There's a video on bubble wrap from an English seller who sells miscellaneous items, basically they are sending 60 meter length bubble wrap rolls, but advertising them as 100 meters. It's been reported to amazon many times by many different buyers and the listings are still live on amazon!
Its likely because the scammers just keep making new accounts whenever they are stopped and start again over and over. So Amazon is trying to stop it but there method only really stops legitimate stores because they are too lazy to actually figure out a real solution.
This is why as a business, you cannot solely rely on one platform. Amazon is one of the biggest PITA platform to deal with, especially with TCG category. The fact they even allow customers to steal the packs and then return the items at the seller's expense is unreal.
Yeah doing business with Amazon is a nightmare. You can legit buy a booster box, fill it with bulk and reseal it, and Amazon’s underpaid slaves will put it right back into the system.
I bought a WiFi controlled thermostat, that was set up with all the information for someone else. I spoke to Amazon customer service and explained that selling something as new, when it is indeed used is a federal offense, the manager said I know but no-one is going to do anything about it.
Amazon didn't do anything??? A billion dollar company contacted them threatening a lawsuit for selling their products against their policy. Amazon's fault? LMAO YA OK
after you give them the pokemon intl invoice to the distributor they will ask you " ok we need you to give us proof by sending us the time when the atoms to create these cards were officially created and also pinpoint the trees these cards were made from"
Sorry to hear that but appreciate you sharing the details. Amazon should be ashamed of this, but you're probably right in perhaps there is pressure from the parent companies who do not want this sort of product being on there.
Sorry to hear that Mason. That's one of the bad things dealing with such a huge company. The big wigs don't care, and the small fish you have to deal with don't think beyond what the script tells them to do so there's no one you can actually talk to and reason with.
Ran into the same problem. I think depending on your FBA return status, people return it with fake cards/less cards and Amazon re-sells it to customers not knowing the cards have been changed out.
Crappy repacks of junk are annoying and clog up the results from legitimate sellers who will actually sell you a product and tell you what it is. Cant tell you how many times im on ebay looking at a listing of what looks to be a cool lot of cards just to then read its a "Random" lot and not even what they sell.
Strictly from a business perspective you should just move on and if possible just make another Amazon. Lesson learned and don't let it hold you up too much. The brand of your Amazon presence takes a hit restarting but the income returns in that stream. I've been banned on everything numerous times as a perpetual line crosser and for me it's not a big deal. Think of it like this, actual scammers don't let it deter them right? Lol. Use the pokepacks as door crashers for an event or something. Heck donate them for a write off if need be. All the very best man I like your style!
this is horrifying, and another story reminding businesses not to depend too heavily on one platform bc if you get banned for whatever stupid reason, then your business is over. It's a good thing you guys have your own site & store, and I'm sure sell on TCG and eBay as well. I really hope there ends up being a way for you to get unbanned at somepoint.
Do y’all do those bulk card packages from single sets? Like, if I wanted a single bulk package filled exclusively with Stellar Crown or Paradox Rift, do y’all do that? That’s definitely something that would be awesome for master setters. Probably would be a pain in the ass for y’all though to have to keep everything organized and packed. That really sucks with Amazon. Definitely not buying TCG from them again.
By the nature of being a repacked product, it should not be sold as a ‘new’ item condition. If you listed as ‘used - like new’ they may have left you alone but claiming cards which have been opened and sifted as ‘new’ is kind of deceptive practice.
Most persons just list as generic or pay their way through, because this is bull. I encountered the same issue while trying to sell on amazon. Yet so many scammers and counterfeit product sellers are on Amazon and making millions.
I sold a bunch of that type of repacks on ebay. My inventory would sell out each time I listed them. I never had a problem with ebay like you had with Amazon. But like you said, the profit isn't all that great which is why I moved away from doing it, or at least for now. I could go back to doing it again at a later time. Ebay did ask me where I get my inventory from. I told them and gave them my distributor names and I was good after that.
Thinking about this now, I think this could be considered repackaging, as you getting bunch of cards from different sets. I wonder if the item was listed as 'used - like new' and was guaranteed the bulk was from a certain set like Silver Tempest or something like that.
Aye thanks so much bought a Serra’s sanctum from you it came quick as heck and was exactly as described. Been watching you for a while and when I seen you was selling it wanted to give it a try (Highly recommended)
This is why I always encourage people to not rely on third party platforms, you can make your first sale on them but you should aim to never make the second sale to the same person through that third part platform.
