I don't remember which Wagner I mentioned in this video, but the one that sold was a PSA 2. Totally insane they're going for that much. I remember about 10 years ago wondering if I could take out a mortgage on one and just sit on it, since they seem to simply go up every single time one is sold.

I know those Cobb’s are wonderful but the guy was such a dick that I would sell them towards a nicer 52 Mantle. It couldn’t be worse than a lateral move I don’t think. Great cards as always.

while my understanding is that a lot of the stories about Cobb's violence and racism were fictitious and have been disproven/discredited, that has been his reputation for a long time and I can't see it going away - and the way the world is progressing, it surely has to affect his card values more and more over time as long as the reputation exists, unless there is some weird niche of alt-right collectors who will specifically covet his cards to "own the libs" or something
