Love these songs
To remember all those dates of the concerts you saw 40+ years ago is incredible. Great records and great bands.
thanks Joe, I am happy I still have lots of memories...take care my friend...;)
It’s amazing how you associate so much music with so many memories. I do that as well and also collect. Really enjoyed this video, as well as your stories behind the records. Some great albums there!
Thanks for tuning in Alec, yes music always brings back so many memories for sure. Glad you liked my video, take care my friend...:)
I chose this over the eating, any day of the week and twice on sunday!!! Great job my guy!
Thank you my friend and I am glad you are happy with your choice...have an amazing day....:)
This is such a great video. You and I are kindred spirits in the world of music, sir. I was born in the late 70s, so unfortunately I missed out on all the good stuff live in concert. 99% of the albums you referenced were right up my alley. Rush (and yes, Neil Peart was IMHO the best drummer (and he wrote MOST of their songs, too!!!) in the world RIP), Floyd, ELO, Steely Dan...You have such great taste. I KNEW there was a reason I was drawn to your videos! You're awesome, man. Keep on making great stuff! Will watch every day!
Wow, that is a mouthful of compliments, thank you very much L_Cash, those are more kind words than I deserve but I thank you for tuning in my friend....:)
Great vid! Always enjoy your vids and you have a fantastic memory when it comes to details.
Glad you enjoy it Coolguy5150....I like detail, to me that is important...stay amazing my friend...;)
So happy I found this channel!
Likewise my dear friend, I am so glad to have you as a viewer...stay cool...;)
Started listening to all this stuff- such a great taste in music!
thank you my friend..;)
Amazing video! I also love most of the records you mentioned in the video and will check out those I haven't listened to.
Hi Konrad, most of my records are "old School" but I am sure you may enjoy some of them...thanks for tuning in and for the comments...:)
Aja is one of my all time favorites. Really love your videos!
I never get tired of listening to Deacon Blues, take care Matthew Newtson....:)
Underrated ASMRtist
thank you Paulino, very nice of you to say so...I also subbed to your channel....;)
Nice video. I think it's safe to say that you're doing great with this ASMR path. Good job, man. 👍
well thank you very much Pezz from your newest sub...;)
You’re such a positive fascinating guy! Amazing content 💪🏼
thats quite a compliment Ben, thanks a bunch from your latest subscriber....:)
I love your videos man keep it up
thanks very much mateo, I appreciate your kind words....:)
Such an amazing collection, thank you! ❤
You're so welcome Jackie and thanks for tuning in...:)
I was very fortunate to meet RUSH when I was around 15 years old during their Snakes And Arrows Tour. We were friends with their sound engineer. He took us back stage and on stage. Stood behind Neil Pearts drum kit and shook his hand. He’s the reason why I play drums. Still my favorite band today. Extremely nice guys.
Hey Randy, you are one lucky guy, I would love to have been in your shoes back then. I think Neil may be the reason a lot of people play drums....then again after hearing him play he would have most seasoned drummers scurrying for their practice pads....great to hear from you and thanks for tuning in....:)
23:38 - You apologized for the background noise. I know you want the best audio possible, and as an engineer, it must drive you nuts to have sounds you didn't create as part of your art. When I "watch" your vids, I have headphones and closed eyrs. It's such a rich tapestry of sonic color to hear the intended sound AND the context in which it was made. It's all a real slice of life. It's makes the sound so intimate and really draws me in. Keep it real, my brother. Lean into the chaos.
Hey thanks Bill, nothing like a little back ground noise to add realism and ambiance to a video. I worry sometimes that it may snap a person back to reality, especially iof a loud motorcycle goes by. Thanks for your support and for sharing your comments, have a great day my friend.......;)
This was a good one! My only asmr subscription. I never had interest in people doing asmr with goofy stuff. Always liked the unintentional videos. These are good to me cuz they’re natural. Keep it up 👍
Awesome! Thank you David, very kind of you my friend....I also subbed...;)
Pink floyd are my favourite band, love the shirt. Your in good company
I have been a fan forever, thanks for tuning in my friend...;)
I like your music commentary content. I am a big music fan and without it, this all would be meaningless.
thank you Pablo...;)
Mercury Blues by El Rayo-X. The best version of that song ever.
Yes I love it, love the percussion in that version....thanks for tuning in....;)
Well I have to tell you… I enjoyed this video!! All of those bands I listen to and liked everything you had to say about those records. A couple of them I did not listen to but the majority I did. Also I have to tell you, you have a true gift everything you talk about you make it sound so interesting. You could talk about a ham sandwich for 45 minutes and I would be glued to your video!! You did this one exceptionally well and when I saw this video was not going to be released for a couple of weeks I was so anxious to watch it…And you definitely delivered. Also I do play drums..in a earlier video you talked about you are a drummer as well. We have a lot in common And I sure enjoy your conversations. Not sure how long you’ve been doing ASMR but I subscribed to your channel after the first video I saw A couple weeks ago. Keep up the good work and I’m looking forward to upcoming videos!!
that is a real true compliment Brian, thank you very much my friend....and thanks for your continued support...:)
All your content is excellent Mark, but I find myself repeatedly coming back to this particular video. Any chance you’d show us more of your record collection in the future? Would also love to hear more about your time playing in that reggae band in the 80s!
