I've been saying the same thing. They need to feel the parents watching over their shoulder.
Teachers need to be carefully vetted before being allowed into the classroom to have an idea just exactly what they intend to teach & not teach. A syllabus isn't asking for that much if you consider yourself a professional educator🤔
We should start a campaign to put body cams on teachers. I mean they LOVE the idea of cops wearing them. I guess there are just only certain bureaucrats they feel should be held accountable.

I told my kids that if a teacher, or any adult for that matter tells them NOT to tell me something or keep a secret from us, then that person is not a good person, and they should tell me immediately.

But just so you know, the vast majority of LGBTQ people disagree with these people who have hijacked their movement and turned it into something completely different. Most just want to be left alone to live their lives just like everyone else. how do you know people like these are NOT teaching your kids?? there are lots of documented cases where teachers are doing this all over the country, even in states with laws against it, it's just not being enforced and the nutjobs are going against the law.
