Thanks so much for the nice review Kevy! You definitely give the APEX more gas than I do, even with the low blade feel. Some real skill there. Super glad you enjoyed your first shave with it too!
Hi Kevy. Nicely digestable length of video. The Apex is $149 so it may have priced itself out of some folks pocket including mine. It does look a good one though. Perhaps your shave was enhanced by the Vikings Sword blade too. They are top class imo. All the best.
Thank you very much for this excellent review. I wonder if the channel you show on the top cap of the razor was put there to reduce the amount of metal and therefore the weight of the cap? I know nothing of razor design however. You sure are expert at shaving -- I say that as a warm compliment. I am not as skilled as you. So it is interesting to watch how you and other guys shave in these types of product reviews. Thanks again for your thoughts on this razor.
@@kevyshaves4109 Interesting that the Apex would feel as smooth as the 6S. The max blade gap of the 6S is 0.79mm compared to 0.99 mm for the Apex. I guess the combination of gap, exposure, and geometry accounts for the Apex feeling as smooth as the 6S. Price-wise, they are about the same unless one buys the Rockwell 6S on sale. But 6 razors in one is hard to beat.

I like the long version. I think I would like this razor also.
I really appreciate your channel. You have been extremely helpful in my new safety razor endeavors. Thank you.
Great to hear! Kevy 😃
Great video Kevy
Thanks 😀
Great review as always. Have you noticed that it’s harder to buy double edge blades online?
It is getting more difficult. Kevy 🙂

The slot on the top cap is actually just cosmetic and a bit of a trademark, since we're the only ones I know of who have done it so far.
Your view on the top cap channel could well be correct, it makes sense. Kevy 😃
In these Inflationary Times
. Muhle r89 head only with Ikon handle $40
Hey Kevy, how would you compare the smoothness to the Rockwell 6s?
It feels as smooth as the 6S. They're different beasts but both shave wonderfully well. Kevy 😁

@@kevyshaves4109 That says a lot. This may be a razor I might pick up down the line. Thanks for replying.
Unacceptable. Unacceptable.
10 minutes was supposed to be the face lathering only 😂😂😂
Short version should be 50 minutes and the longer 100😂😂😂
😃
