of self-preservation. She is creating a kingdom that her son can rule one day and that will be much harder to do if there are powerful assassins like them that aren't on her side and she's seen how dangerous it is first hand to have them on your ass. Also eventually she'll get the quest to murder the emperor with that council member setting up the deal at that point roleplay that she is making some kind of play for provincialship as part of the payment for the emperor's death so yeah you got to let Motiare go. As for Cicero I'm going to leave that to you I let him live in my playthrough because my character is a queen bee and did not like Astrid talking shit and undermining her. Lastly have her make friends with the orcs early on. They are outcasts like the Reachmen so it's not a stretch that she would try to make an alliance with them I even had her marry Gorbash the Iron-Hand to play it off like a marriage alliance also he makes a really good follower for her.
Wow... and i barely finished creating my good version, a resto/alch palladin of the bog(remourse after destruction of mournhold rp) that falmer armour and hood on argonian, added the targe and falmer axe is finger licking good....but this ...so deliciously evil.. check out mod SWIFT, where you actually get a spell for absorbing souls from soulgems like eating them... so you can open portals for traveling.. and absorbing can have consequances, buffs i think... could be great for rp.
@@easternsheep6995 you mean in a sense that the souls are for the masters and not to be used up, except for example a few enchantments? Or what do you mean? You could always rp that you yourself are a kind of an infinite soul gem... and your parents got tricked by the masters couse the masters knew alredy that you are dragon born and a perfect absorbing vesel and take the story from there. Anyhoo... its all whatever tickles your fancy and makes it enjoyable.
@@troblodite It was the mod thing, the whole point is that these are completely vanilla because there is still so much you can do without modding the game. I've got nothing against mods of course, only that I can't use them so this channel sticking to vanilla is a true breath of fresh air
@@easternsheep6995 yes that is a super thing that they manage this and their rp potential is huuuge, me, i am a bit oldschool, i am from daggerfall times on my clunky 486 dx.. almost like a pentium 😂, and when oblivion introduced world leveling with player, that actually introduced me to modding. First mod i ever installed was slowing down leveling. So now.. i have a patato of a laptop, i still cant play without Requiem, which delevels the world. Why cant you install mods? If you can run skyrim you can install mods, more then half my mods out of like 80 are for squeezing out fps, and lowering graphics. Supposedly even xbox has some mods ? But not clued up on that.
what about a build that uses multiple followers: Main follower Cicero Dark Brotherhood Initiate Male Dark Brotherhood Initiate Female Brother Verulus (you cant then get Namiras Ring) Mercer Frey (you cant complete Thives Guild Questline) Maurice Jondrelle - (you cant complete his quest) Enmon - (you cant complete his quest) Barbas - (you cant complete his quest) Reverce-Pickpocket upgraded and Enchanted Weapons, Armor and Jewlery into them (Exept Barbas), along with staffes of summons & you will have 16 followers and summons to assist you in battle. 18 with your 2 summons. your own personal army. i hope someone can turn this into a build, mayby you can roleplay that the followers/army is you undead army. This Is NO Mod. 👍😀
I found your page and have watched every build. I love it! Currently playing the Whiteskull Warlock and really enjoying it. Quick question, I notice in this video you had the 2handed on your back while you were shooting with a bow. How did you do that?
My current character is very similar to this the son of a telvvani wizard brought back from the dead by a deal with ideal masters he craves power and sustains it by giving souls to the soul cairn
Excellent build, now how about tax collector riding a dragon build? Every human enemy you loot had an outstanding debt to Cyrodiil gvmt. Use Ice Form to freeze their assets.
This is definitely a different playstyle for a khajiit, normal khajiit builds are thief's or unarmed fighters, I got to try it, also do I need to make this build a vampire?
@@dvoloschik well there is a mod that makes vampire's more practical, ring of the cursed sun, can be crafted with 3 silver ingots, 1 vampire dust, and 1 blood potion, it negates the downsides of being in the sun
@@Skypothesis makes sense, also I did 2 things different for my playthrough, I used the mod amazing race tweaks khajiit, and I used a mod to get the summer set shadow hood and enchanted it with fortify archery, also vampires just suck
This is pretty close to a female orc I am playing right now. As much as possible I fight from horseback and if you practice hunting animals from horseback the archery isn't too bad. It helps if you find a troll, you can ride a little distance away and keep pelting them with arrows while they heal.
What about a Druid/ranger type build. Ex. Archery, light armor, restoration, illusion, alchemy, staves, lycanthropy etc. I was thinking that instead of killing animals you use illusion on them.
YOO lol my name reminds me of a build only skypothesis could figure out how to implement into vanilla Skyrim Y’all gotta make a Witcher build lol 😂 like true to geralt of rivia in the Witcher 3 wild hunt make it work with the elder scrolls world of course but the concept and ideas all from the Witcher games lol I’ve seen fudgemuppet try this before in the past but they aren’t skypothesis you guys can make it even better and without mods it’s basically a spell sword monster hunter with a fat twist lol you can even try to make the appearance of the build similar to the real geralt from the actual Witcher games lol 😂
Death rides a pale horse... Isn't there a white horse named frost? I know it's not invincible... It doesn't have the scary red eyes... But I'm just saying lol.

