      Hi there,
How are you both? If you do not mind me sharing; a well-planned, organic and unrefined plant-based diet (consuming edible raw plant foods where possible so as not to denature or destroy the life-forces and enzymatic activities beneficial to the human system. If disagreeing on this matter, please try planting some steamed carrots and see if they will grow; if they fail to, it is because they are 'dead' plant food that cannot fully nourish one's 'living' cells) consisting of organic fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts, seeds and whole grains is the best diet to provide mankind with ultimate health and longevity. These foods, fresh and grown in rich soil, are found all the essential vitamins, calcium, carbohydrates, fats, fibre, minerals, protein and water needed to make good blood and enjoy health.
Please avoid meat alternatives that contain harmful preservatives and additives e.g vinegar, a corrosive agent. Food toxicity and nutrient deficiency (e.g white bread, white rice and white sugar) are a deadly combination as one is hindering the body's building materials needed to action healing whilst at the same time taxing the system with more toxic things, thus bringing about disease and possibly even an early death.

Helpful hint for you 2. When eating dry noodles or rice plates you get a side of soup. The side soup is like a chaser after every bit of the dry noodles or rice. It helps wash down the dry stuff and get your tummy to digest the protein easier. The major difference in Vietnamese cuisine is herbs. The herbs add an extra layer of flavor and have a lot of natural vitamins, minerals and healthy benefits to the body. I can sit a write about why I think Vietnamese cuisine is one of the best healthy food with different texture and layers of flavor profiles. So next time make sure you add the fresh herbs, greens and veggies. If you are unsure of how to eat a dish just don't be shy to ask the server or another local next to you. Glad you step out of your comfort zone and tried dishes you never would have. Hope you enjoy your time in Vietnam. Best wishes and good health to you 2.

A nice big FAT thumbs up for willing to try the sandworm and the snail noodle dish. The crab vermicelli noodle is another unique dish that we normally don't hear about unless you really follow VN videos. VN cuisine is way more diverse than we think isn't it?

Love how you guys tried things other foreigners wouldn't even ponder. I heard the sandworms are actually good because of all the herbs and such used to make the "pancakes". And snails are not for everyone due to the texture, so I was surprised you guys like 'em. Next time, consider a food tour as Hanoi has great tour guides that can show you all the different foods, tell you the history, explain the culture, etc.

You’re pissed off because I’m stating the truth?
Vietnam will remain a third world slum country for generations to come because of the slum and corrupt mindset like you.
And over 70% of the overseas Vietnamese are still embedded with the same slum mentality, so they commit all kinds of crimes, especially those who live in Southern California.

Stating the truth is time well spent.
