I'm over here trying to work up the courage to recover two armed dining chairs and watching this Lord of Upholstery Fabric Magician Extraordinaire work absolute magic on this wingback has utterly intimidated me! lol! It's friggin' beautiful and I am way out of my depths here! 🤣
Great video! I thought I might attempt to recover my four chairs myself.... lol nope! Now I need to find a good reupholster guy in my area. Thanks for sharing your talent with the world. It was fascinating to watch.
Are you using a brad nailer (gauge) for the front panels? Excellent video, would like to see more showing insight and complete process like this...thanks
You're gonna have to stay off the helium!! Love watching you work. So satisfying. So much more to it than meets the eye on the finished product. That cut or break by the arm looks much better, without it was a bit billowy. That is beautiful.

I have a chair that I've been wanting to reupholster. It didn't cost much so I'm gonna give it a go. Thanks for the video.
One just came in the shop today.
Seat cushion comes out.
Springs busted out the bottom.
The client said it’s a keeper.
Just part of the process.
