An 18 footer with a 300 hanging off the back sounds a little terrifying to be honest 😅
16:00 someone that does not understand how to trim a boat... He likely was over heating because water pressure had to be low trimmed that high.... He was trimmed so high that the nose wasn't coming up.... A lot of people think the higher they trim the faster they go... And that is way incorrect. When your trimmed so high that your throwing a roster tail like that at 50-55mph yoy are wasting thrust and losing prop bite... That mercury wasn't happy I assure you that.
Well with the right lower unit the water pickup is lower to the water so u can trim higher it is made for racing
It only takes one millisecond for the boat to get out of control and everyone on board dies. Not worth the risk.
Well if you don’t know what you are doing that’s unlikely but that is exactly what happened on the run after that one when a guy goin wide open throttle through a creek and lost control went in the mangroves and was killed
