Hello Sarah! Thanks for sharing another great shopping trip. I always enjoy watching your shopping trips to different stores and different towns. Looks like you have two great helpers today. I better your salve is great for alot of different aches and pains. I would like to try some of your salve sometime. Look forward to your next video.
Enjoyed both videos. So cool that the family works so well together. That is how I was raised and I employ 2 brothers and a son in my business today. I really wish you all the best moving forward.
As soon as I can I'm going to order a couple of those cutting boards!! I will let you know when. Thank you for that idea. I love watching y'all's videos!!
Love the drone footage. Beautiful shades of blue and green in the water. The bridge and the mountains, all are majestic. My Costco was out of eggs and TP last week. The ice cream looks good but a bit pricey. I would buy the big tubs when the kids were young. Have a good week.
I agree on the ice cream... wow, out of TP and eggs...not good. We try to stock up " when we can afford it" .... It's hard though because everything is so expensive! Thanks for watching us!
I paid $4.29 a gallon in Seattle,WA. Last week the store wanted $7.00+ for a dozen eggs. And I’m not talking about those super spendy pasture raised chicken eggs!!!! Seattle is getting increasingly expensive. When I retire I’ll have to go into the forest and become a hermit 🤣🤣
A salve for arthritis you are a miracle maker. I live in Arkansas and it is cold here so you feel all the aches. Gas the is 2.65. 1st time watching so glad I found it.
Oh yeah, and thanks for watching us! Yes, my mom and her husband use it often, and they say it really helps them... Wow, 2.65 for gas. It's a pretty good price there!! Thanks for sharing! Stay warm
Thank you for showing the Diamond D custom leather shop. He was all excited to see that shop in your video. He owns quite a few things from there. I might get a trip to Anchorage just so he can go see this shop in Wasilla personally. Yeah! We live in Santa Fe, NM, and our gas price for the low gas is $2.89.
Wow! Gas is so cheap there, we pay over $6 per gallon, diesel is even higher! 2% milk is $9 per gallon. Those cheese blocks are over $22 here at least. Central Alberta, Canada. It’s so nice to see the older boys helping you do the family shopping. Great job, Sarah and Jeff! Love these comparison shopping videos. ❤❤❤
Oh my goodness, your stuff is so high! Thank you for sharing your prices. $ Yes my boys are precious. They take good care of Jeff and I. They are growing up so fast, I cherish hanging out with them every day!
Loved the sectional at Costco!!! The ice cream looked so good! Guess I'm gonna have to come back and try it! 😂 Gas where we currently are is $2.88 at Costco. Great video! ❤
Multiple stores in one trip is the best way to go - saves miles on your vehicle as well as gas from multiple trips. Depending on what stores I'm going to, I'm about a 15-20 minute drive into the city, hit multiple stores and then 15-20 minutes home.
I am watching your UA-cam from Los Angeles. Your gas is so cheap in Los Angeles depends the gas station it’s a started $4.15 or $4.60 something in Alaska so cheap.❤
Considering the extra cost of shipping to Alaska, and the smaller base of possible local suppliers, I am surprised that prices at Anchorage Costco are not hugely higher than at Costco in the lower 48.
I did turn your video back on after the shrieking loader truck was no longer present and enjoyed it. I know these videos are hard work and appreciate you! Suggestion - I have heard on utube videos from Alaska homesteaders ( which ones ?) that Kirkland TP is ruining Alaska plumbing and to get TP at another store or buy a different brand. You might want to lol onto it? Hoping the best for your family! God bless!
Thank you for watching us! We just have an outhouse for now, so no worries on plumbing ( for now) But thank you for sharing! We appreciate you watching though and supporting us!!
I’m in Ontario, Canada and if I did the conversion properly I paid around $5.90 a gallon yesterday. We’re heavily taxed on fuel here and the prices are ridiculous. Most of our work vehicles are diesel and that’s even more money
Honestly, we always hit Debarr because it's fastest to hop into and hit the road back up...we could try the other one as we gain more light. I still would like to hit the Business Costco too this summer... Thanks for watching!
Hi Sarah. Great video footage first off. Does that medicine help with back pain you sent to your mom? 3.14 for gas? I paid 3.06 in Florida. Our mandarins go bad fas. Ground beef is 4.29 a pound. No one in your house does Legos? Oh, our milk is 3.17/gallon and eggs are 4.53 a dozen large. No hint about new product?🤔 I will send you cutting board measurements this week and am wondering if you could sign your first names, Homestead living AK? How do you ship? Could you grab that big ice cream cone in front of Millers and send it to me?🤣🤣🤣🤣 Thank you. Larry
Ha! Don't you just love that huge cone in front of Millers??? It's great! Yes , the salve is good for aches/pains sore muscles, etc.... My mom's new hubby has a bad shoulder and it really helps him. Of course, just send us measurements when you can. I will let you know if we can accommodate the order. Our trees up here are not huge, however we do have some old growth birch... I may eventually list my salves on etsy. My hint on the new product is the squirrels may enjoy it! OK then, thanks for watching us...I can always send you a salve to test out, no worries. I am a huge believer in natural medicine first....
I thought about it. I think there are restrictions on selling salves/lotions...you are " supposed" to make them at a certain facility...cosmetic act I think. I would love to, just don't know the legal issues surrounding it. I am a huge believer in salves though!...they work!
@ there was one homesteading you tuber, the Stivers, who sold salves they made. I think they sold soap as well, I know another one sold soap… it was just a thought
Suggestion: Edit out the shrieking loud piercing headache inducing alarming of the backing up indoor truck thing. I could not hear anything you said and immediately had to turn off your video. Usually I enjoy your videos. Gid bless.

Why don’t you sell your salve in your Etsy store?
I thought about it. I think there are restrictions on selling salves/lotions...you are " supposed" to make them at a certain facility...cosmetic act I think.
I would love to, just don't know the legal issues surrounding it.

i’ve been working so hard on my financial goals, and this week i got an unexpected opportunity to work on a side project that’s going to bring in a ton of extra income. i didn’t plan for it, but it’s exactly what i needed. i’ve been trying to align myself with the energy of abundance, and honestly, i think reading Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane really helped me understand how to do that. now, things are falling into place in ways i didn’t even expect.
Oh awesome, I am excited for you!
We will have to check that book out...sounds interesting and informative
