Happy New Year. If you’re checking something out at night, you need more than a flashlight lol. It’s nice that you are so young that you have many many years to enjoy all your hard work . ❤all your big boulders and envious of your gorgeous soil, we have nothing but sand in Florida. Have a great week😊
Another new year boy time flies, great job getting the water done, taps are great saves on the carrying of buckets, love the healthy dinner all made by your own graft, Keep eating them eggs 🤗.
happy happy new year there ! really beautiful al the cleaning up in you'r garden, use your fantasy there, love the views, enjoy and al the best for the next year...sssss may your chicken give you a lot of egg's also thanks for showing every sunday how you do what you doin portugal in another great happy happy video here !
Happy 2025! You are transforming your land in the clouds into a beautiful landscape. You two are an amazing team. God bless you both richly in all you do. 🙏🌻🐾🇬🇧
That will be really handy to have a water faucet near the chicken coop. Your land looks better with each passing day! All your hard work is really paying off. Maybe some solar powered motion detector lights would be helpful to have outside to see what’s going on outside at night now that you have chickens out there. Thanks for sharing! ❤
All the ash from burning off the clearing will be good to put in your compost. Ash is really good for potatoes. Don't just use the ash from your fire. But also from the burning off that you do around your land
Happy New Year to you. I hope you had good start into 2025. Wish you all the best for your upcoming plans, stay healthy and keep your positive and lighthearted mind. 🥰
Watching your video in the heartland of the USA. It's - 9 Celsius here. Our morning frosts happen back in October. Will is your middle name Jack? Because you are definitely a Jack of all trades
@ no snow yet. Icy roads over night. We will get snow storms. The worst snow hits in March when the temps go up a little. The storms usually dump a foot or two each time. Portugal for middle USA people and Irish or Brits has got to be heaven on earth. My Irish ancestors migrated to America during the potato famine. Maiden name Donahue (definitely a very common sir name)
I love how you don’t really need to build a stone wall by the chicken coop, you already have one. Those sun dried tomatoes look amazing!!😊😊😊well ✅ done. You may want to put some solar motion sensor lights around your land! Scary out there at night! Do you let the chickens out a bit once a day? I know there are predators but maybe when you are with them? Maybe you can teach Bailey to herd them back in…?
Thanks! I love the sound of training Bailey with them, a few more weeks and we should have some fencing sorted to help with the keeping the random dogs out when free ranging the chicks 😀 the dogs are our main concern really!
Applying too much ash can significantly raise soil pH and harm plants. Check your soil first: Before adding ash, test your soil to ensure it is actually acidic and needs the pH correction. Not sure it will protect your plants against frost. Straw is way more effective.
Looks like you're being adopted! One of the village dogs started hanging around here...now he is a pretty much full time self-appointed guard dog...and be careful of those boars - ones that have derived from escaped pigs aren't scared of humans & they may have little ones now! Very tasty if that's your thing! Cheers!
Aw he must be a fan of you and your place! We mostly just see hunting dogs in the area, which don't stick around for long. The hunters would love to catch a javali for sure, they seem to take refuge in our land at night time, we see them quite a lot 🐗
@BaileysHomestead javali - great ploughs to be sure!

Hello... it seems to be a wildcat (Felis silvestris) from Portugal, a rare animal to be filmed. But it could also be a species of wild pig or boar that exists in Portugal. Don't be afraid... there are no tigers, jaguars or leopards like in Brazil hahahaha if you run towards them with a flashlight... to see if you can film them clearly, they will probably run away in fear of you. hahaha P.S. Your videos are very good... especially because you enabled the dubbing function in Portuguese. Thank you.
Hey! We thought it was a javali as we have seen them about but it is difficult to see. Meeting anything in the dark is a little scary, although yes a jaguar much more so! 😅😅 Thank you 💚

@@BaileysHomestead hahahaha correct! A wild boar alone is fine... the worst thing is in a group. Good luck. Let's watch the next videos.
We've talked about this a bit on our channel, we want to and in a few weeks we will be able to when we get some fencing installed. We have a problem with hunting dogs wandering onto our land and want to make sure the chickens are safe 😊
Bonne année à vous deux...et merci de ne pas mettre de traduction audio car elle est de très mauvaise qualité et ne sert à rien merci et bon courage pour 2025
Love the way you guys appear to do things in the correct order (priority) over doing things without a plan, well done.
