Chocolate ratio to coconut oil.
One bag of Candy Melts, I use wilton [10oz-12oz] to 1 tablespoon of coconut oil.
You can add more or less depending on consistency you want.
You can find sticks and bags on Amazon or dollar stores.
USE ANY CAKE BOX MIX. I RECOMMEND PILLSBURY.
*PLEASE TRY BOTH CAKE METHODS AND SEE WHICH ONE YOU PREFER.
FOR APPLE SAUCE RECIPE, SIMPLY REPLACE THE OIL WITH APPLE SAUCE.
HAVE FUN WITH THE CAKE POP DOUGHS.
YELLOW CAKE MIX, ADD MINI CHOCOLATE CHIPS FOR A "COOKIE DOUGH"
CHOCOLATE DOUGH, ADD MINI MARSHMALLOWS AND GRAHAM CRACKERS FOR A "SMORES" CAKEP POP
*PRICING DEPENDS ON HOW MUCH YOU SPEND ON INGREDIENTS AND THE TIME IT TAKES YOU TO MAKE THE CAKE POPS*
MY RECOMMENDATION IS $1.50 OR MORE EACH for simple pops.
If your chocolate looks like it's curdling (means it's too hot or overheated) on the cake pop just tap it out some more and it should go away, just dip it again.
If it does not work, it means your chocolate is too hot and your cake pop is too cold. This can also happen if the chocolate is expired or mixed with a gel color (chocolate and wilton colorings do not mix well).
Also if you are adding the coconut oil PLEASE MAKE SURE IT IS FULLY INCORPORATED* stir well.
Looks good, like your ideas. I do use oil omn mine and only 2 had a crack that i was able to fill in without any issues. In my opinion oil not always cracks them or leaks. I think cracking happens more in relation to how cold and how hot both the chocolate and pops are when you dip them. Im not too crazy with applesauce in side cakes. I prefer a very tasty cakepop and ignore a tiny crack than perfection and a not so tasty cake but that's just my preference 😊
Wow that was awesome great job, I'm going to try to do it. It will be my first time. Thank you, 😊🤗 love it
i’ve watched so many videos & have failed so many times. your video helped & i actually made beautiful cake pops.. lol for once. thank you!!!
Tysm for sharing! I'm so happy for yoy❤
Absolutely love the tip of the applesauce replaced for the oil as that’s the way we grew up eating cake and never thought about doing it the same way for the cake pop’s but will always do now. Also, allowing my cake to set overnight covered with foil and always do this. Never had a reason of doing this but I always found it easier to decorate the following day and never had to worry if the frosting would melt off or run, & it kept my cakes from drying out.
Your tips was so helpful. I had great success with using your methods. Thank you so much.
1st time watcher of this person , she is for real type person , she gets to the point and yet explains everything so everyone understands with rambling ! I just live her in this video that I need to watch more .
Ty🥰
You could also just use a cake pop maker that bakes the cake in balls already and save yourself time and trouble. You just pour the batter into the spots in the pan and let them bake for a short time.
I have done that too using a cake ball maker but the cakepop has a different texture altogether, still good but not classic. Breaking the cake & adding a little frosting to the dough changes everything. Something that can be mimic when you just bake the cake in balls using either a mold or an electric mold. This is Only my opinion nothing else😊 at all, we all do whatever is best for us. Happy baking ladies & gens lol
Wow!! Best Cake Pop Class Ever! Thank you for all the help ❤️ Definitely will use apple sauce!
Ty and yay! Tag me on IG I'd love to share💜
Awesome. Thanks for all the information for the best cake pops!
This is so beautiful love how u teach the class 💖 perfect for my anniversary
Loved your class. Very helpful and easy to understand. You mentioned gloves. Any suggestions on where and kind that’s best
I have a few linked in my Amazon 🫶
This is a great tutorial thanks so much!!!! Great tips
I'm clapping!! Lol nice lesson!! Thank you
Thank you so much for the tips!
That was a great class, thank you for the awesome tips!
Tha k you so much for watching and ty for the feedback!
Thank you, i have been looking for a better way for cake pop balls.
Amazon, Macy’s, All have really nice cookie or ice cream scoops for under $10, and they are really great quality. I bought several at Chris time from Macy’s when they had them at 60% off & paid $6 to $8 & they’re excellent, well made stainless steel cookie scoops.
Great class thank you. My cake pops turned out perfect. Would you please share the link for the pearls and gold dust? Thank you
I just came across your cake pop video so well explained I have a question for you - does the coconut oil smell not come through? Can I not use crisco? As coconut oil has a strong flavour...
This was a great tutorial! Thanks lady!
Great video, thanks. How to store decorated cake pops for couple of days ?