"The soul of Alduin, firstborn of Akatosh, deserves recognition. We grant you Arvak, a loyal steed in life, and in death a mildly entertaining mouse, though the show grows old. You will have more use for it than Us." - The Ideal Masters
- My take on using Arvak over Shadowmere.
Pros
- Looks cool
- only horse that can be on Solstheim
- Can be summoned at any time (136 magika tho, that stuff 'spensive!)
Cons
- Lower stamina / Can't run as long
- Not immortal
- TV Tropes having a field day
Up to personal preference, but It's role-playable enough and a sick looking horse.
Arvak is sweet! We tested both horses. Literally the only reason we chose Shadowmere is because we thought he matched the Savage Garb better haha

Lmao, I knew Skypothesis Build Universe was a good idea.
Just wait til the multiverse lolol
The backstory... Chefs Kiss
Guys, hats off for incorporating Savior's Hide. It looks awful on most characters, but somehow you managed to create an AWESOME combo. Amazing!
Ayy thanks! It totally looks awful almost all the time, so we're really happy we could put it to use haha
how about a failed mage, who can only use staffs and scrolls. btw great build

Hedge Mage, surely? I’ve played this before. Very fun.
I've never seen a mounted build. Gotta say this is amazing
Thanks so much! Horses can be clunky, but they're honestly super underused.

Lastly have her make friends with the orcs early on. They are outcasts like the Reachmen so it's not a stretch that she would try to make an alliance with them I even had her marry Gorbash the Iron-Hand to play it off like a marriage alliance also he makes a really good follower for her.
Now this is a savage build!
Wow... and i barely finished creating my good version, a resto/alch palladin of the bog(remourse after destruction of mournhold rp) that falmer armour and hood on argonian, added the targe and falmer axe is finger licking good....but this ...so deliciously evil.. check out mod SWIFT, where you actually get a spell for absorbing souls from soulgems like eating them... so you can open portals for traveling.. and absorbing can have consequances, buffs i think... could be great for rp.
Think you're kinda missing the point?
Looks like a great mod though, would recommend to those who don't like skyrims default fast-travel!
Thank you!!

It was the mod thing, the whole point is that these are completely vanilla because there is still so much you can do without modding the game.
But not clued up on that.
what about a build that uses multiple followers:
Main follower
Cicero
Dark Brotherhood Initiate Male
Dark Brotherhood Initiate Female
Brother Verulus (you cant then get Namiras Ring)
Mercer Frey (you cant complete Thives Guild Questline)
Maurice Jondrelle - (you cant complete his quest)
Enmon - (you cant complete his quest)
Barbas - (you cant complete his quest)
Reverce-Pickpocket upgraded and Enchanted Weapons, Armor and Jewlery into them (Exept Barbas), along with staffes of summons & you will have 16 followers and summons to assist you in battle.
There's a mod called Show Favourited Gear for that.
My current character is very similar to this the son of a telvvani wizard brought back from the dead by a deal with ideal masters he craves power and sustains it by giving souls to the soul cairn
That’s sweet!!
Question now that anniversary is out will headsman cleaver work instead of the axe.
This one is really cool
Excellent build, now how about tax collector riding a dragon build? Every human enemy you loot had an outstanding debt to Cyrodiil gvmt. Use Ice Form to freeze their assets.
Brilliant 😂
How to know if you're officially and formally "evil": If the Vigilants of Stendarr attack you on sight
4:34 is that the ghost of atmora?
I'd give this character a daedric bow instead of an imperial one.
Yes, just in time for dinner!
Hope it was yummy!
7:36 No spine at all.
We don’t love the way Khajiit vampires look, so we kept him on the Dawnguard side. That’s the only reason though!
@@Skypothesis makes sense, also I did 2 things different for my playthrough, I used the mod amazing race tweaks khajiit, and I used a mod to get the summer set shadow hood and enchanted it with fortify archery, also vampires just suck
Holy shit, Jafar build is connected to reaper build 😳😳. How come the reaper doesn’t use my boy Aardvark?
Haha Aardvark. Literally just because we thought Shadowmere looked better!
This is pretty close to a female orc I am playing right now. As much as possible I fight from horseback and if you practice hunting animals from horseback the archery isn't too bad. It helps if you find a troll, you can ride a little distance away and keep pelting them with arrows while they heal.
That’s super cool!!
Love it ;)
What about a Druid/ranger type build. Ex. Archery, light armor, restoration, illusion, alchemy, staves, lycanthropy etc. I was thinking that instead of killing animals you use illusion on them.
Something along those lines tomorrow 😄
I saw my fav. build GHOST. 😃...
Was that the ghost?
The Ghost of Atmora
It was their very first build
How do you guys recommend leveling for each build? Organically or seek or ways to fast boost the skills?
How do you go into the soul Cairn repeatedly without being a vampire. As my character hunts vampire souls I don’t want to become one.
How are you
Great! You? :D
@@Skypothesis I'm good
YOO lol my name reminds me of a build only skypothesis could figure out how to implement into vanilla Skyrim Y’all gotta make a Witcher build lol 😂 like true to geralt of rivia in the Witcher 3 wild hunt make it work with the elder scrolls world of course but the concept and ideas all from the Witcher games lol I’ve seen fudgemuppet try this before in the past but they aren’t skypothesis you guys can make it even better and without mods it’s basically a spell sword monster hunter with a fat twist lol you can even try to make the appearance of the build similar to the real geralt from the actual Witcher games lol 😂
Death rides a pale horse... Isn't there a white horse named frost? I know it's not invincible... It doesn't have the scary red eyes... But I'm just saying lol.
Ah yes "reapers"
What mod do you use for your character to carry all is weapons?
^^ :)
