- This is how I make rice. It came out well and nothing is better than freshly cooked rice in my opinion. I was wondering if there are people who never eat rice. I hope you enjoy the video :)

I love your choice of wood,, old pallets are a “Overlooked “ source of Firewood. They’re easy to come by and Normally Free,,,!!!! It’s funny,, I live in Virginia and I’ve been using that finger method for 30 years,,, Perfect Rice every time,,,!!!!
Hi from Arkansas USA. Just found your channel, and I love it! Keep up the great work, and I will definitely be watching more! You earned a new subscriber 😊
Just learned a new way to cook the rice from India. This method removes the starch and the grains become separate. Wash the rice to remove starch and drain water, two times. Then when cooking, the new ratio is 1 part rice to 5 parts water. Bring to a boil for 10 minutes and stir a couple times while boiling. Then drain excess water. This method removes starch and is better for diabetics.
great video! I learned how to make rice without rice cook now. haha
Good tip,thank you 👍
You’re welcome. Thank you for watching :)
You're so adorable. I like your videos and your cooking rocks.
Thank you! :)
Hi Mai! That rice made me so hungry 😋 I watched your video with Benji and told him stories of when you watched him when he was a baby. Your channel is doing great!!! 👋
Hi Patricia!! Thank you for watching my video! Awww little Benji! He must be grown up now👶🏻 I miss the times 😭 Please say hello to your family!
how many cups of rice did you put inside?
Hmm... I was just wondering what I would eat today and I think I got it. Rice and fish fingers. One of my favorite foods. Kiitos M.
Rice and fingers sounds delicious! I’m glad the video gave you an idea. Enjoy your meal :)
Any tips for someone who is looking to build their knife skills???
Nice video, any more comming?
チタンクッカーでご飯炊くのは難易度高いですよねー!
hi there.
It's very difficult to cook rice, we japanese know!lol.
Using a finger like this movie is the traditional way to measure the quantity of water!!!
And I love Bushbuddy Stove too.

Where can I get one of the steel strikers from? They are beautiful.
It’s hand made by my friend’s friend. I will ask him if he is selling it.
Use it for many years already on all my long-distance projects months in a row.
Used snow peak pots for many years but need new ones...what is the one you have??and does it fit another pot around it as I always use two.
Greetings from Holland
Mine is Toaks 1100ml. The lid doesn’t close completely but the stove fits perfectly. It won’t have enough space for another pot inside tho.
@@uemaisadventure I need a new one around my bushbuddy and the ones I want are not available...but I go for the 900.
What material is the pot?
Also, pls make video how to cook rice using that pot but using butane stove instead wood... ty
It’s titanium. I’ll try that in a future video! It’s actually easier to make rice with a gas stove since you can control the flame.
Do you use dryer lint as a fire starter?
Shawnna Mitchell Yes.
@@uemaisadventure thank you. I thought it was and have been saving it😊
It’s very useful and eco :)
Your spoon will pack way easier from now on. 😜👍
That’s a great way of thinking🙌🏼
Really a very nice video. You're very likeable too. I liked it and I hope many others will do the same. Stay healthy and keep up the good work. Best regards, Mati
Thank you so much!🙏🏼😌
Why did you buy a bushbuddy?
I was looking for a light weight and efficient stove. Bushbuddy fited my needs.
You've got skills, but not very scientific. Unknown rice amount, unknown water amount. Using you finger will vary the amount of water depending on the size of the pot.
What ever amount of rice you use put the water over it where it comes up to your finger line. It's not rocket science.
