Ron DeSantis' 'gracious' act to 'Libs of TikTok' creator revealed

- Ron DeSantis has become the subject of praise after the creator of influential Twitter account 'Libs of TikTok' revealed the "kind-hearted" Florida governor had offered her his mansion's guest house for her protection.
Chaya Raichik, a formerly anonymous creator, revealed her face for the first time in an interview with Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Tuesday (local time).
Ms Raichik was revealed to be the creator behind the Libs of TikTok account by a Washington Post article back in April, which she said exposed her to threats and intimidation.
The account, which posts TikTok videos from liberals and progressives, has generated more than 1.7 million followers.
Ms Raichik told Tucker of Mr DeSantis' generosity, telling the Fox News host one of the governor's staffers had reached out to her after her identity was revealed.
"He said, if you don’t feel safe or you or your family, if you need a place to go, to hide, to stay here, you can come to the governor’s mansion," she told Tucker Carlson.
"We have a guest house for you and you can come and stay as long as you need."
I'm so proud that my wife and I voted this man into office twice in our lives, and one day we will vote him as POTUS.

Lorenz isn't a victim of bullying and harassment, she's a perpetrator of it. Repeating what someone has said, which is one of the fundamental things a real journalist does, is not bullying and harassment. But posting someone's home address in the knowledge that someone will use that information to harm the person isn't just bullying and harassment, it's incitement to violence. Doxing should be an offense and Lorenz should be in prison.

I knew a woman (with some public image) who attempted to commit suicide, but was saved. Unfortunately a year later she did it again and succeeded the second time. She was constantly bullied on facebook, and I couldn't understand why she just didn't close her account and ignore all social media. It was so tragic, but she did have serious financial problems so the bullies got off scot free.
1st attempt usually end up in failure, 2nd attempt success goes way up because they learned from the first attempt.
My condolences. I hope that she's found peace in her rest.

@@dreamfury2351 Yes she was a very beautiful woman in her hey day. She did some TV, but as she got older and the adulation stopped, she just went into a deep depression and we couldn't pull her out of it. But it was the online bullying that pushed her over the edge.

I just wanted to add that I think social media and technology nowadays has such an unspoken evil ability to manipulate the user and the audience that user's "input" is broadcasted to. Social media and tech allows the user to apply visual filters, select and falsify only flattering things about themselves to the world, in turn for temporary highs from the "likes" and idolatry behavior of other sheep.
I have to constantly remind my 18 year old daughter of those facts when she talks about how she can't compete with some of her peers. And my daughter is naturally stunningly beautiful, in real life with no filters nor manipulations.
