Great tutorial! I have done method 1 and 2, but not 3. I have oversized the blocks for the first 2 methods and trimmed with great success. But, I am going to have to invest in the Lock Bloc Flying geese rulers because that is a game changer for accurate cutting.
It's a new pattern I'm designing! It's almost finished, but hasn't been quilted yet. It will eventually be a Joyful and Merry Quilting Course! Thank you Nancy!

I’ve never tried the paper piecing but you’ve made it look so easy. I might have to give it a try!

Thank you. I've only tried flying geese once....didnt work very well. Your tutorial has made thing so much clearer.
I'm so glad! Let me know if you have any questions!
I like the first method best. I always see a second line 1/2 inch to the outside of the main seam. Easy HSTs for another project🙂
Thanks for watching!
Always learn something new from your videos, thank you for sharing. What is the quilt pattern name that is your backdrop on this video?
It's a new pattern I'm designing! It's almost finished, but hasn't been quilted yet. It will eventually be a Joyful and Merry Quilting Course! Thank you Nancy!
What is the quilt pattern behind you? I love it!
Thank you Donna! It's just a top - and it's a new pattern for a course that is not quite finished yet! Stay tuned!
Why not start with a center square that is the ice you need instead of wasting so much fabric by cutting the corners?
Thanks for the suggestion!
Love your videos!
Thank you so much Paula!!
