Hi there...love your videos. My husband is Moroccan and i have been going to Morocco for 22 years now and love it.... marjane is a bit expensive for ftuit and veg so we always buy our veg and fruit at the souk....miss morocco!!!!
You are really right Marjane add tax
+ at the souq there is better quality
The souk is better not expensive and fresh fruits
Hey 👋🏼 your welcome again 😊 you and all Ur families
Samantha
Wise decision 👌🏼
Souk is always cheaper than supermarkets like Marjane and Acima...

*** UPDATE ***
I accidentally doubled the price of lentils, they are actually 15DH.
I do also eat a lot of beans (protein) and also sometimes eat meat, but usually only when I eat out. 👍🏼
Souk comparison vid is in the making - see ya all soon! ✌🏼
Dude,do you love to get ripped off?!?
Welcome to Morocco, and I advise you, brother, to buy vegetables and fruits from stores on a street that is much cheaper than commercial coral, and vegetables on the public street are natural vegetables and fruits without medicines.
You do double whole thing’s not only Lentils, That’s Morocco my friend hahaha
Ever heard of Moroccan English Radio?
Check our episodes!
As a Moroccan, I'd say you can get a lot more quantity AND quality for those prices at the local markets. Us Moroccans don't buy our produce from supermarkets because of its bad quality. That's just an unwritten rule we have here. Great video though! Merhba bik!
ewa chookran al mouchahidin
What are you talking about , Im morrocan and I buy my groceries from the supermarket all the time .
Ahahahah what are you talking about? In morocco supermarket is cheaper than local stores. I live in morocco
It's true. I live in Morocco and can't get good nene at Carrefour.
@@elbb6623 i think pricewise the local shops are as expensive as the supermarkets.
That wheather thing in agadir happens because we re trying to open a portal to another dimention so it is playing with physics a little . But that's a secret.
😂😂
Now that's clever 😂
Dates / fruits / vegetables are expensive in supermarket
Most of Moroccan people buy this in souks
For Moroccans yes it is expensive but for Europeans and American it's broke friendly
It might be not that expensive for tourists but when it comes to quality, fruits and vegetables from souks are much better and fresh
@أستغفر الله you just proved my point ,supermarkets are much more expensive than souks at the same time they're cheaper than western supermarkets therefore our super markets are broke friendly and this point was proven to me buy people from outside the nation, not even by me.
عواشر مباركة
@@noone-io4yj from an ethical perspective, i personally prefer to purchase fruits and vegs from souks, not only because they are cheaper and fresher than in supermarkets, but i've rather to buy from souk merchants to help their modest businesses than from Marjane which is belonging to a billionaire king
@@brainlessfool7815 I'm not in a position that allows me to purchase from either of them, but I agree with your assessment.

Great video mate, loving the mini series, definitely keep them going. 🤙
Great vid, on the topic of the Hot wind its quite common in southern Morocco its called chergui or sharqi a continental easterly or southeasterly wind from the Sahara desert, it can raise temperatures from a nice 25°C to 50°C in a matter of minutes, its more confusing when it happens in winter, when summer takes over winter lol.
This is some quality content mate, this channel deserves to blow up
🙌🏼🙌🏼👍🏼👍🏼 💥
Now after moving to USA , I miss shopping in Morocco because everything in so damn expensive in grocery stores here 😫 and you can't just buy one single thing drink or something you buy the whole package
Back to Morocco and vlog Damn thing’s and you Will live better than in our sister USA hahaha
Welcome in Morocco

@@zakifelghorba are you crazy? Stay in europe for 1 year you will hate europe so much, moroccans who lives in morocco think europe is good but no it isnt
Very nice video man really appreciate it like a pro, all is good in this vlog.. Perfect Alex!
Nice editing! The clothing swap bit was cool
Yes, in agadir, the wind from the Sahara often blows from the east to give you Sahara like weather
Commented, liked and watched all the adds - hopefully you will hit the 80k subscribers threshold shortly? Interesting 🧐 to see the different foods and prices charged. With everything going on in the world atm it’s not surprising that some food prices would of gone up. Panic buying and stocks are low - that’s what starting to happen again in my area of the UK!! This year has definitely been a weird one - hopefully your journey back home will go off without any further delays or issues. Stay safe 🚐🎥🐕
Hi Alex matey, real extremes of weather. It looks like the van is taking a right hammering with all that sand, top tip mate have a look at your air filter and give it a shake out and same goes for the pollen filter. 👍👍
I really appreciate the information. Love your content and friendly vibe!!! Travel well.
Cheers for the support

Bro happy to see you shopping and eating good. Thanks for dollar conversion!! And you know souk is always cheaper maaan
Welcome to morocco all the love for you
Support from Morocco 🇲🇦🙌❤
Nice video! Marjane is expensive for Morocco, but it's also handy. There is a hot wind in Morocco called Chergui, it's the wind coming from the desert, also usually full of sand. On bad stormy chergui days you gotta shut all window and door seals with wet towels to prevent sand from coming into the house, it's pretty crazy and the sky turns orange! It's not often it gets this bad though (depending on the region also I guess). But Im not sure that's actually what you experienced in Agadir 🤷🏽♀️
Marjane is cheap! 90% of products are cheaper than in local market. Only fruit not
Your editing is really good
Cheers :)
Great video
Man that alot of work filmaking, great job

Lol we were in Orgiva and it got to 43 in the camper! It was a hot few days also!! You should try there in Andalusia, it has a completely different vibe!! Yeah figs are a luxury to buy!!! Best to have a fig tree in the garden and they are free all season!!

Welcome to Morocco
it is a nice experience getting to know food prices in Morocco. However, as long as I am Moroccan, I would advise you to buy food from local markets or Souk because they are cheaper, tastier and fresher. Have a nice journey!
It was nice having you in Marjane agadir. Best regards from the cashier hh
Ah hello 😁 thanks for taking part in the video
Hi ! love the video, just want to mention a thing if u were to but the vegetables and some other things buying them from local seller would be a lot cheaper and guarantied they are bio :D
I was a bit shocked at some of those prices, found food in East Africa quiet expensive in super markets for sure outdoor/covered markets a lot cheaper. we used to wrap our veg up in news paper to stop sweating and ruining other produce and kept in a barrel. And would have a box of carb foods like pasta/rice/porridge. Our menu on the road was ugali (corn porrige) with dried milk and dried fruit and honey . Avocado's, bread and chutney for lunch which we would just make as we drove. And dinner always some kind of veggi dish with carbs. It works! You said to comment so I thought I'd share of my time on the road in Africa .
Interesting! Thanks Lindsey :)
Its like comparing the prices of China with Iran or Saudi Arabia just because they share the same continent.
My beautiful country, you so welcome btw
Thank you
Hey there, is there anyway you can do a tutorial on how you did the video effects on this one, loved the video background and foreground together and the way you rolled up with different pics of fruit and veg, I've never seen that before and I'm terrible at creating videos...lol... live to watch creative ones like this one though.
I would love to, but I have a queue of videos atm 😬
You can dm me on IG and I will send a voice message explaining the basics if you like.
Nice
You are welcome ❤❤❤
i enjoy the videos more when the music is peaceful
They use much less plastic on their food 😍 and the flavors are definitely very tasty 😋
Yeah it’s great to see less plastic :)