Hola! Thank you so much for this great tutorial. Just what i was looking for. I usually make and decorate Sugarcookies, but i am also looking for other ideas to try. This video helped me alot for what i was looking for.Im new to your channel. My question is about the applesauce, will it change the flavor of the cake mix?
I wanted to know where you purchased your disco dust. Your cake pops are so cute..👍😁
Those look great! I can’t find the link how to make the gold dust with perils. Can you please direct me or let me know the type of dust to use? Thank you!
I love it! Thank you so much!
Thank u very much i love your class im going to try this it's my daughter birthday sunday and she want cake pops nuff blessing Toronto in the house
They’re so perfect and round 😍
Oh my goodness! Thank you so much. When replacing the oil with applesauce, do you use a dry measure or liquid measure cup?
How much applesauce do you have to put
I have had much success using my scratch cake recipes. The only issue I would say would be an issue is as the cake pop sits the oils tends to show on the stick as if the stick is soaking up the cakepops.
How do you make your chocolate so manageable. I’ve tried everything and I used those candy melts 😩
Wow! thank you . where you got the plastic cake spatula?
Thank you. Great tutorial. You definitely answered my question
What do you call that round silver that you put the upside down cake pops with? Do you have the link on where can i purchase it? Thanks
Love this !!!!!
Super informative video! Thank you very much for doing it.
Such an informative video, thank you for posting it. I just have one question is a tbsp of buttercream for the amount of cake you used in the video or for the entire box? In other words how much buttercream do I use for the whole box? Thank you.
It was for one crumbled box cake
If I make the box cake with apple sauce, can I just put the dough in cakepop mold/pan?
Very nice I have a question 🙋♀️ how long you put the cake pops in the freezer or the refrigerator? After you put the sand?
Until they're ready to serve😊
Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Ty for watching 💞💕
Wow first time my cake pop never fell off of the stick!!!!! Thanks Of course, I need to practice more to obtain the smooth roundness like yours ......Great tutorial!!!!!!! One question have you ever added almond emulsion to your cake mix it's not oil so i was wondering if it would be okay to use?????
Tysm for your feedback! I have, a little goes a long way💜
@@CandyQueenBeeBaker thanks for responding 😘😘
I am going to keep using your recipe and will practice more
I have 8 grandkids so I will be adding cake pops now along with decorative sugar cookies for all their birthdays😘
Thanks again 😘
@@debbymessa3042 you are very welcome! I'm available on Instagram via messenger if you need me🥰
Those are pretty and perfect
Would the apple sauce change the flavor of cake pops? And for your chocolate how do you make it that runny?
I've learned they always say add a small amount of coconut oil to get the consistency
She said "chewy not playdoughy".. I love it.. Thank u
How can you make a cake pop holder
Where did you get the edible glitter
?
those are perfect cake balls
Does any coconut oil work?
How long do you chill in the fridge before you dip in the chocolate
Hi question! I got confused on one part, I see u made the cake balls and said to refrigerate them for 30 mins and then after that, we are okay to begin dipping the stick in chocolate and into the ball and then back into the fridge ?
Yes, you can do them either way. Some people like to refrigerate (like me) and some don't. You just have to find your groove. Hope that makes sense
You didn’t say how long they last if using applesauce instead of the oil??? I know this is years old but If anyone knows, please reply. Thanks
I did this recipe this weekend. It was pretty good for my first time. The only thing it's the chocolate was to thick. Do you know why? Thank you for sharing your tips and ideas. I'm planning to do this for raise money for my sister cancer treatment.
Hey love, sometimes depending on brands the outcome will be thick. You can add some vegetable oil, coconut oil, or some paramount crystals to help thin out the chocolate. ( add them little by little though, if the chocolate gets too thin is will not harden in the fridge)
How is she?
Great tutorial! Thank you! I made it and it came out good. Question: have you ever frozen your cake pop balls prior to decorating so you could use those later?
Tysm and yes! I recommend wrapping them 6times to prevent freezer burn
@@CandyQueenBeeBaker thank you so much for your quick response! I’m assuming that you’re wrapping it with plastic wrap? For now, I decided to just put the untouched cake in the fridge - the day after I made it and will make the cake pops a day or two before the event and keep them in the fridge. Please let me know if you have any thoughts/suggestions on this approach! Again TYSM!
@@sunathgk yes plastic wrap & Tinfoil as a last layer for extra protection. You should be totally fine as long as it stays in the fridge
@@CandyQueenBeeBaker thank you!!
