She's exquisite to look at from her lines, feet, extensions, arms and her artistry!!. She reminds me of Sylvie Guilleme and the way she brings such emotion to her every move and role. She's one of the greats❤❤❤❤
Absolutely beautiful, her lines are just stunning. Also, I'm a dancer, and I have to say how she held onto those Italian fouettés after getting one off balance is incredibly impressive. Alot if not most dancers would have fallen out of that.
For me, among many exceptional merits of Ms. Lacarra as Ballerina Assoluta, her inherent musicality touches the deepest. Lacarra is a live Music in flesh!
Your head is high - - chin is lifted - - neck is long - - shoulders are down and back - - and then you connect to the music and steps - - in the way most natural for you. It's food for thought - - whether she doesn't have artistry - - or if she's not expressive enough. Lucia Lacarra performed quite beautifully - - that's just my opinion. Thank you @ DanceLine Ballet for sharing.
To @ Dilva Riccio - - I agree with you - - Lucia Lacarra is such a gorgeous and a sublime dancer - - both in classical ballet - - as well as neo-classical and contemporary modern dance. Tho she says - - she prefers contemporary modern dance better. I like her "Italian Fouettés" at @ 4:47 and I think - - the music is from - - Diana Y Actaeon Variation.
Sad when comments can be negative , walk a mile in their shoes . Notice how true pros aren’t commenting or lived the life , an artist grows and gives always x sadly opinions from all walks of life are there and given . Cant we just enjoy amazing work when we see it jeez put your shoes on and pirouette down the shopping aisle . Beautiful port de bras and musicality shown and appreciated 😉
Ben Stevenson's 3 preludes (Rachmaninov showing his deep and sensitive side in the first of the preludes the Lento in B minor), the whole is just stunning!
Nowadays the tendency is to consider a ballerina as fantastic when she’s only a good gymnast able to lift her legs to the sky. I think The quality of a dancer is both his/her technique but also his/her interpretation and emotional expression. Maria Callas was great precisely because she had both.
I agree. Companies promote dancers based mainly on technique and build. Though I would certainly see gymnastics rather than ballet without artistry. Still, there are many dancers today with artistry.

Splendida danzatrice sia nel classico di repertorio che nel neoclassico

Light Rain
@@beatiroide Thank You
1:44 What is that beautiful dance piece called?
“Light Rain”, chor. Gerald Arpino, music by Doug Adams
人ってこんな柔らかくなれるの😲
Who’s the dancer who does the pas de deux at the barre and in Swan Lake?
Marlon Dino, I think
@@beatiroide Oh yes, her husband. Thank you. 😊
I don't get people who says that ballet si "dangerous", it's ART, (maybe people don't get that we don't start ballet classes using pointe shoes
I would love to know the name of the ballet and the music @4:00

A beautiful dancer...but need face
A contortionist
She’s a good technician but with no emotion. 😐

Not at all. She's more expressive than Zakharova, Khoreva an Guillem together.
@@chimalmadanza8548 I’m sorry but I don’t agree with you. Guillem is much more expressive.
@@catherinecozzano2580 I respect your point of view. I think Sylvie doesn't become the character, she makes the character becomes herself.