I would love to do that, most of my records are vinyl and quite old. I was thinking of doing a video on some of the bands I played in including the reggae band. I thank you for tuning in my friend, and I appreciate your suggestion...take care...:)
I collect vinyl and must say, you have fabulous taste! New subscriber here 😌
thanks Shanny, I subbed to your channel as well...have an awesome 2023 my friend....:)
Mr. Mark, I painted Mr. peart’s drum sets. Vapor trails red flake, Time Machine, snakes and arrows, R30 kit, and the last R-40. We were good friends. I miss him. 😢🙏
Wow, thats impressive to say the least....clearly you are very talented and fortunate to have known such an amazing person as The Professor....thanks for your comments and for tuning in....:)
I think Moving Pictures and Signals are my two favourite Rush records. RIP to Neil Peart. Best drummer ever, and a man befallen by more than one tragedy before his death. He was also responsible for pretty much all of Rush's lyrics. What a guy.
Hi Dean4471, I could not agree more with your comments. Neil was taken much too soon....thanks for tuning in...;)
@@auralfixatedasmr8647 your welcome. Glad I discovered your channel. I see you subscribed to mine also. It's good if you want a laugh, I suppose 😆.
Also, if you enjoy prog rock, there are some really good modern bands. I strongly recommend the band Porcupine Tree. Even better is the lead singer's solo stuff. He's called Steven Wilson.
I am only 22 and I bought my first vinyl which is “and I return to nothingness by Lorna shore” and I absolutely am in love. I like cds but I appreciate vinyls more. Nevertheless, lovely video! Your videos are very relaxing 😎
Rock on Subie, that is very cool...thanks for the comment and for watching...;)
I literally went to a Tom tribute concert a couple of days ago here in wellington New Zealand and they played damn the torpedoes in its entirety, bloody stellar!
thats awesome, some tribute bands are as good as the real deal or in some cases better...thanks for tuning in my friend..:)
Loved this one
thank you Bob...:)
David Lindley was also a huge part of Jackson Browne’s “Running On Empty” record & tour.
Hey thats cool, thanks for this...have a great week my friend..:)
My favorite track on Blood on the Tracks is Idiot Wind. What a great record.
I agree my friend, thanks for tuning in...:)
Huge vinyl and record player/audio equipment junkie here. Would love to see your setup for listening!
hello TNGBRKFST, hard to imagine but I no longer own a turntable. I still have my Pioneer HPM 100's that I bought in 1977 and they still sound great. I bought a Pioneer Turntable and 100 watt Pioneer amp at the same time but the amp and turntable are long gone. I now have a Yamaha 5-1 amp and Energy speakers that I use in conjunction with my HPMs....I keep thinking I need to buy a turntable with a USB. I get most of my music on Spotify.....I keep all my vinyl records coz they mean a lot to me....thanks for tuning in my friend...:)
Regardless my friend, excellent video and quality records you have. Keep up the great work
Love the shirt 😎
thanks, I scooped that at their 94 concert....;)
@@auralfixatedasmr8647 ayeee boss status 🔥 📛

So glad you did Slooed, always nice to hear from you....:)
I would love to see a video where you drink coffee/milk/tea whatever you prefer and eat some cookies and talk about anything or read something that would be lovely
Edit: Also, I love your hats they look awesome on you
thank you Tina for the suggestion, that is a good idea and one I am going to do in the near future...thanks for watching, much appreciated...:)
And put these videos in playlist
I did Cindy...:)
Really good quality here, I can hear the wisps leaving your lips for a good portion of the video.
thank you EOIC, thats a great compliment...;)
Hi Mark, I love you channel.
Not sure how much of this is something you’ve done, or UA-cam.
But this video had 6 adverts in the middle. Not at the start or the end.
They are really jarring with ASMR. Would it be possible for you to put them only at the start?
Thanks 😊 keep up the great work!
I hear ya Kyle, that would be enough to spoil any video...thanks for the heads up my friend...;)
can you do more vinyl collection videos please
I plan to Dibbo 92...I also plan to subscribe to your channel...thanks for tuning in my friend..:)
Please do a part 2!
thank you Mace I am planning one as I write this...glad you enjoyed it...I also subbed to your channel...:)

April 16 welcome Aries I knew I liked you
Always a pleasure to meet another Aries Angel...thanks for your on going support, means a lot....;)
Any thoughts on James Taylor? Love your videos
hello drew, my older sister bought "Sweet Baby James" when I was in about grade 8, guess that would have been early seventies....loved the record. I always loved James Taylors guitar playing and his voice is unmistakable. I always had the impression he was a very spiritual man. Thanks for your comments and for tuning in...have a great day my friend...:)
I would consider checking out Gary Wilson, very experimental but he’s a genius! Also I heard alot of Cindy and Linda being named here which kind of reminded of his catchphrase haha.
I will check out Gary Wilson for sure Sightz, thanks for tining in....;)
love it btw im imyourguy69 love you man
Thanks so much for tuning in..:)
Video Audio quality is vastly improved!!
thanks Ky, thats good to hear....you made my day...;)
