Calli pretty much just went with her natural voice and I love it for this exact reason. They don't have to do anything extra, they're just using their voice as it's been to them for x years; it's more natural rather than made unnatural.

She wanted to fit in and one day on a personal call with iron mouse and nyanners and others she admitted to them that her voice was fake and talked to them in her normal voice. They encouraged her to stick with her (now) popular real voice.
if i’m being honest, with the rigging on her character. it looks a lot better when she speaks with her “normal” voice. it doesn’t freak out with her mouth because she’s obviously forcing it and when you do that it puts strain on your mouth and neck.

You have really good comedic timing and have made me laugh on multiple occasions. Your real voice makes you stand out. Feels like there’s more personality compared to other V-Tubers.

Snuffy's low confidence in THAT sound, mom vibes, sister vibes, these two happening in the same time, and this voice even straight blowing her acted voice out of the water. It is like Risu's mature voice but with wider range for "purposes" :) She definitely got a huge buff with a powerful factor, chat will know sh.t is about to go down when she drops this sound.

Seeing this a little over a year later is kind of interesting, because it went from a strange high pitched voice, to the one I am used to. I am glad she was able to become comfortable with her normal voice. It is also cool to know that she can do other voices as well. :-)

I just can't imagine having to allocate that mental bandwidth to maintain a persona like that. Her natural voice is attractive.
You would likely have to train yourself to use that new voice for months for even a slight shift. A lot of transgendered people are basically training for years, and it's much more difficult if you're training to go down in pitch. Makes the feat even more impressive for me.
