i've already started working on task 13 so it won't be long until you get another video! ;) also i just recognized your name! so happy to see you here!
Hi, host of the comp here! It is called a blooper feather because the code for the « feather » replaces the blooper. We could have used a custom item texture so it appeared as a real feather, but that would have been too much of a hassle for nothing. So to answer your question, there is no ink, the code just happened to replace the blooper item and behave like the mk8d feather. Then we also used « have blooper in timetrial code ».
hello good evening everyone I have some questions to ask you because I would like to learn TAS but I don't know anything: - should you play on an emulator or directly on the Wii? - how do we create a TAS? - how does TAS work and what techniques are used? thank you for taking your time to help me NightsMKW
Hello! TASes are made on an emulator. It requires the emulator called Dolphin. Some TASers use a custom version of Dolphin called LUA Core. It adds the possibility to use scripts (most of the startslides seen in the video use a script - a startslide is the movement you see during the countdown). Finally TASes are made using save states, slow down and much more which can all be accomplished with Dolphin Emulator's tools. If you have any more questions, consider joining the Mario Kart Wii TAS Server for more help. I will add a link in this videos description for you to check out (if I am able to).
I have added the link at the top of the description. Make sure to join soon because the link will expire in a week. EDIT: CampbellMop helped me with making a non-expiring link, so you don't have to worry about that now
Ellucinea actually destroying the competition 💀
What’s even crazier is that Ellucinea only started TASsing in October of last year. Such an insane Prodigy
i tryharded :0
my 🐐
You just know first place is gonna do something rediculous if Police gets second
kai really went full freerun mode after lap 1 💀
My pick for winner of the unofficial Style category: LirWm, for using the Mii, and the cheeky little backflip over the stands afterwards.
YIPPEE (I would’ve gotten 4th if I didn’t use mii)
no way marvus' barrel roll end cut doesnt win this
@@ellucinea A strong contender, since it was during the run, and I also liked Aylx' visit to the yacht, but LirWm still gets my vote.
1:13 flashbacks😱
Looks like everyone had a lot of fun playing around with the feathers lol
idk how y'all do it but gg and ts amazes me that has never touch mk in like years.
I swear the PTSD from that shortcut jumpscare will never leave me lmao
KaiMK wins in my heart for using Baby Luigi
glad to be within a second of police 😃😃

Gaberboo is starting to seem like the regular Task version of Citrinitas if you know what I am saying.
🎉
"Blooper feathers?" Were the player's screens getting covered with ink by the feathers and that just didn't show up in the ghosts?

@@TASmarvus Why not use a non expiring link lol
@campbellblock3061 idk where to find it or make one. Also I don't think it'll take this person a whole week to join so I don't see the point.
Bismuth has a video that explains what a TAS is you can go watch that. Look up "bismuth tas explained".
