I love the built in enhancers/exciters in the Eden amps, but for some reason, I am not loving it in the pedal DI. It may be UA-cam's stupid compression algorithm at play, however. Might need to try it out. Could be a good "clean channel" in a fly rig.
first of all, thank you very much for the demo.. this is the best gear demo i have ever seen.. this is exactly what musicians need.. i have a couple of questions.. does the ground lift switch work with the unbalanced line out? and, as i understand, the xlr connection is for mic level inputs and the ts unbalanced out is for line level inputs, right?
ground lift switch work with BAL.OUT only. TS cables do not have "ground". unless special wiring.. about mic level and line level connector is you are right. Shure's blog is very detailed about this. blog.shure.com/whats-the-difference-between-line-and-mic-levels/ thanks for watching.
It’s pretty normal. I using cuby FA-9 by free the tone. but this is a test video, I only use one pedal connected to one PSU. If you connect a lot of pedals to one PSU, it will be noisy you know.
Can you explain to me what type of xlr cord you’re using exactly and where you’re plugging it into? Is a 1/4” trs on the other end and you’re plugging it into a line input on an interface?
Every pedal can be used with any instrument. That just depends on your personal tastes in tone, and the application. Does your song require a specific sound? Can you combine this pedal with your instrument to get that sound? lol I mean, David Eden is more commonly used for bass, just due to the tones their product creates, their amps are made specifically for bass, as far as I know...but I never limit any gear to just one instrument, since music is all about artistic expression.
The frequencies of this pedal are centered around bass guitar. That being said I use a bass overdrive with my synths just because of that. It leaves the bass part intact.
axel8591 This is a temporary scotches for video. As you know, the WTDI knobs have very small dot pointers and chrome plating. It reflects light and is hard to see.
Thank you, now please post a video showing others how to post videos on how to demo products.
Or just watch the videos you understand/like/need, and let others do their thing....
Great demo! I might just get one of these.
I’m sold! Great demo!
The best review, the only mistake is that the mid shift switch switches from 550 Hz to 2.2 Khz not from 2.2 khz to 5 khz.
big difference. he labeled it as a high shift then.
Excelent video. Thanks!

thanks for watching.
your bar is very low lol.
Amazing, thnx
nice bass line))
Kind of wonky that the little led light goes off when the damn thing is engaged. WTF?
I thought the same thing. Had to re-watch the video with that in mind, I thought everything was backwards at first.
What power supply are using. My Eden seems very prone to mains hum.

With a low gain the compressor will not work because your signal is below threshold.

probably a female xlr to male 6.3mm jack
does this pedal goes well with electric guitar and distortion or its exclusive for bass and acustic?

What is the name of the first bassline?
This is my original.
What exactly does the mid shift do?
Romeo Urias WTDI mid has 550Hz and 2.2kHz bands, which can be switched with the MID SHIFT switch.
Why scotches up on knobs?

And the blue light is retina-burning bright on mine. ;>) Great demo here.
@@ANTENNA5656 same with every Ashdown pedal I've ever used.
