Some of the GP 9 on CN have 2 tanks on the side roofs. This is a nice model. Love this engine. Nice run..uh oh my commuter cars again! 😅😀☺ thanks again!
I've bought five. Two that I bought I purchased through Walthers for (drum roll please) for DCC & sound S109.98. That's $90.00 less. Last time I checked they was selling the CP roads for dirt cheap. These GP9s are "Mainline" value wise as your first geep was their "Trainline" value line. So Walthers top of the line is their P2k' then their intermediate line is Mainline then their cheapest is their "Trainline" value line.
Nice. I got one of the older (ish) mainline ones, in the Railink 4003 paint. I like it, power for days, runs ok low speed, and pretty good detail for what I paid. (Got it for $95 at a train show brand new just after they came out)
subpar retooled old Cox Athearn shell. wrong contours on db housing, other 1970s -ish shell design work, such as marker lights, surface air intakes, etc. Not worth the price. sorry, no banana.
The cab mounted headlight looks so strange on a Canadian model
8:58 Tight squeeze! I like it. Ditch lights or not. Good price, looks good and sounds fine to me. Thanks for the review.
These units have the same drive as their proto line; they’re smoooth as butter lol. Good review
I`m presently doing a conversion on this model. I find it to be an excellent runner with loads of potential. Thank you for the inspiring overview.
Boomer Dioramas I appreciate that! Thanks for watching.

harold alexis limited on detail for sure but it runs like a dream. Thanks for watching!

Bradley Ogden that’s a great price. That’s most likely usa $ though right?
Still like $145 Canadian so that’s not bad.

Looks decent. Sound is great. Walthers did a good job on this one.
I've noticed that CP put spark arrestors on some of theirs, specifically the 1590. Are these available in HO? The prototype now calls Utah home.
great vid kris
I can imagine me having that smushed in GTW gp9s lol.
That'll buff right out
Can you do a side shot of your layout. It looks nice.
CRSR DASH-8 40B I will be posting a layout update within the next couple of days.
After some few modifications that could be a good model
agreed!
Like what?
can u add ditch lights to it and does the number boards light
it is possible yes with a bit of work.
The windows pattern on the short nose are not correct ,no bell on the side too . Go to see a real one and you will se the differences .
Nice loco
It looks really jittery 10:23
It was near the start. After running it more and more it kind or levels out. They are not the best for that super slow movement. But still decent
I got mine for $109.98
You should look at modeltrainstuff.com I got mine in Chessie livery for 140$

Nice engine but too much bell. Had to mute.
Sorry about that. Ill remember for next time
