Prince William and Harry Avoid Each Other at Diana's Memorial

- Last night’s memorial event to Princess Diana lays bare how bad their relationship has become.
The event was orchestrated so that Prince William left before Prince Harry joined the event via a Zoom call. A memorial event such as this might have been a chance for the two brothers to spend time with each other, united in their grief. But it seems that unity may now be the in the past.
It’s thought the last time the brothers were in the same room was for King Charles’ coronation in May 2023. Their relationship appears to have become increasingly frosty since Prince Harry stepped back from royal duties in 2020.
Before that the pair seemed to be on friendly brotherly terms, and were often seen joking with each other at official events.
But Prince Harry has been accused by some of ‘airing the Royal Family’s dirty laundry’ in his books and TV programmes.
The divide is now so severe even King Charles’ cancer diagnosis failed to bring them together. When Prince Harry flew to London after his father was diagnosed earlier this year, he did not meet with Prince William.
It seems the rift between the two brothers may now never be healed.

Harry's deceit started when he left the UK, did that heinous Oprah interview and didn't spend precious time with his grandparents, knowing their ages and fragility. He told The Queen he'd written a 'memoir', but that it wouldnt be published until after she'd passed away. He chose not to spend any time with her at Balmoral in her last few weeks - how do you think that made her feel? When his father announced his cancer diagnosis, Harry spent HALF AN HOUR with him, before presenting at a sports award ceremony later that evening. William would have, understandably, cancelled his plans and been respected for it, and for putting other's needs before his own. William has publicly been very hurt and betrayed, and there comes a point where you have to hold your head high and walk away. Harry doesn't deserve any more chances.

This short part of the beginning of this video lead me to feel that Harry never loved his brother but had been jealous of him for so many reasons and he was just waiting for some one strong enogh and hateful to help him stand up and attack his brother with whatever means he may have. Meghan was only the means that helped Harry to show his real self, not what he was trying to show, covering his real feelings towards his brother and his family.
A family betrayal is something terrible to happen and Harry will still bitterly regret it........a very big rift. William needs people around him who are discreet and trustworthy.

I agree, but the reporters/commentators think they know best and will never shut up interfering. Unfortunately, until methane has absolutely no control over hazzard, the squidgies and a lot of the media, attacks on the WALES FAMILY will continue. IMHO, the sharkles are doing/leading all these attacks in the hope that WILLIAM will stand down as Heir to the throne to protect his family and that will elevate hazzard into the role. Unfortunately most families have experienced these sort of relationships. Painful, especially considering the opportunities h had at his disposal. Good thing William has good support network, purpose and personal integrity to carry on with positivity.
Prince William has been attacked as has his wife, constantly since H's wedding. I imagine most of us haven't seen such betrayal and venom so easily and publicly spewed in our lives. There is no place where this is ok Harry. Learn to love yourself and stop listening to the whispers creating your paranoia. Look at all you've lost. Anyone who would love you would have stood by you and your family and worked differences out in private. No ones perfect, but Prince William deserves brotherhood, your loyalty, not deceit. It began with a lie. Queen Liz used Diana for heirs. She should have let Charles marry Camilla in the first place
Their relationship didn't start becoming increasingly frosty when Harry stepped away from the Royal Family. It started when Harry didn't listen to those closest to him when they voiced their concerns over Meghan and the speed in which their relationship moved. William and Catherine, and as has been well documented, lots of Harry's friends remarked how much Harry changed after he met her, and not for the better. His behaviour over the past few years has been despicable and unforgivable. The things Harry has said and done, acting like he's a victim, can't be taken back. He's been extremely disrespectful and I think W&C have simply had enough. Harry cannot be trusted.

Prince William will survive anything thrown at him because he’s a kind and descent person with the full support of his wife, children , aunts, uncles, cousins and a supported extended family . A man of integrity which always shows. Those of us that have family like the brother have learnt that no amount of forgiveness will repair damage. My aunt and uncle (my mom's siblings) used to be the best of friends, but they haven't spoken to each other in 20 years after bitterly falling out. Their dad and other brother died, and they still didn't speak to each other. Their kids don't know each other. That happens in life, everybody needs to move on.

What’s done is done. Let go of old attachments. It takes years to build trust, and mere seconds to destroy it. Forgive for your own health, but never forget. You don’t have to take anyone back into your life after forgiving them. Love them or the memory of who they were, from afar, or let it fade to complete indifference and alienation. Don’t burn out your liver holding onto hate.

Oh my Gosh, yes, Harry is blood but he has been so cruel. It's been years now. Do people really think Meghan controls him so much that he doesn't realize what he's doing when he abuses his family on shows like Oprah and on-line. Harry has been cruel to Princess Catherine and the children and supports Meghan who has done the same. A man like Prince William will not tolerate that ever. The relationship is forever over.

From the bottom of my heart, I really hope one day see they minimally together. My uncle and aunt didn't speak each other for almost 8 years (from a pretty tough reason by the way), but everyhow it was devastating for my grandma. When they decided to speak each other again, is was the biggest blessing for the family. May he find the a way back in the family (not necessarily the institution) that's what I root for in the end of the day
This rift is there not because of a family quarrel during thanksgiving, but because of betrayal and being trashed on a world stage by your own sibling.
