Tricia was kind enough to be my model for this fantastic piece - Medium Top. It's available online or at our store in CA - Woodland Hills. We can work with you over the phone or visit us when you're in CA. This color is Spring Honey and this piece also comes longer and is called a "Long Top." Many clients end up keeping 2- one for everyday and one for dressy occasions! So many different ways to wear it!

I think Coffee Latte would be too dark and not enough reddish brown. Maybe Almond Spice, which is a little deeper in color. Here's the direct link to see and compare our colors:

I just received my topper today. I love it. So natural looking. I just need to play with the placement a bit. The reason I chose this brand started because their website was so user friendly and easy. Plus all the how to videos and demonstrations on how to style in different ways. I've ordered several wigs and hair pcs in the past. None were as described and didn't look nice no matter what I did or how I fixed them. My hair is much thinner now on the top so I knew I needed a topper. I called, held my breath and ordered what I was so hoping would be true to it's description. Just bought this a couple weeks ago. I LOVE it! Took it and got it trimmed a little and have wore it every day since. I tell everybody! Lol. I can’t help it. It just makes me feel good to not look in the mirror and see thinning hair. ❤️. The day I got it I went to visit my 86 yr old Mother. We visited about a half hour and she said, “Your hair looks so cute. You look like a teenager.” I said, “Thanks! It’s fake.” She couldn’t believe it!!! I told her if I can fool my mother, I can fool anyone. 😂 I bought the monofilament and no regrets at all. You will feel so much better with your self confidence if you try this. Make sure to have your beautician trim it up to for you. She didn’t trim it much.

Can you change the part in the piece for $99? How much teasing does it have and is the teasing very noticeable? Thank you?
Hi Rita, Rochelle here! I believe you're talking about the Top Pieces. They have no parts to begin with, so, yes, I even do a zig zag part sometimes. The Monofilament pieces have no machine teasing so it lays pretty flat. So, I'd suggest the "Long Top" either with or without roots or the Medium Top, which is great for shorter hair from the shoulder upwards. Teasing simply gives an item a little extra lift; you can tease it for more lift. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!
So, I ordered my first piece the other day. It’s in transit and is supposed to arrive in a day or two. The payment showed up in my online banking statement, as it should. But, all of a sudden, today, the payment disappeared off my statement, and the funds were back in my account. I want to be sure this is just a temporary glitch and that you get paid for the piece. So, about your question as to which length to go with a chin length bob: I'd say any Medium Top will be perfect and maybe just a touch of a trim (maybe none) to make it perfect for you! I have a low forehead and I don't wear bangs, It would be helpful if you could show how to wear this topper without bangs..
Hi Rick, There really is no right or wrong way to wear a top piece. When you are new to wearing a top piece, we suggest that you spend some time playing with the placement of your piece to find what works best for you. Trimming bangs into a top piece is a personal decision and not necessary. Could you kindly let me know exactly what colour this topper is. I think this would be perfect for my hair if only I knew the colour you are using here. I have watched your videos and am impressed with your wigs/hair pieces. However, I do not see any hairpieces for very short, spiky tops. I wear my hair quite short, I am older and short looks better. My hair is baby fine and thin hair line in front to the crown. Do you have any style that would be appropriate for me?

Our shortest top piece is our medium top which has longer layers, unless you are close enought to one of our retail stores in California, they will have a variety of top pieces you can try. Otherwise, it sounds like the best option for you is a wig, wigs are so easy and convenient to wear and you don't have to work it into your own hair like a top piece. this looks so great on the model. i have not had such great luck with mine. lol. i do not have bangs and it is near impossible to get this to look right on me. my biohair is all one length. any suggestions? maybe i have to cut some little fringy bangs in to it. also, my biohair is wavy and this is straight. can i curl this or should i straighten my own hair...wish you made a shorter wavy one which is really what i need. i will keep working with it, promise.....
Hi Sheri, here are my suggestions for you: When you want to wear your hair wavy, wear our "Wavy Piece" and just have a hairdresser trim it to your length. These are the highest quality synthetic, so no straightening or curling. When you want to straighten your hair, then wear the "Medium Top" and you can also have your hairdresser trim some bangs into it. This way, you have choices! Thanks for watching!

II saw this piece on Godivas' site but it doesn't show how much of a front it has. Looking at this video is hopeful as I too am a cancer survivor and have very thin crown, side and bangs. How is it this lady has the same color hair piece as her own hair? I've spent to much money importing from Paula Young only to be terribly disappointed. They clip into your hair there are 2 clips in the front and 2 in the back so you do need to have some hair in order to clip in the piece. I ordered a nutmeg medium topper. I'm disappointed because it really doesn't add height. Also, it's not easy to get the clips to lay down correctly. (Might be my big head) color is great though.
Hi Laurell, Rochelle here! So, let's discuss this and let me share some tips for you that may help: I am assuming you purchased a regular Medium Top and not a Monofilament Top. When the Top Piece comes to you, the regular Medium Top has teasing at the root, but I suggest you brush it every which way. It just came to you and it takes a little to get it out of it's package and brush it. Now, begin styling it and if you want more height, simply tease it close to the "scalp" just like you would with your own hair. Remember that it is soft and silky since it's brand new. It also helps to spritz a little water (until you know if you'll keep it or not) at the root, then tease it. If you kept it, I'd say to spritz a little of our low alcohol hair spray just at the roots again. It will absolutely add as much height as you want, but it has memory curl - you've just met and it doesn't know how you want it yet. With some coffee or wine, sit at a mirror, slow down and play with it. Here are some more of our videos about top pieces that might help:

I wore it yesterday but it's so flat. Is it possible to tease this one and use wig spray? I thought about returning it because it was $199, but started having health problems and spent 2 weeks in the hospital. My focus was elsewhere.

Which is better...? Human hair or synthetic hair??
Hi Paula, when I decided to create GSW in 1997, I wanted wigs that were easy to wear and easy to style. That's why all of our items are high quality synthetic fibers. Our wigs have what we call "Memory Curl". This means that after you wash and condition (we suggest 1 wash for every 10 to 14 wearings) our wigs dry back to the style you purchased with no styling necessary! @@GodivasSecretWigs I had ordered a wig before from Paula's wigs and it was not what it looked like in the magazine, when I got it in my mail. It was a cheap, plastic wig and yukky. When I ask, for my money back within a week, they said, if I sent it back there would be a fee which was $30.00 to return the wig. They sent me another cheap wig. I just gave up~~~

I just purchased this topper and is exactly what I was looking for but I can't make it work. Doesn't look like the lady in this video. It looks like a big bump on my head. I tried different positions and for some reason doesn't look good. I want it to make it work.
Hi Maggie, You do have to spend a little time experimenting to get the position that works for you. Try moving it as far forward as possible, maybe a little off center to the right or to the left and/or further back allowing some of your own hair to pull forward. Also, you will need to make sure the positioning for the back clips lays as flat as possible.
I try moving it as far forward as possible but I don't have enough hair in the front to pull forward. You can see my scalp if I brush my own hair forward and I put the topper on.. I love the topper, is beautiful and the color is perfect but I think I have to return it. Thanks for your reply and the instructions. I really appreciate it

I wish you made a true salt and pepper topper. I tried sandy silver in a medium topper and returned it due to nothing like my salt and pepper hair, I did love the color however and ordered Freedom in sandy silver.
There is so many of us in the salt and pepper category, it surprises me you do not address that group.
I have found perfect salt and pepper in another company but it is low quality and horrid customer service therefore not for me.
Please consider making toppers and hairpieces in that color.
