Which means that they cannot survive a good fight dealt from a large xenomorph hive, they could take out a few or more, but they’ll die quickly. Shown in AvP. (2004.) Also, hence the fact that the predator kills off its prey one by one. Not many at a time. Xenomorphs, on the other hand, can wipe out a clan of yautja depending how many numbers the hive has, a hive is usually crawling with countless xenomorphs. In some ways, the xenomorph proves to be superior, in other ways, the yautja can be superior. Making them an interesting enemy. I love them both anyways, Alien / Predator reflected on my childhood. :)
If equipped properly and if they are well experienced they can be. Those 3 in AvP were after all just Youngbloods in a rite of passage that went horribly wrong. But a fascinating view none the less.

And there was a Praetorian at the time, meaning that it could’ve summoned more xenomorphs to the battle with its shriek.
I meant in the film, not the game. Though to be fair, they may have perished in the end, but they still took every last one of those serpents with them.

Admittedly. I'm not certain. No, I'm not one of those guys who hates everything Disney because of (insert Last Jedi, Live Action Remakes, etc). And I know for a fact that they would not be stupid enough to take this series and make it child friendly. They would distribute it through Fox. Like they do with Touchstone. Sure, people have some reasonable concerns. I do too. But what I say is how much worse can it get? Because let's be honest and realistic here. Alien and Predator haven't been handled with grace theatrically since 1993. I'm not a hater. I like all of these films that I'm about to list. Some of which I consider my favorites. But Alien 3, Alien Resurrection, both AvP's, Alien Covenant and The Predator. Even to certain degree's Predators and Prometheus. They might have had minimal or regular success at the box office, but all have ABYSMAL ratings among critics and ESPECIALLY fans. Some going so far as to list them as the worst in the series if not the worst movies of all time. And this was all UNDER 20th Century Fox's creative control. I kind of view it the same way with Star Wars. I only truly became a fan of the series around 7 years ago. And everyone says the Sequels are the worst. Where I personally think the Prequels are the worst. Maybe excluding ROTS. So to conclude. I don't think the series is doomed. But I'm not going to be overly excited for anything in the future. I already made that mistake with Covenant and The Predator.