Well. Lessons learned. You learned 1. If you were ever required by anyone to prove that what you get from your distributor are real Pokemon products, you wouldn't be able to. Very scary indeed. And 2. Amazon is cracking down, rightfully so, due to scammers. But their efforts only hurt the legitimate stores while scammers make new accounts.
It's crazy how you can't sell a product in plain day explaining what it is and you got banned, but you can buy a mtg booster box that's been gutted from "Amazon direct" and they don't do shit about that.
As a person that has a bulk account on TCG player I hate those products on Amazon. I have no machines, I have no distribution, I sort and list everything by hand. The portion of consumers that are buying those lots frustrate me more than the people selling them though.
Amazon has gotten so bad about this stuff. I sell Funko Pops on there and they just did they same exact thing to me leaving around 6,000 units stranded in their warehouse. Ive submitted all the documents they ask for but they don't care. Im sorry to hear that about your Amazon account. Btw I also live in Louisville, KY and love the content. This is how the buyer scammers work and the legit buyers get screwed for anything good in the packs and then gets returned and re sold, never ending cyvle. I just buy from local Trading card seller.
I kind of agree with Amazon, these are mostly bought for children. 45 cards worth $0.01-$0.05, five holos between $0.10-$0.25 and a v max $0.12-$0.50. For a dollar over a price of a pack. Selling junk , trash to children with no hope of getting a card more than $5. 10k units times $5=$50k,. Making the most out of your trash, that’s not fair to children that wants a chance of getting something nice, but only end up with a bunch of bulk. My opinion you should not try to get every dollar you can and sell a bulk of a 10k to 100k of cards at a time.. probably people out here not going to like this, but my opinion when you selling repacks with bulk you don’t want, you are scamming these children out here fo the chance of getting something special and not just bulk ( trash) . 😢
I could be wrong here but from what I have gathered is your opening packs pulling hits and off loading your junk on Amazon. You probably had a large amount of complaints and they just wanted you off of there site. Considering how much the pressed the legitimacy. Not hating the hustle but it does make sense on there end if they are getting a lot of returns/complaints. Again could be wrong first time watching your videos. Just a stranger’s perspective.
The distributors you are most likely using are huge. They have been verified thousands of times with lgs sales. Tells me the person you are interacting with is clueless on the main distributors and need to learn product chain lines. The huge chains are not selling wish or Temu fakes. Between the manufacturer and the Distributors those numbers are forbidden to be released as it would reveal distributors numbers which could reveal production numbers.
Why was not of your main sold product shown? You state that you weren't out there to scam the customer. Show how you listed things. Most TCG players will buy repacks if they know. If you are shrink wrapping stuff (doesn't appear like you were) then selling it as is, that is messed up. But it seems to me like if multiple customers were pissed and you got banned, you were scamming. You showed none of your listings, none of your receipts etc. We just have your word. I buy tons of MTG repacks for cube drafts. No prob. But they describe what I'm getting. *final edit* My buddy owns a store that mainly works with tabletop games. He just happens to dabble in TCGs and CCGs. He also sells repacks but ensures on his listings that they are repacked. They have x amount of each type. But he also adds that they are listed by set what you will get. So that's prob a way to re-earn your trust in that market. You either made a mistake, or you didn't do the right thing. That's my 2 cents.
It sucks but I'm glad products like this get banned on Amazon. My son had a bday party and wanted pokemon cards for his bday. He got (10) of these from these his classmates parents for about $10 each and it was entirely bulk. He could have received 4 real packs with the current black friday deals for that price and instead got bulk from parents unfamiliar with pokemon. Good riddance to products like this.
I love how hard Amazon pushes to get authentic good products from real sellers and just accept all the other horse shit from scammers
There's a video on bubble wrap from an English seller who sells miscellaneous items, basically they are sending 60 meter length bubble wrap rolls, but advertising them as 100 meters. It's been reported to amazon many times by many different buyers and the listings are still live on amazon!

My nephew before I clicked on this video: "Have you thought about selling on Amazon?" Uhh... yeah lol
The whole account ban almost seams like Amazon data mining information on the supply chain. The amount of date Amazon craves is insane.
I had this happen to me. It was other resellers who bought my items then flagged them as illegitimate to knock out the competition.

The sellers on there bribe some higher ups to be on there and to keep competition out.

You got greedy and it bit you in the ass
"Not a lot of money" $5.30 X 10,000 packs. Perhaps you don't understand what a lot of money is.
The monopolization of capitalism is the problem
