The original song is very good of course, but it is YOUR version that I listen to in a loop when I work on my computer late in the evening. I absolutely LOVE your work !
Enter king of nothing lux under ice
The low-whistle sounds especially nice, and I like the way you included the vocal parts in the instrumental which is what is needed with this song. Imagine something like this playing in a forest in Skyrim. You would be transfixed by its beauty, drawn to it like a spell. Absolutely haunting.
When the Renaissance Fair doesn't play the music you like.
IF THEY DON'T PLAY THIS AT MY FUNERAL IM NOT GOING.
Hahaha I love you for that comment
WHAT THE FUCK WHY DID 61 PEOPLE LIKE THIS COMMENT.

Please do Toto - Africa next, would love to hear a medieval version
I think Cornelius did one a few months ago, you should check it out
Physical beauty will fade, but musical ability stays with you, so long as you keep playing. Never stop playing, and you will always be beautiful.
I always thought this was a beautiful song, but this version just takes it to another level. Amazing.
toss a coin to your Hetfield, oh valley of metal
Hahaha I see what you did there
Underrated
Toss a shilling to thy Hætfield, O valley o’ metal

Yup.. me too.. lol.. I'll be working.. but I'll catch it soon after.. yay!! Something to look forward to 😁
A true minstrel. The loot and harp and flute. God does own 🎶 music. Lovely🐦

Might need some hormone therapy or sumn... I dunno I ain't a doctor.
Yeah man this is some beautiful stuff
Ignore the comments that are full of hatred, some people feel music differently than others. I know that pain as well.

As you enter the Elf Song Tavern, you notice patrons wearied in silence, the bards play, because in this moment, before the battle began, nothing else mattered
Dude, never stop making these.
...and that's an order.
Simply thanks from Anatolia for Time travel with Metalica . Music is universal
Absolutely no one:
Me at 2AM: TRUST I SEEK AND I FOUND IN THOU
Ahahah
Thee
@@IDGAFWYT Get thee hence to a plague pit, thou grammar-saracen!
@@Loreman72 Prithee, he dost speak true. You wouldns't say "in he" but rather "in him". Thou/thee and he/him work the same.
You found what you seek peasant
Minstrellica. This song would be a big hit with the people in 1230 AD
It fits. Strangely, it fits.
So close, no matter how far
Couldn't be much more from the heart
Forever trusting who we are
And nothing else matters
Never opened myself this way
Life is ours, we live it our way
All these words, I don't just say
And nothing else matters
Trust I seek and I find in you
Every day for us something new
Open mind for a different view
And nothing else matters
Never cared for what they do
Never cared for what they know
But I know
So close, no matter how far
It couldn't be much more from the heart
Forever trusting who we are
And nothing else matters
Never cared for what they do
Never cared for what they know
But I know
I never opened myself this way
Life is ours, we live it our way
All these words, I don't just say
And nothing else matters
Trust I seek and I find in you
Every day for us something new
Open mind for a different view
And nothing else matters
Never cared for what they say
Never cared for games they play
Never cared for what they do
Never cared for what they know
And I know, yeah, yeah
So close, no matter how far
Couldn't be much more from the heart
Forever trusting who we are
No, nothing else matters
wow the lyrics! did you type these up from memory or just google it and copypasta?
@@lochmarFiendhiem memory!
You should have your own UA-cam channel. Those lyrics are masterful! They match the music perfectly. You’re so talented!
Natalie thank you so much for putting up the lyrics of such a beautiful songxx
Beautiful music, beautiful lyrics. Thank you. 😊
This is so well done. There is no better way to explain how amazing Metallica really is.
11 months later, still have this in the morning music rotation to power up for the day.
My man shredded the shit out of that solo on an instrument I don't even know the name of. A job well done ser!
That's a lute
That's not a lute. It's a lute guitar. Essentially a classical guitar that looks like a lute.
The other one, though, yeah, that is just a classical guitar made to look like a lute. It doesn't have a lute's tuning and, more importantly . . . it has nowhere near enough *strings* to be a lute.
All the blacksmith's in my fair village would rock to this till the dawn, and no other thing mattereth
Liked just for the use of "mattereth".
Doth thy smith knoweth of Woodicca? Forsooth, thine hammer shalt ring 'til the dawn should ye hark such a noble melody
I saw Metallica perform this in Marrakesh on August 5, 1531...best show I've ever been to!
The best part is that i didn’t search for this video.

@@johnmarston1677 So what ??? Is it your ptoblem ?
The best part (to me) is that I _did_ search for this _comment_

Same lol
The comments had me laughing , but the music is absolutely beautiful!
Metallica is my favourite band since decades.
This song was our wedding song 15 years ago.
It was the only song where I got my husband on the dancefloor 🤣🤣🤣
This version is really touching because I am a great medieval fan too...
Thank you guys for that wonderful song 🥰
My husband loves IT too and in december we will renew our wedding so this time it will be this version...
I guess my husband is the only african man WHO don't dance and one of the rare black people WHO likes metal 😎💝🤘
There are thousands black people enjoying metal …
@@AnibalAvelar I was thinking this also. I didn't think metal was super uncommon.
All time favorite song… all time favorite Bard..
Algal.. magnificent you are 💜💙🌹
