  • I stumbled across this abandoned railroad trestle on the Steinhatchee River while driving down a dirt road in the Steinhatchee Springs Wildlife Management Area. I had heard of the bridge's existence, but I had never seen it before. It was an amazing sight to see, and I was glad that I had the opportunity to explore it.
The bridge is located at the 14.4 river access of the Steinhatchee Springs Tract, which is part of the Steinhatchee Springs Wildlife Management Area. It is marked on Google Maps as part of the Greenway Trail.
The bridge crosses the Steinhatchee River, which is a beautiful body of water. I spent about an hour exploring the bridge and taking pictures. It was a great way to spend a morning.
