    If I think about getting my front truck on first it makes it less scary and easier to put my weight right. i never actually get my front truck on first but thinking it works for me.

    frontside flips are one of the easiest tricks to me. my tip is to be already turning your board as much as it's possible before popping it. and kinda flip it in a backwards motion with the front foot obviously. props on the new trick man

    Love this type of content man, super motivating because anyone can go to the park and chase new tricks like this. You gotta do a part 3 and 4 until you get this trick on lock 🔒

    I'm sorry about your sister man. That's heart-crushing. Just take your time my dude. When you go through something like that, it takes time to grieve and shit. Take that shit day by day and that weight will fall right off you. You got this man! Also, your videos really help people man. I appreciate you. Thanks for making these!

    Sorry for your and family’s loss brother. That’s very sad news. As far as cutting goes. Get your skate session in the morning fasted. Try not to break your fast until 11am or Noon. Then just eat like 5 eggs. Buy quality ones if you can, even better if you can get from a local farmer. Then Family time, editing or whatever else you got. Then get your workout in during the afternoon. Have it set up at your house so you don’t have to travel anywhere save money. And spend more
    Time with your family. Kettle bells resistance bands gymnastics rings maybe a bench. That’s all you need dude. Gym membership is wasting your money. If anything use that money on a trainer. That’ll take you all the way through the afternoon and to dinner. Around 6pm. Eat a large healthy meal heavy protein (grass fed beef or quality chicken/fish and vegetables etc. you can eat a lot and still be at a caloric deficit. Pick one day out of the week to meal prep maybe Sunday or recovery day. You’ll lose a lot of weight with this method. And more importantly feel better and more energetic and your mind will be sharper. Two meals is more than enough dude. 3
    Meals is too much and it will slow you down especially if you choose the wrong foods. Train like an an athlete and you’ll lose a lot man. If you’re gonna buy supplements buy grass fed protein powders pop in two teaspoons of creative mix. Drink after dinner to fight off any cravings. And then get a nice greens supplement. Atheltic greens are good but it’s pricey there are better options you drink those first thing in the morning. Wait an hour before having your coffee or caffeine when you wake up. Get natural sunlight when possible as soon as you wake up. That was a tip I got from huberman- Nice KF 50 👍

    I actually really enjoyed this video a lot. When you posted part one I was curious if I could kickflip front 50 a little curb at Logan and I practiced kickfliping on the box first like you did in this video and then just fully commited and tried to land on the coping. After like 15min I got a really sketchy one but I honestly didnt want to try and get a clean one. Hyped that you got it. Sorry about your sister, may God bless you and your family. I hope you enjoyed your holiday.

    If I may, skate less socially. Don't explain every try. And laser focus on riding up to the ledge. Squat a little bit like a cheetah about to pounce maybe swerve the board around like you're sizing up that ledge lol be confident joe. You got this.

    U r starting at the same spot the Euro gap starts u could easily just aline urself with the ledge. And u won't have to have any kind of fronside pulling motion. Also u really arnt getting much rotation in air on ur frontside flips it's almost all pivot ur doing like a 20 then a 140 pivot.

    Joe , you need to start exercising and increase the amount of protein and reduce carbohydrates and make a calorie deficit . you will start to lose fat and retain muscle mass and it will be easier to ride. weight is good when muscles, but not when fat, you have a strong shortness of breath.

    • @haroldcampos9661
      @haroldcampos9661 10 місяців тому

      Some people just don't gain weight and some do. I don't eat almost any carbs and I still put on 20lbs since last year. I don't look heavier than normal but this is a more natural body weight range for me with no health issues, and only a minor inconvenience to athletic performance.
      This guy looks like he can put on muscle and keep it, but he also seems to have more dense bone structure than a slim svelte person. Even if he lost +30lbs. Joe will never be skinny enough to look skinny because his body type is heavy. I would just get over it. With all the skateboarding he does, he doesn't have a big gut that would keep him from jumping correctly.
      Maybe his joints will hurt, but overall skating gives you an imbalanced hip and gait (for me it manifested in my pushing foot femur socket years later) if you're not careful it can affect anybody. Musculo-skeletal injuries do come from repetitive movements and his weight may be a factor, but as long a he's aware of that and doesn't stay on one taxing trick for too long, he can mostly avoid long term damage imo.
      They say the buddha starved for years trying to reach enlightenment until a child offered him a bowl of food, and ever since he just got fat and was happy lol.

      @@Dontbustthecrustdid you say something?
      (I don't think it's bs. This guy just looks heavy by default)
      I've skated with a few twigs in my day, joe isn't one of 'em.

    • @Dontbustthecrust
      @Dontbustthecrust 10 місяців тому +1

      @@haroldcampos9661weight gain/loss happens when eating in a caloric surplus/deficit. It's that simple. If you, Joe or anyone else got leaner, you'd skate better and safer. It's that simple.

    • @haroldcampos9661
      @haroldcampos9661 10 місяців тому

      That may be true, but I've never really been lean though. My diet is only part of the reason. The rest is also genetics. I have a brother who's leaner. The food he craves is different than me, but his eatting habits are normal though. He's never gained, while I had to make myself skinny many times. Joe doesn't look too heavy but he's wider-set. That means probably a bit heavier hip, and shoulders at least... but a 6'4 240lb skater has to contend with a way higher mass of gravity and maybe a different distribution of joint strength. His knees are gonna hurt too, he's gonna roll his ankle the same or worse...
      There's probably a genetic reason joe is built like that... short guys can be quite strong and more genetically balanced than one might think. As in the men in his family are built like that but he could have a tall ass daughter for instance. I'm not defending not doing excercise but it's not a necessity to skate in most cases. OP is a bit biased because he is a bodybuilder or something judging from his thumbnail. He could save his knees from stronger legs? Yeah sure, partly true. Partly untrue. He might jump higher and be able to land better. But tendons, recruitment bands, ligaments, joints all of that is part of the equation. And weight is weight. It's just so different on everybody that it's not worth looking at most times. I endorse lower back excercises too because skating reverses most of the work I do in that area lol.@@Dontbustthecrust

    i cant do this trick by any means but to me it looks like you arent opening up your shoulders enough, if you open up more your legs will follow. in theory lol

  • @mitch.w
    @mitch.w 10 місяців тому

    Il re say what someone else said for fs flips just kicklfip while opening ur shoulders for the front 180 it all justbhappens pretty naturally. That whole fs shuv 180 and kickflip is whack, i always got taught just think of doing a 90 degree kickflip catch and bring it around when u open ur shoulders it make atgat first 90 happen by itslef anf the 90 u put effort in is the last bit of the 180. Dont over complicate tricks
