  • Have you ever wondered what energy means to humanity in a more philosophical sense? How did energy production and usage change throughout history? And what can we learn about energy from philosophy and history to improve our relationship with energy today? Join us to explore these intriguing questions.
Hear more from our guest speaker, Marco Montefiori, founder and president of the INSEAD Energy Club in Switzerland and global energy trader. Tune into the ‘Energy Citizenship: from Personal Energy Footprint to Transforming the Energy Landscape’ webinar hosted by Maria Stepanova, NEAH expert.
This discussion turned to be thought-provoking, with Marco sharing ideas expressed in his new book “Energy Citizenship”, and answering Maria’s questions:
What is energy to humans, beyond energy bills, and how has this relationship evolved?
How is the development of our civilization linked to energy transitions and the use of energy?
What is the role of energy efficiency, and how to improve it in the energy system of the future?
Should we use energy as a more appropriate unit of measurement than money?
How does the energy transition depend on each of us daily in our decisions?
