+Arek Pelka I have tried one in the past. They are beasts. Very nice machines. The 299 too big for the majority of the jobs we do and thats why we went with the smaller 289D. The 289 does everything we need it to do.
+Dirt Ninja Do you think Overall length 146.2" (289D) vs 151.5" (299D) it's a huge difference? Width over trucks 76" are the same. (Just for the record: You have very nice machine. I know you do not need bigger size or more HP) I just want to "hear" opinion from somebody who used them both.
+Arek Pelka I dont think the length is a huge difference. It really depends on what you are using the machine for. If you are doing more excavation work and moving a good amount of material I would go with the 299
Nice job on the video. It cool when your ripping through the top of the fresh pile. Listen to that kitten purr
+BestBettsPools Thanks for watching! Yes the 289 has some good pushing power!
This is worth my time.
You should get a 4 in 1 bucket
What is better, a 299d or 289d my dad is looking to buy either one in a month or so. fuel, power ect..
The rock to the side appears to have a face and hairline the shading give it the affect
You're pretty nimble with that track steer
+Keri Jones Thanks!
so I take it you won't be demoing for bobcat at Deerfield this year...
+Mr. Random haha, no I wont
so has more pushing power your old t300 or the 289d cat
What kind of material are you using for fill? Thanks
+Nick Neves Its a sandy gravel fill
Dirt Ninja did you tried 299D XHP? If not can you tell why did you chose 289D and not 299D? BTW good video
