I remember the Kyoto map from TH's American Wasteland and how amazing it was. Nostalgia, much? I was so close to visiting and working in Japan at one point. I'm a Motion Capture performer and in late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the facial likeness role of Leon for the Resident Evil 2 Remake. I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part and I can't forgive myself for wasting such an opportunity. That would've been a real dream come true to visit South East Asia. Great video.
@@sootytern I was only considered for the facial likeness for Leon, the part that eventually went to a Romanian male model Eduard Badalauta. Maybe if I mentioned that I had also a voice acting experience, that would've given me an upper hand.

I love the way Japan has embraced skating culture. Shit when I was a kid I couldn't even skate the local super market car parks without security guards booting us all out. What a difference 20 or 30 years makes. Nike where were you when all the old skaters needed endorsements and support though? Little late to the party, and a lot of pro skaters of the past don't have 2 dimes to run together really and well they deserved better, at the very least you should offer old pros some medical insurance to help cover their injuries that would be the right thing to do.
@@jct903 Never supported Nike as a skate company and I won't do it now because they never helped anyone out in my youth and to be honest they make terrible skate shoes anyways. Most do now, DC used to make great skate shoes but the stuff they turn out now wouldn't protect your feet from impact off 2 stairs let alone a dozen. Etnies always made decent shoes.

Nike jumped in when there was money to be made. They'll be out when it dries up. Support skater-owned companies such as Lakai or Etnies.
