I just finished upholstering a full-sized chair for the first time and am greatly pleased with the results. Without your tutorials, I know the end results would have been much different. I've developed a love for this. I greatly enjoy watching you work!
I am currently reupholstering my late mother's wingchair. It is a slow process since I never knew how many staples keep the fabric and everything together. Thanks to your tutorial and others I figure if you can do it I can do it...I'm not as fast as you pro's! Thanks for showing the proper way to reupholster these (in my humble opinion) timeless chairs. The detailing is awesome, you are a wonderful perfectionist. Thank you.
You are an artist, thank you so much for creating this video! Would you please recommend a few supply houses where I can go to buy fabric, foam, fiber, etc.
been doing upholstery for 45 years ,still like to watch videos like this you can never know to much when it comes to recovering furniture ,good job mate
Thank you so much! I have been intimidated to reupholster a family antique chair that was well frayed but your video really helped to walk me through the process in detail. Lots of patience but it came out great. Much appreciated!
You make it look like a lot easier than it is. You know the little details that we don't see until we screw up and see the things you've done quickly. I've worked my way through it thanks to you, I was using a striped material which made it a little more difficult also. Thanks for the video, there is no way I could have done it without your help. My wife loves her new chair and is already wanting me do the one in the bedroom. Of course it took me two weeks and not a half an hour like you. Of course that's due to having to pull apart and redo the screw ups. I know you sped up the video, but I'm sure you still were done in less time than me. Thanks again.
I just got a wingback chair and I wanted to change the fabric this is the first video I came upon, thank you for explaining it step by step I know what to do now...thank you and keep the videos coming.
Hi. Reading your comment…first, how did your project turn out & second, did you use piping on the face of the arms on your chair. If so, how did you do your piping? Did you sow them together yourself? I guess one has to buy a “piping” foot for your sowing machine.
the guy is amazing and a real professional. Watching this video convinced me that I should not attempt this reupholstery job myself, but sew a loose cover for my wing chair. I am good at sewing, so this seems like a safer option. And if I don't like the result at least the chair isn't ruined .
estimates were too high with pros and i understand why!? and with so many videos and confusion in diy upholstery i lost track doing it myself and thanx to your video i was able to finish my wingback chairs! i wish you can see my results and rate my chairs. i get a lot of compliments. Thank you again.
Wow! I had no idea there was so much work involved. I wanted to do my two wing back chairs but I’ve changed my mind now after seeing this video. There is no one in town that does it reasonably. Cost is over a thousand dollars plus you buy fabric . I’ll buy a chair I guess and wait 9-12 mths to get it! Ridiculous. Education learned here. Thanks for sharing.
Enjoyed your video but I know now I have to find someone to reupholster my aunts old chairs cause I know I will not attempt to do that and ruin the chairs. Lol. I have to give it to you, sir you know your craft.
Great job, perfect finish. I do not speak English, sorry the spelling errors, I'm using google translator. Congratulations for the work and success to you.
I wish you slowly explain you tools 1st before you start your projects like what kind of glue you use and what kind of staple gun your using....in your hand it's look like it's very easy
Fantastic! This chair is one of my favorites! I have two in pink pinstripe in my living room with a very skinny light blue stripe in between the pinks, and this blue is the color of my small camel back sofa - beautiful! You are very talented! Please continue with these videos!
Wow! You make it look easy. I want to learn upholestry. Not sure if people offer classes locally. You do excellent work. Love watching your videos. Hopefully i will upholster someday.
The chair is beautiful. I am afraid with the warp speed on the video I had a hard time following some of it. Gorgeous job. Makes it look a lot easier than it is, I'm sure.
Hey, is there any reason why you should or should not see the side pieces? So on each arm, you’ve sewed the vertical and arm pieces together, what purpose does that serve?
Hola, me gusta mucho sus publicaciones,!!! por que no has puesto nuevos videos, será que estas muy ocupado por la temporada de navidad?!!, Saludos desde Medellín, Colombia.
hello brother. i like very much what you do ,and thanks for sharexit whit us . and please can you make some videos about how to make the carcasse of the filchesters.
Awesome video, But I have a question.. I see that this Chair used serpentine springs and sometimes I see coils springs. Is one preferred over the over or is it just preference?? You do beautiful work.

Beautiful chair, after all the work. I didn’t see the replacement of the batting.

Is it a nail gun or stapler gun that's being used? It's so cleanly done. Is there a certain type you have to use.
Looks like so much work. I'll continue to leave it for the professionals lol
Great video! I have a wingback waiting for an upholstery job!