Where did you purchase the cake pop holder from? Are you able to send the link

what temp should the dipping chocolate be
What do you do with left over melted chocolate
Got your answer. Thanks

am I the only one waiting for that ball to fall off 😆🤣 mine did
How long can I make cake pops ahead of time using applesauce and how to store them. is seven days too long to store
I freeze them to store them for lengthy time periods, bring them back to fridge temp(30min-1hr). Then proceed as usual. You don't have to add applesauce, it's an alternative option 😊 they stay good in the fridge 3-5days, in my opinion. Anything over that you may get mold if storing in a bag or container. I prefer to freeze😊
Nice tutorial. Can you taste the coconut oil in the chocolate? Does it have a coconut oil taste
Great question, I personally have tried it and never tasted coconut but you can also add oil flavorings to it as well
Nice recipe dear
I just leave the oil out, if I put any in, just a few teaspoons.
I always use cake from scratch to make cakepops. Never had any problems.
Same here
Why is my cake pops sliding off the sticks ? As I try to dip them?
Could be a number of things, try chilling them in the fridge for 10min
I've never tried the applesauce, so I'll try that technique next time. They look great!!
Tysm🥰
If I don't have the space in my fridge can they set at room temperature?? Also, can I leave them at room temperature at least 2 days before the party???
Thank you for the informative video.
I've never left them out for more than 30min (while working on them). I wouldn't recommend it during summer but it can definitely be a good experiment to see and find out
Thank you 💓😊
I have trouble getting the melts runny like that. It's thick.
I make my box cake with butter and they don’t crack at all.
I can’t find the bow class. Could someone tag me?
unfortunately saw you tutorial too late but definitely gonna try it next time
Hi, do you use this recipe for cakesicles too?
Yes😊🥰
Thank you
How far in advance can you make cake pops and leave them on the counter?
I honestly can't answer that question, I've never done that.... I imagine no more than a day?
How much early I can make this before delivery

Lol of your comment yes . right to my point. Love your ch and I hope I worrng as an emt . there giving people a hard time on the sound of these chs
Where do you get the gold and silver dust and all these different colors from
I decorate cakes for a living. This is a great video. I think what she is calling disco dust is what we use for adding shimmer to gum paste flowers. It's in the cake decorating section of the craft stores with the fondant/gum paste supplies. It's called Pearl Dust. It comes in a tiny plastic container. There are some kinds that are a slightly larger texture than the pearl dust. I'm not 100% sure that this is what she's using, but it looks like it. I have made many cake pops and I never thought to use it on them!
@@heidicakes1165 I’m so grateful for these videos for people making these kind of videos and for people like yourself as well for explaining things and guiding people like me where to find these great items.
@@KUEENOFKUPZ I love watching videos to get new ideas! No matter how long we have done something, there is always something more to learn!
Does the applesauce cake still taste the same?
Yes. If you're super particular and picky I'd stick to the oil
The way I make them goes by way faster and I taste bomb too
How please
@@spiderfan560 ok so all you do is bake a cake let it cool, then
@@spiderfan560 get 2 tbl of frosting and mash every thing together but you mash the cake first then add the frosting and when it feels modlable mold it
Then dip sticks in chocolate let it cool, then dip whole thing
Thanks hun
Great sharing my friend. I enjoyed watching. Stay in touch! 🔔👆🏻
What kind of pearls like fake or edible?
Candy pearls❤️
Where do you buy disco dust in stores?
I find them on Amazon
Candy Queen Bee Baker thank you!
where do you find a good scooper ?
Mine keep falling off the stick
I suggest refrigerating them before you dip. Make sure you have the stick on there first and pop into the fridge for like 5-10min. Then dip
So instead of using vegetable oil you use crescos
How come my stick always fall
There could be a number of reasons. Try dipping the stick in the chocolate & leaving it in the fridge for 5min or so.
It's cracking because your cake pop is too cold or your chocolate is too hot....
Lucky you live n Arizona you are not in quarantine I live in El Centro I an still in quarantine
So what.?
thank you to help us
💜
Do cakesikles

Hi
Tha
Way too much talking!
Why listen then? 🙄
Great class love the apple sauce idea as a substitute will definitely will try it.
Thank you for making cake pop look easy.
They oil is not what causes the cracks... I've made them more than a dozen times with the oil and have perfect cakepops...what causes cracks is cold cake pop being dipped in hot chocolate.
That too but too much oil will seep through and create cracks to leak out
@@CandyQueenBeeBaker I agree, in the past, mine would crack and oil would leak out.
Exactly, thermal shock.
wow this was a great class. you did an awesome job!
Thank you for sharing. Today is my first time making cake pops and I'm super excited about it.
Yay! Have fun❤
Me too I making some for my dad for Fathers Day
phew.. I hope yours turned out better than mine 😆 gawd. I couldn't get them to stay on the stick
@@AuntLALA Lol. All of mine came off of the stick. I thought I was the only one it happened to 🤣🤣
You're awesome!! Thank you!!!
