Snuffy: “Tectonic plates?” >starts the quiz >gets South America plate >presses everything except South America >rage quits Me: >crying laughing on the floor
Snuffy doing the countries quiz makes me want to roll my eyes so far back into my head they will never go back. Things like Spain, Brazil, Turkey, etc were so easy for me. Alas, it seems raccoons aren't very good at geography.
People be like _"hurr americans are stupid because they don't know where countries are"_ and it's like, no, they're stupid for many other reasons and knowing where countries are is not meaningful.
My lack of geographical knowledge has straight up been a problem for some people in my life. Glad to know there are people who are worse than me. I checked. I did the tests before she did.
19:40 Maybe Snuffy might be interested to know (obviously not) that there actually is an “Old” Hampshire back in the UK although there the Brits just call it Hampshire. Although they would probably pronounce it Hampsher rather than Hamp-Shy-yaar like Murricans like say because they love drawing the Shire part out ever since they saw Lord Of The Rings and probably get a kick out of trying to do Sean Astin’s West Country™️ accent which at least is better than them trying to say “Arry Po’Ah! Australia is country and continent, Australia includes Papua New guinea and other island countries. Oceana is region that includes Australian continent, New Zealand, and other islands. New Zealand could be a continent itself called Zealandia, but majority is underwater. Thank you for reading my 2 minutes of wasted time.
No, the continent is called Oceania. Continents are just regions of the world. If continents are defined by being a continual landmass, then Europe, Asia and Africa would be considered the same continent, and Britain would have been a continent seperate from Europe. Every island would be considered its own continent, wich makes no sense. Then the Uk, and Japan wouldnt be considered a part of any continent. Continents only makes sense as parts of the world, and thats why we call it "world parts" in Sweden and not continents.

You just gotta love every video that shows how little knoweledge of the world do the americans have, but I have to say, even with all the fails, she's not that bad as other americans I've seen or even met, by a long shot. There was this one guy I met in a university student's exchange that thought that the US was the only country on the planet, and that every other country out there was a US state that had it's own society by some unknown reason. And he isn't the worst case I know.
Yikes. I bet the exchange program broadened the hell out of his perspective then. Then again it sounds like hearing Spanish at his local market would be enough to broaden his horizons.

Where does she think the North Pole is?
New England?
Obviously a territory of Canada kekw
It's crazy to think how we're (Australian) the biggest island in the world and we have almost the same population as Florida
You can tell we're nowhere near starting a colony on Mars because we can't even terraform the rest of Australia as livable.
